Signature Hershey's Chocolate Martini
Jessica L.

The food and cocktails were excellent!!! The Ferris wheel and the Chocolate Martini ARE A MUST HAVE FOR SURE!!! (I would have had another round if I wasn't needing to be going anywhere else )

Stopped by chocolate world and saw the chocolatier and got a reservation on open table right away. We were greeted and seated immediately. Ive included a Pic of the food menu. I got the reeses chicken sandwich which was so good but if you want a strong pb flavor ask for extra sauce on the side. My husband got the chocolate tier burger. Good but same needed more sauce. Fries were crispy and cooked well. Too full for dessert. Service was good. Its a fun casual theme park esthetics like you are in a carousel.

Overall a decent dining experience was had at The Chocolatier. And the general consensus seems to be that the Food here was pretty good but the Drinks stole the freakin show. And well, why not when you're talking about their incredibly indulgent Reese's Martini, or their super deliciously decadent S'mores Martini drinks. It just stands to reason that whatever main courses they served next had very little chance of overshadowing these outstanding refreshments. The Loaded Mac and Cheese with tender Pulled Short Rib and Smoked Cheddar Queso topped with Hershey's Chocolate BBQ Glaze was clearly a winner. Served in a "Kiss" shaped dish and with plenty to go around. [I'm definitely borrowing this recipe peeps] The Bourbon Maple Glazed Chicken and Waffles seemed to be lacking in both texture and flavor unfortunately the hand breaded Chicken offered zero flavor and the same could be said for the bone-dry Waffle. Thanks to that Maple Glaze and Huge Blob of Butter this dish would have had no chance whatsoever, Lol. Above reminds me of a funny restaurant saying I heard years ago- "Just feed them more booze, butter, and salt. They only have to live long enough to pay the check" LMAO!! more or less it's the truth sometimes, Come And Get Your Munch On!!

We stopped by on a busy Saturday night after Hershey Chocolate World, and got bar seating immediately. The chocolate flight was a great choice -- with 3 variations. A bit expensive at $25 but I excepted touristy pricing. Staff was really nice and kept us with the busy night.

Service was impeccable! Everyone we came across from hostess to server were attentive and welcoming. We decided to give this place a shot since we had been at the park the entire day. The food was definitely hit or miss. The drinks were fantastic! Food wise we enjoyed the ferris wheel sampler the best. Everything included in the sampler was delicious! Especially the glazed bacon bites and fried pickle dip. This was the dip of our dreams! The entrees is where this experience slacked. The loaded mac n cheese had a little too many cocoa nibs. The burgers buns were a bit tough. The NY strip was the best of the entrees we ordered. Overall this is definitely a drinks and small bites type of place. Definitely recommend everyone to make it in at least once to experience all the hershey creations you can't find anywhere else!

3.5 stars overall for food but rounded up since our server was great and I feel like this is one of those "must try in Hershey Park" at least once. And reservations recommended! We enjoyed the Ferris wheel app, we all preferred one app over another but overall we all enjoyed the mozzarella triangles, chicken tenders, Cuban spring rolls, dill pickle dip and chips, and pork belly/bacon bites! The chicken sandwich had no flavor and looked like they cooked a frozen patty. The burger was okay. The loaded mac said it has pulled short rib but they sprinkled cacao nibs all over it and my son didn't find the crunch appealing. The beef short rib was good, the sauce infused with cocoa but the cacao nibs really wasn't necessary since you don't really taste it but you have that awkward crunching. Well at least we can say we've been there but unfortunately we don't have a desire to go back.

Lots of mixed reviews, but after visiting, I have to wonder how much of that has to do with hot parents and cranky kids after a long day out. This place was cool, quiet, and upstairs from the gift shop, so easy to get to coming out of the park. Not bad at all to get to if you're just coming in for the meal from outside, though. If you're in and out just to eat, parking should end up being free. Service was friendly. Food was very good. Had some cool chocolate-infused items: cocoa powder in unexpected, but pleasant places. We had four adults and all liked their dishes. This was a month ago, so I don't remember the names of all the dishes, but I'm adding pictures. Did not go with kids, which are plentiful if you're already here, so I can't speak to that experience. We loved it.

Cacao carrots - I make better at home using honey, butter, cinnamon and ginger. Super easy.

