Ben was our server, he was fantastic! He was able to explain some of the dishes on the menu since we've never eaten here before, which was helpful. He also noticed our table was wobbly and fixed it right away- in my experience, most servers don't do that and they just leave the wobbly table. He was super bubbly and friendly, and perfectly attentive. Mozzarella sticks 10/10 Can't ever go wrong with a little fried cheese and red sauce! Shrimp tacos 7/10 I actually was not a huge fan of these. All the ingredients sounded great, but it wasn't as good as the menu reads. The shrimp were actually cooked perfectly. I feel like the slaw was just like kinda wilted lettuce rather than that crisp cabbage, and the entire dish was super wet, like my tacos were sitting in a bunch of juice on the plate, I'm not really sure what it was from but it just made the shells super soggy and start falling apart. We had reservations for dinner and we were seated immediately. This was a night where there was a concert at the stadium and show at the theater. They were incredibly busy but handled service like a pro! We ordered the crispy cauliflower. It had a nice bite to it and the garlic ranch that came with it helped cool it down. Two people ordered smash burgers with fries and enjoyed them. I got the taco salad, which I enjoyed. My only complaint was they gave me the smallest amount of dressing! I had to ask for more. It was a big salad! The desserts looked amazing, but we were full from dinner. The place was updated. Lots of TVs to watch the games. The Reese's Take 5 burger was really good. Good flavor and not sweet. I was very glad I took the risk and tried it.... But funny enough, the dessert sucked. My dad said his brookie dessert was good but I got the warm chocolate cobbler with icecream and it was hard, almost stale. Could not really eat it (that's why I drop a star on my review). We are locals who stopped in for both of our birthdays. My husband had the blackened chicken pasta which he said was just ok. He actually said that Applebee's is better and less expensive. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It was NOT palatable...it appeared to be microwaved because it was rubbery, tough, and tasteless. Also, what they called carmelized onions were not like any others I've ever had...NOT good! The fries were pretty good. I asked the server to bring me what I was supposed to have - GRILLED chicken and I would just make do with that which she did. It was made the way it should have been. I would like to recognize our server, Tanynn, who we remembered from our Holihan days. She was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. I would also like to call out the Manger, Alex. We sat and observed a couple of issues concerning him. We heard a table near us ask if they could put the hockey game on one of the tvs. He checked his phone and found out that they did not have that programming. He then asked the server to tell them this instead of handling it himself. He continued to wander through the dining room, only stopping to pick up a cloth napkin on the floor. Alex needs to get his head in the game and engage his customer base...ask if everything is okay and if there is anything else they need. Find out how their food is and which entrees are not favorites. There is always room for improvement! Tourists are only part of your clientele, perhaps only dining there once. It is people like us who are locals that have the choice of supporting a business like yours 365 days a year. In summary, thank goodness we received $20.00 off our meal with my birthday coupon because a manager NEVER stopped by to apologize or attempt to make things right. Thank goodness for Tanynn! We went on Memorial Day and we were happy it was open. Got seated right away, and had the nicest waitress! They have all kinds of fun Hershey themed food and drinks. We had to try as many as we could! We got the Hershey S'mores old fashioned and the Hershey kisses martini flight. Omg! They were all so good. Then we got the bread and butter appetizer with 3 delicious infused butter flavors. I got the grilled chicken sandwich which was very good. You could tell it was actually grilled on an open flame. My husband got the Hersheys Take 5 burger. He said it was just too interesting not to try. He said it was not very peanut butter forward but he really could taste the chocolate. I remember when this was Houlans. Lots of TVs and for those who have sound sensitivity it is loud and can be overwhelming and overstimulated (just warning now for any ADHD or Autism) coming in bar stool as seats and it was easy to get in when we used the reservation open table. It was me, my husband and my lovely mother in law we were celebrating his new job and new book. The waiter friendly and very knowledgeable including for my taste sensitivity. Apps we tried the fried mozzarella and buffalo sliders. Rich like the slider and the fried mozzarella triangle with sauce stretchy cheese and I was afraid I was going to chock (this is apart of Arfid and I tried to chew) it was good. My husband and mother law got the pasta it was good. Which they did accommodate to her need which is a gluten allergy. Key note glad the waiter told for gluten allergy there is cross contamination no special station (like I work at Hersheypark where we have to keep everything seperate and different gloves) I tried the BBQ meatloaf grilled cheese with bacon forgot to take a picture it was big. I did the upcharge for truffle fries. The ketchup was smokey. We had dessert my mother in law got the chocolate cobbler yummy (I tried a little and wanted to steal it lol) we shared the Reese's piecaken yes cake, cheesecake and pie. It was big and decadent because of the chocolate cake made it rich. It was pretty good I tried it as a newby but I wouldn't do that again. On 07/31/26, my husband & I came to check out Hershey Social! We were staying at the Days Inn which was in walking distance of it! We were able to get seats & the bar & the service was fast! We ended up playing some online games the bar had which we haven't done in a long time which was so much fun! We ended up partaking in happy hour! We got some happy hour drinks and got some small