We dined here with a 7:45 PM Saturday reservation - my manager, her husband, their daughter, and my 10-year-old son. My son had a little extra energy, so we made a few trips to the lobby for paper airplane breaks. The food was easily some of the best we had on the grounds. We started with the burrata salad, which was a standout - bright, vinegary flavors paired with creamy burrata and perfectly crunchy, oil-infused bread cubes. Oh, and that table bread with the creamiest butter - there was a great rosemary flavor throughout, absolute delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the full wedge salad with filet. In hindsight, I should've listened to our server and gone with the half - just a lot of iceberg. Others at the table ordered the steak & frites and the garlic aioli was described as "life-changing." The kids weren't overly impressed with their meals, but honestly, they had already filled up on pool snacks, so tough crowd. We visited on a Monday night. The restaurant was clean and inviting. About 8 people were seated outside and 2 inside. Our party of 3 was greeted and seated promptly. It took about 10 minutes to get a server and about ten minutes more to receive a beer. My friend ordered a Caesar salad which she enjoyed while my other friend ordered the tuna entree which she described as mediocre. I would probably return for a beer and try their pizza. read more

A nice change of pace if you're looking for finer dining during your vacation. Our waitress was wonderful and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Drinks were excellent (definitely recommend the signature martinis), and for the most part, the food was good. The Risotto was great but the steak was just ok. For $60 I would've expected something a little more flavorful and upscale, but I can cook a better steak at home. If you have room for dessert, get the peanut butter pie. First off, Troy was a delight. What a wonderful waiter. Great attitude. The half chicken was quite good. However, it was $40. I live in NY and there are WHOLE Peruvian rotisserie chickens in Queens for $30. They're so delicious, you'd finish the whole thing before you got home if you could, but the grease would probably never come out of the upholstery in the car. So to recap, beer brined, mysterious yet savory and delicious green sauce, WHOLE chicken, $30. I ordered scallops. They were cooked through. That was the high point. They were salty - almost too salty to eat and there was an unpleasant briny smell to the risotto (and I like briny under normal circumstances). And that was $50. Did I mention there were only 4 scallops? There were only 4 scallops. The burger was just a burger. Not a robbery for $22, but certainly not worth the price tag. The mac and cheese was quite good, but sadly is completely different from the side dish (so my daughter had bland mac and cheese and my son who ordered it as an entree, had to share.) Dinner for 2 adults and 2 children with one sangria (meh, by the way), was about $150. My rule is this: If you're going to charge NYC prices, then you better have NYC quality. read more

Revelry exceeded our expectations! I wasn't too confident going in since the reviews weren't all great, but I was pleasantly surprised! We had the Caesar salad, which was delicious, and then split the tomahawk with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The mac and cheese was full of Gouda, and the mashed potatoes were so creamy. The steak was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. We had a wonderful bottle of red wine that, thanks to our waitress, paired perfectly. We went to the Revelry at the Hershey Lodge to celebrate our 32 anniversary. Wow! We did not know about this restaurant. Everything was spot on - service, food, and drinks. For our apps, we had the fresh house ricotta and Buffalo chicken dip. The fresh ricotta was the winner. For my meal, I had the wagyu strip loin that tasted amazing along with grilled asparagus and creamed street corn ( I was not fan of the corn). I had the red blend - Complicated wine and the Pinot noir - Three Otters wine. The red blend was winner. We did not have dessert ( filled up on the apps). If you don't want to leave the reservation, this is probably the best thing going at the Lodge. They work hard to make it have a real steak house feel, which if you frequent steakhouses, you'll see. Service was really good and on par with some of the better steakhouses I've visited. The sides and apps were nice, but the steaks just don't match up with the price point. They don't compare to the cut you'd get a real steakhouse. That being said, if you want to treat yourself one night and only have to walk back to your room, this will do the trick. read more

We stayed at Hershey lodge and tried this steakhouse place by chance because of the location. It is located in the hotel and had the best ambiance among others in hotel. The complimentary bread and butter were very good: warm bread and soft/creamy/very tasty butter. The wagyu steak was cooked at the perfect temperature and very juicy/tasty. The chicken dish was so amazingly tender (not sure how they cook the chicken to this tenderness). The Brussels sprouts were very tasty and very good with goat cheese. The service was a bit slow but good. That being said: I will say that the food here is very good however they are expensive and the service is a bit slow. But you get what you pay for. If you donot mind paying for good and tasty food and are not hurry to go anywhere, I would highly recommend this place. read more