If you want a restaurant that makes you feel like you're on vacation - the Chocolatier feels like it brings a slice of Universal Citywalk straight to Hershey PA. Our server Savannah was absolutely amazing and sweet and friendly. She made the perfect recommendations and told my son how he could put the sauce and cacao nibs on the side for his loaded mac and cheese. She recommended a martini when I asked her what to choose. When the martini ended up being too strong, she brought me one mixed with soft serve that was perfect!! (The other one with 2 kinds of vodka was okay but we had more roller coasters to ride and it would not have been good!!!) I ordered the mushroom risotto with shrimp. To be honest I would have preferred a few more shrimp - they were amazing. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger (again) and my son got the loaded mac and cheese with beef short ribs. Omg the ribs were amazing. My daughter had a giant plate of pasta off the kids' menu. My son and I shared carrots dusted with cacao and they were okay but I was underwhelmed. They were good when we dipped them in the chocolate bbq sauce. In all, the portions are gigantic. It's overpriced but that's what you get for eating inside the park at a tourist place. But it made us truly feel like we were having a vacation splurge. Better food at the Chocolate Ave Grill but you waste time leaving the park. This is perfect for the experience!

When leaving the park, they have a gimmicky chocolate themed restaurant that seemed to attract a lot of attention. We tried it out getting a couple of their signature items. Of course we started off with a couple chocolate martinis which were decent and strong. Next we got the short rib and steak which were both absolutely fantastic. Both meats were very tender and were paired with sauces that had a slight chocolate taste/sweetness to it - very similarly to the sweet earthy flavor of mole. I 100% thought this place was going to be a tourist trip but the food was surprisingly very good and incorporated the chocolate very well into each dish. Our server was great as well. Would love to come back to try more chocolate inspired dishes! Entrees: Cocoa-Dusted Beef Short Rib and Hershey Spice rubbed NY Strip Drinks: Hershey's Chocolate Martini and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Martini

We dined at The Chocolatier during our last night in Hershey for my friend's bachelorette party weekend. Looking to get as much of a chocolate experience as we could in the short time we had here, this seemed like an obvious place to check out - so off we went. The Chocolatier is located on the ground of Hersheypark, adjacent to the theme park itself on the second floor of a large open indoor space (the first floor houses a gift shop that is attached to the park). We arrived to a fairly empty restaurant, though I infer it's because it was 8pm during the offseason (many a review say this is a hard place to get into during peak months). The restaurant has a carnival theme with booths made to look like ride vehicles and other aesthetics that give off a theme park feel. The most unique factor of the menu is that some of the dishes are made with chocolate when it normally would not. Besides that, the fare here is pretty much American casual. We decided to start with drinks because bachelorette party - I went with the cranberry spritz which wasn't the best, it tasted like juice more than anything else. For apps we started with the loaded fries and the Ferris Wheel. The loaded fries were good, they were topped with shredded beef and a tasty sauce. The Ferris Wheel was essentially several different apps arranged in plates that doubled as cars of a ferris wheel. Mozzarella wedges, pretzel bites, chicken tenders, chips with dip - it was a fun arrangement; the actual apps themselves were fine - tasty junk food. For my main I decided to get one of their chocolate-themed dishes - the pulled pork sandwich. I wasn't really impressed with it - I couldn't taste any chocolate, and the pork was dry (partly due to the lack of substantial sauce). The fries that came with the meal were fries. Service was a mixed bag, on one had they did an excellent job as one member of our party has severe food allergies and they went above and beyond to make sure nothing that was served to us would trigger them. On the other hand, there were misses - both myself and my friend asked for club sodas and neither of them were delivered. Also, perhaps due to the time, we were not offered dessert - they threw some Hersheys Kisses on the table along with our cheque. Everyone was friendly which was a plus. Overall, The Chocolatier was an underwhelming experience. This is a popular restaurant, though I infer it's due to location, theme, and lack of other options in the area. While they were friendly, I wasn't impressed with the food and would think twice before dining here again.