apps, we got mozzarella sticks & a Caesar salad with chicken! The food & drinks were delicious! Came for my daughter's 17th bday. The environment was fine and our waiter was attentive. It was cool to play trivia while waiting. For starters the onion bloom was good, pretzel was very dense and not warm. My husband's broccoli cheddar soup came out cold ( like they poured it into his bowl straight from the fridge), we sent it back to the kitchen. His potstickers were just ok. My Thai wings were great and the garlic ranch compliments it really well. My kids enjoyed their food. My fries were cold (didn't bother sending back since we already had to send the soup back). We ordered a yummy brownie dessert and the waiter put a candle in the bday girls and we sang! That was cute. High prices for half of the food to be cold and average tasting. The Tuna was delicious and surprised us all by its taste and presentation! Not what we expected here! We all had a burger each. I had a build your own and the others had the BBQ Smokestack Burger. They enjoyed it so much and still talk about it to this day. The drinks were great too. The Berry on Broadway Martini was delicious! So much so I had 3 (but could have kept going!). Terrible. Our family came into town and we were looking forward to dining there. The waitress cleared the appetizers while we were in the bathroom and we didn't get to eat them. All the dinners came to our table except for one and we were patient and asked after 15 minutes about the missing dish. It finally came out once everyone was already done eating and the chicken was completely burned and the salad was swimming in the dressing. Not sure how it even left the kitchen that way. We decided to take advantage of a nice day and go to the old Houlihans. Area the floor layout is more private with their new booths. It is less of an open floor layout. For drinks, I would recommend the peach Long Island iced tea. Pitcher, it is perfect for summer. I got a grilled chicken sandwich, which was tasty enough to not make me feel like I was trying to eat healthy. My wife had a margarita flatbread that was not only gluten-free but also had a very healthy and tasty flavor to it. The next time I go, I will probably get the same as her. We had a wonderful time while at this restaurant. We had a reservation and were able to get right in at the designated time. We noticed the menu was a bit limited in options yet the option's given all looked delicious. The onion petals were absolutely fantastic! They come with two different dipping sauces- one more like a ranch and the other some kind of chocolate concoction... honestly so so good. For dinner I had the Reese's Take5 smash burger and it also had a hint of chocolate taste in the sauce with thick cut bacon which was also just so so good. Like- unexpectedly good. It came on a nice big roll ,too, with delicious thick-cut fries. Our waitress was attentive, kind and funny with really made our evening extra special. Lastly- we did not participate however we noticed the dart games on the back wall with areas for families with kids or just larger gatherings can eat and have fun .... And they were!! I ordered wings, these were small and in a basket that made it hard to eat and $17, which was not worth it. My children's meals had barely any fries and also the Salmon was very salty. He barely ate it. The fish and chips were very crispy. The salad my mother and law had was super small and not worth the price. Not sure if I feel up to attempting again. Let me start by saying I have been here a few times and have never once had a problem until tonight.. My family and friends of 9 came in for dinner, Wendy was our server and after tonight I won't be coming back. Wendy never once filled any of our drinks, one being empty 10 minutes after we got there and for the whole hour never once refilled and barely checked on our table. Someone got a side of mac n cheese and there was a hair in it. She didn't come check to see how the food was for at least 15 minutes after receiving and taking a bite and seeing the hair. So by the time she got to the table to show her the hair, we were halfway through our food. So she asked if my sister wanted a new one and she said no she is okay and Wendy said "didn't think so" with an attitude as well and thats no way to speak to a table when its on the restaurant for the mistake. Then when she gave us a box there was another hair but she said it was her own (her hair was down) so it makes sense but obviously didn't help the situation we already went through. Then it came time for the bill she never asked once how we were going to do the check, just assumed and gave us one. I had asked is there anyway we can split it up and she said yeah you can give me multiple cards and I said we want to split it by the four of us on the one side and the three on the end and then the two and she said I cant split them like that as we had seen she did it for the table next to us and I have been there a few times before and they never had problems with it. So I got up to circle who is on what with my own pen and she comes over to me and grabs the check and tries to take my pen from me, and said oh we have the same pens thinking it was hers. We dont have the same pens because mine has my jobs name on it and looked nothing like her pens. Once she saw on my pen that I work for the same company but different places she sure enough took the bill (by just walking away and not saying anything) and split them up for us like I had asked. Before leaving she told me I needed to tell her what seat numbers everyone was at, which I had pointed to show her who was with who which was simple because everyone who was together was sitting together. She said "well what seat numbers" and I was like how do you do your seat numbers like who is at seat one when she pointed it was the end of my group of four, so it was very simple for her to see who was where especially because she knows her own seat numbers and we were all in order. Basically every interaction with her after her introduction was attitude from her, so I would not recommend Wendy at the social or really the social at all if thats how they allow their service to be. read more