Chose Revelry for our Anniversary dinner. The food was amazing! The steaks were perfectly done to order and the side we ordered came out hot , and delicious the portions were huge . Keep in mind if choosing this restaurant you are at family resort so as far as atmosphere they try hard . I had asked for a quiet table since it was our anniversary and they placed us nicely in a quiet but well lite corner. There are children going to be there so if you are bothered by children who have been at the park and Maybe tired this might not be the place for you. If you're looking for a really great steak dinner and don't mind paying a premium I don't think you'll be sorry. Comparing to the meal we spent a lot on at the Log Cabin even with the children commotion this was a very good dinner. I attended Revelry this past week and it was worth all the rave. So many people recommended this chophouse to me and I loved it. I had filet mignon, mashed potatoes and broccolini. The filet mignon was cooked very well. Although I tried the sauces (chimichurri and house steak sauce), they were not needed. The service was good. The night I attended they are not typically open but they were open due to special request. Our waitress did her best due to it not being a normal night. They were short staffed and limited menu. Simply put....Revelry blew us away. On our third nights stay at the lodge we decided to treat ourselves and try out the steak house. Impressions: Ambiance: rustic yet classy, dim lighting but not too dark. Just right IMO. Staff: pleasant, attentive. Service: excellent. Food: bone in rib eye was extremely tender and well seasoned. Portion for the price and quality was fair. The side dip of chimichurri complimented the perfect steak nicely. We also ordered a wagyu strip. Again very tender and flavorful. These were some of the best tasting steaks We've ever had. Side dishes: mashed potatoes, broccolini, Burrata appetizer all excellent. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were buttery smooth. Dessert: a type of peanut butter lava cake was good but not great. Would have liked a warm flowing inner peanut butter core which this was not. Still good. Overall, this place is essentially a must try for anybody staying at the lodge. Even for those not staying at the lodge this is some of the best steak I've ever had, period. As Covid winds down, it gets back to basics. Service and food quality. The service was exceptional. The food quality for the price was not. The kids meals were presented as if we were at a neighbors backyard cookout and they ran out of paper plates and threw the hot dogs and burgers in the middle of a big white China dinner plate. No condiments...no lettuce or onions or sides of anything "wet" to put on the dry buns. They had to go downstairs to the sports bar to get some pickles. (The sports bar where the food last night was exceptional.) My $57 ribeye was equal to what you would get at Golden Corral during Steak Night. Almost a non-existing cap on the Ribeye and definitely not the 18 ounces advertised. Again, plopped in the middle of a big white plate with zero garnishment. Even if the pricing was under $30....I would not be complaining. But 57 BUCKS....no way. My wife's filet was also not exciting or worth it's price. It time for someone to re-tool this operation and make it the chophouse that it could/should be. Hershey is famous for its quality and class. This comes from one thing and one thing only...it's people. This place could not survive with the reputation that it has without the kind and loving local people who work here. I don't blame the employees...I blame the management. Someone is really cutting corners post-Covid. I believe that this restaurant used to be the restaurant I expected it to be when I walked in. Enjoyed a lovely family dinner for 10 here during our vacation at Hershey Lodge. We're we're here last year and had a fabulous dinner. Our server was Taya and she was so knowledgeable, helpful and nice. She made everything go so smoothly. For appetizers we enjoyed the blue cheese fondue with homemade potato chips, tuna tartare, tomato bisque (sweet and creamy), shipped salad (big enough for 3-4 people). For entrees we had the tomahawk steak (shared by 3), salmon in fabulous soy ginger sauce, filet mignon, lollipop lamb chops, veal tenderloins, and scallops. Sides were whipped potatoes. Broccoli. Asparagus, and mushrooms. A child enjoyed max and cheese and fresh fruit salad. . All were so delicious. We also enjoyed some signature cocktails; the Hershey chocolate-caramel martini, a Manhattan, and a smuggler. Highly recommend the chocolate martinis. For dessert we shared some chocolate lava cake. This is a somewhat small and dark restaurant with a bar inside. I actually liked the atmosphere but I could see how others may not. I did see a terrace which I would assume would be open during the spring and summer months. I would suggest making reservations as it can get very busy if the hotel is busy. They do give you this awesome pretzel bread with a delicious mustard dipping sauce. The bread was warm and soft and I could have made a meal just out of the bread! For an appetizer, we started with the Chocolate Bacon, which came with fried Brussels Sprouts and Creamy Cheddar Grits. The bacon and grits were delicious and the Brussels Sprouts weren't too bad, but I've had better. Not sure why it was called Chocolate Bacon though--we didn't really notice the chocolate flavor. For our entrees, I went with the Shortrib Sandwich and my wife had the Shrimp & Grits. A fork and knife were pretty much needed to eat my sandwich! Lovely flavor and the short rib was so tender. Combined with the fried onion rings and a toasted onion brioche bread, and it was simply delicious. My wife said her Shrimp & Grits were some of the best she had. Our boys just went with the mac-and-cheese and a hot dog with fries. For dessert, my wife went with the chocolate creme brûlée. This was the first time I've seen this in a chocolate variety but she said it was really good. Definitely worth checking out if you are staying at the Hershey Lodge. They ruined my Mother's Day dinner plans refusing to accommodate my 3 month old in a stroller or car seat.