I came here on April 6 a Sunday with a reservation at 7:15. The restaurant was not crowded and our server Camden immediately greeted us and was so kind throughout our whole meal! I wanted a s'mores martini since I saw a lot of pictures online for it but she said they took it off two days ago because it was seasonal. It seems like a lot of their menu is seasonal since a lot of food I saw online was no longer being offered. I ordered the Reese's burger ($20) which was so large and filling. There were nuts inside but overall tasted like a normal burger you can find anywhere. We took the fries and our milkshake to go since we were so full after just one burger and no appetizer. I will definitely be back and order a dessert when I have more stomach room!

We went on Saturday night after going to Hersheypark as we do every year when my mother in law visits from FL. Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal. The ferris wheel sampler never disappoints. My mother in law and myself both got shrimp tacos which were amazing. My wife got the Rees's Take 5 chicken sandwiche and she loved it. Our son got the kids grilled cheese which was....a grilled cheese lol. He liked it. Of course our son had to finish with a milkshake.

Wanted the full Hershey experience, so we stopped here for dinner after a day exploring Hershey and have to admit we were pretty disappointed. The drinks were delicious - I'll give them that - but the food was lackluster. I had a margherita flatbread - which was more like dough with sliced tomatoes, a few small dollops of mozzarella, and saturated in chocolate infused balsamic - making it far more of a caprese than margherita. I had a side of the mushroom risotto as well which was okay but nothing to write home about. For the price, I expected the food to be a bit tastier, so I'd likely find somewhere else to eat next time I'm in Hershey.

Iberian Lounge - Beer and a pretzel and cheese board

Service was a little slow but it was a concert night (it just seemed understaffed)…read more but our server was friendly and very kind. They boast whiskeys from around the world and my friend ordered a unique cocktail - Bananas Foster Old Fashioned. The bar food was really good- the wings were my fave- fried but not breaded. The pretzel was so filling - meats and cheeses - like a charcuterie board. It was a great first and last stop to our concert night! It closes at midnight- wish it would stay open until 1 on concert nights.

I thought this was an ideal spot, so off we went. Iberian Lounge is located on the second floor of the hotel, off the fountain lobby across from Trevi 5. The space is kinda large for a lounge - they have a mixture of tables with soft furniture, a couple of couches, and stools at the bar. The decor has a somewhat Spanish theme (hence the name), and it matches the former hotel lobby it sits off of. In addition to the obligatory drinks, the lounge also serves food. We were gonna eat later, though, so we opted to just have the former. I was in Hershey so I wanted to try one of their signature drinks so I went with their Hershey's Kiss Signature Martini. This kinda blew my mind if I'm being honest - the drink was clear like a martini but it tasted so much like a Hershey's Kiss - my mind couldn't comprehend this as i consumed the delicious sips. Service was great, everyone was friendly and our drinks came out promptly. Overall, I had a great experience at Iberian Lounge - the drinks were fun, and the atmosphere was comfortable. This is an ideal place to chill while at Hotel Hershey.

We are glad we finally did. 1762 was formerly known as The Warwick Hotel, and that's the prominent markings you'll see from the street. It is a really excellent spot on the square in Hummelstown with cozy charm and exceptional service. My companion was initially skeptical when she saw wine on tap but immediately changed her mind when she saw the offerings--good quality and reasonable price point. The beer selection is also good. Not a huge number of beers but well-selected. Although we didn't have a full meal we did enjoy the sausage and honey appetizer, which was outrageously tasty with sausage from a local butcher in Hershey. Service was efficient and friendly, especially considering the bar (where we sat) was hopping. We also met the owner, Dave, who rolled up his sleeves to assist at the bar while also personally greeting customers. Our biggest regret is that we waited so long to finally visit...and we'll definitely be back soon.

We started off with the mushroom flatbread, which was delicious. Hubby had the mahi-mahi special and I had a shrimp dish. I got to choose what kind of topping I wanted on my shrimp, which was really interesting. I chose the sautéed mushrooms. Yum. Plus, lots of great choices for sides. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!

The menu immediately caught my eye with its local flair, and it did not disappoint. They happened to be hosting trivia night, which was such a fun surprise and gave the place great energy. I ordered the chef's special crabcake sandwich, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Easily the highlight of my night and exactly what I needed after a long day. Kelsey and Kristen were absolute standouts--warm, engaging, and incredibly welcoming. Even as someone from out of town, I was treated like a regular, which made the experience even better. Between the food, atmosphere, and people, this will absolutely be a regular stop for me on future work trips. Highly recommend.

There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!
