I was a little hesitant to try this place. The food here can be pricey. But the overall quality is decent. And most dishes are worth it. Atmosphere is pleasant and service was attentive and professional. It is a great place to go with your friends or date place. they had a nice cocktail menu. I'd recommend this place. Not something I could do regularly

Theo's is a bustling American bar and grille located near the Capital City Mall in Camp Hill, PA. Theo's has a large bar area, multiple dining rooms, and outdoor seating. The family-friendly menu features basic American favorites including steaks and seafood. The beer list is a decent selection of craft and domestic brews. Why three stars? Well, Theo's had some serious staffing issues when I visited on a recent Friday night. The large bar was staffed by a single bartender who was responsible for both the main bar as well as all drink orders from the many tables in this large restaurant. No second bartender and no bar back to assist with orders or clearing/cleaning the bar itself. That is just crazy on a Friday evening. The bartender, Lacey, worked very hard to keep up and was still extremely friendly. Five stars for Lacey, three stars (or less) to Theo's for putting her in a near impossible position. Despite those unfortunate circumstances, I like what I saw enough to eventually give Theo's another try and will be happy to update my review after a future visit. I recognize that many restaurants are having staff shortages these days and I hope that Theo's will soon fill their staff gaps.

Five of us descended on Theo's for lunch and had a good meal. The pace could maybe have been a little speedier but the food was good and the staff did take good care of us. I chose the buffalo chicken salad, which was a chicken breast that was sliced and tossed in a spicy "buffalo" sauce and served on top of a house greens salad with bacon and a boiled egg. The blue cheese was in a side pot and was very good - several large pieces of blue cheese in there. The salad was full of "stuff" and not all lettuce at all. Probably better for dinner but we did okay for lunch. [Review 10392 overall, 159 of 2019.]

Really nice space with option for indoor and outdoor seating. We went for lunch although it would be a great bar to watch some sports at, big bar with several high quality TVs. Food and service are wonderful but loses a star for value. I think their prices are a little on the high end, but we are coming out of the pandemic and a lot of restaurants have had to increase prices. Anyways highly recommend the french onion soup and calamari. Crab cakes were also good but on the small side, still rather filling (not pictured is the coleslaw bc we took ours to-go) Theos would be a great place for group dinners or bigger parties. Go check them out!

Lobster/ crab ravioli in pesto sauce. Insanely good.

We decided to take a drive in search of something tasty, and our adventure led us to Brewhouse Grill in Camp Hill, PA. From the outside, it looked like a small neighborhood bar. But once we stepped inside, the vibe completely changed. Bright lights, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lively bar area. The hostess greeted us right away, which was a relief since my hunger was hitting hard. We checked out the specials and ordered two classics: a flatbread pizza and a Philadelphia cheesesteak. As an Eagles fan, I couldn't resist testing how a Harrisburg area cheesesteak stacked up against Philly's best. And if you know me, you know I take pizza seriously think ninja turtle levels of dedication.‍ The pizza came out crisp and well-done, but the cheese was a bit skimpy, leaving me wanting more. The cheesesteak, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark either. Luckily, a cold beer and the friendly staff helped balance out the disappointment. What impressed me most was the atmosphere. Brewhouse Grill works for just about anyone: families looking for a quiet meal, sports fans wanting to catch a game at the bar, or summer crowds enjoying the covered deck with a DJ. That summertime setup sounds like a whole different experience, and I'm eager to come back when the weather warms up. Final Verdict: The food didn't wow me, but the service and atmosphere make Brewhouse Grill worth checking out especially in the summer when the deck and DJ bring the place to life.

The cocktails alone are worth the visit. The bartenders really know their craft, and the alcohol selection, including local beers, is solid. My only real issue is brunch. Every time I've visited after 12 p.m. (brunch is served until 2 p.m.), there's been a problem--either they're no longer taking food orders, the kitchen is backed up with a 45-minute wait, or they've simply run out of food. It comes off unprofessional and could definitely be handled better. I've noticed this becoming a growing trend during brunch service in general, and while some people suggest arriving as early as 10 a.m. for the best experience, consistency matters. If you're offering brunch, you should be properly staffed and prepared to serve guests throughout the full service window. Period. It's especially frustrating when you've traveled specifically to experience their culinary offerings and hit a wall like that. Overall, if you're looking for a spot that feels like a New York-style dive bar with elevated drinks and solid food--if you catch it at the right time--this place delivers. Just plan strategically if brunch is your goal.

The Review: Men in the Kitchen…read more My reviews are different. I do not announce myself or tell anyone. I am here to do a review!! It was a rainy Sunday, and I was working up a hunger while driving Uber for content. I went to three different spots before I finally found the place I should've gone to first. The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are so good that I want to find another establishment just like it, but so far--at least on this day--nothing in the area can beat it. I don't know why I treat this restaurant like a good wife that a man might constantly cheat on but always returns to. I'm not saying that I actually cheat; I'm just using that for context! So, I found myself once again at Two Men in the Kitchen. Since it was Easter Sunday, they offered a buffet or a special limited menu. There was fish and chicken wings available, and I chose the wings. Since I don't eat meat often, I asked for their "House Sauce," and it is by far amazing. I paired the wings with the 3-cheese baked mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I went for the sides first because I wanted to save the best for last--I already knew that house sauce was going to be incredible, especially on the chicken and greens eggrolls they have. The mac & cheese was great; it had a crunchy outside yet remained soft in the middle, and the cheese pull was amazing. The sweet potatoes were definitely homemade; I could tell because every slice was a different cut, which I appreciate because it proves they didn't come out of a can. Now for the best part: the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly--neither overdone nor underdone, with no pink on the inside. Everything was pure. I did happen to taste a little bit of Old Bay on the wings, so I asked the chef if that was part of the secret seasoning. He said no, so maybe someone slipped some in by accident, but it didn't stop me from indulging. I also ordered one of their house special drinks--a Hennessy and rum cocktail. It was a very pretty drink, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of Hennessy. Personally, I think it tastes like house keys or licking a brass knob when you're a kid. On my scale, the drink was a 2 out of 5; I just don't think rum and cognac should mix, but that's just my opinion. The atmosphere was amazing and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely visit this place again and again, although sometimes it is hard to tell if they are open because of the heavily tinted windows. For those who know the area, this is the old firehouse in Harrisburg. I was told that on the weekends, they clear some tables to create a dance floor, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of bar seating and booths, making it a kid-friendly environment. The only thing I don't like--which applies to every restaurant on 2nd Street--is that it's very hard to find parking. The Scale * Location & Parking: (3/5) * Staff & Engagement: (4/5) * Food Consistency: (4.7/5)

You have to do it online, via text, and it won't allow you to purchase any time less than an hour. Kinda sucks for those carrying out. Totally not the restaurant's fault though. I got the jerk quesadilla without the jerk ranch sauce. They don't serve this or their regular quesadilla with salsa or pica de gallo so it does taste a little bland. The jerk flavor isn't coming thru for me. It's a little disappointing but it's also just a quesadilla so I don't expect much. I'm not deterred though. I'd be interested in trying more on the menu. It seemed like a cozy place to sit and eat. I'd also like to eat there on my next visit. I'll update my review when I do.