My wife and I had a 6:30 reservation at Revelry about a week ago. It was a Friday night and it wasn't a packed restaurant. My wife ordered the scallops ($48). Two of them were inedible due to sand. I ordered the burger and fries. Fries were room temp at best when they came out and most were soggy. The burger itself had about 1/2 tsp of sauce on it and was very dry. The server asked how are food was literally 1 minute after he put the plates on the table. We didn't see him at our table again until 10 minutes after we were completely finished. My wife's empty drink glass sat on the table for at least half of the meal with no one asking if she'd like something else. Dessert (cheesecake) tasted great...we took it to go...but the slice was about the size of 2 twix bars stacked on top of each other (not exaggerating) for $11. For a place that's obviously trying to be "high-end" with their pricing and portions...our experience was anything but. Over $125 dinner for 2 and feel like it was a complete waste of time/money. read more

Hershey needs to decide if this is an upscale restaurant (the prices certainly are) or a family diner. Food was good but servings small. Drinks ok. My husband took me for my 60th birthday. I feel like I need to leave 2 reviews for Revelry 1 as a local and 1 for travelers So if you're traveling and visiting the Hershey Lodge - you're in luck, everything is here, you don't have to go anywhere outside your hotel. Revelry has great food and a great bar - the people here are super nice and you couldn't ask for much more when you are on vacation or traveling for work or whatever brings you here. I've had to travel for work a lot and finding decent food and drink can be a minefield!! - and who wants to be driving around a strange place? - if you even have a car! - Hershey Lodge has just about everything you might want and need under one roof - everything is really good, to great - it's very expensive! - but sometimes when you are traveling it's worth it to know you have something really great right where you are staying. So if you are a local.... - Revelry does have good food and a great bar and the people here are really super nice, however it is really expensive here - I feel it is just too expensive for what you get. The place is LOUD and CROWDED - there are kids of all ages running all over the place - people coming in the restaurant in all manners of dress, there were a bunch of young men came in in shorts t-shirts and ball caps in the dead of winter - strollers everywhere! Which is fine, if you understand this going in - it's a very, very busy hotel restaurant and bar, emphasis on HOTEL - with an indoor water park!!. You are going to pay upwards of 60 bucks for a single ala carte steak - and when you get up to go to the bathroom you will fight you way through roaming bands of children and probably have the odd stroller roll up on the back of your heels, not exactly a quiet romantic or relaxing environment. The service was painfully slow, painfully - however the people were just wonderful, all of them. Just FYI - my wife does not approve of this review, lol - she loved it here despite the obvious. Stayed at Hershey Lodge and my husband was hankering some steak. We decided to try Revelry. A late dinner at 9pm, we ordered one appetizer the brussel sprouts with balsamic, goat cheese and Granny Smith apples. HUGE portion (more than enough for 3 people) husband ordered the NY strip, Ibgotbthe lamb chops and my son the vegetable risotto with shrimp. We also got 2 sides corn casserole and bourbon cheese mashed potatoes. The sides were VERY plentiful. A little bit of a wait but once the food came out. Yummy yum yum. So much left over (except for my husband's steak) we had to take the rest up to the room. No room for dessert!! read more
