salted caramel mocha chino
Ashley D.

As soon as you pull up, the aesthetics are pleasing. The layout inside is nice and comfortable. Our server was very attentive. I wasn't a fan of the food. We ordered a salted caramel mocha chino and it tased like hot chocolate. Also ordered avocado toast to split and the avocado was like a purée drenched in oil. We each had one piece and left the rest. I ordered a Nashville hot chicken wrap and chips with salsa. The homemade salsa had a nice flavor. My wrap had zero spice to it which was very disappointing. My friend ordered the cheesecake strawberry French toast and I tried that, it was good! Nice and sweet if that's what you're looking for. For me personally, it was a one time experience.

This quickly became one of my favorite brunch spots! You can get on the waitlist from their app. Highly recommend doing so, as it's always packed. Ample parking in the lot, though it gets full during peak hours. The servers here genuinely seem happy to be there and can provide recommendations from the menu. There's also a seasonal menu to choose from. I always get the GOAT omelet because it's that good. Highly recommend their chai lattes too. Very clean restaurant, and a fun spot to meet up with friends.

Turning Point just opened in Camp Hill (taking over the old Friendly's spot on Market Street) and the hype has been real. The parking lot was jammed for weeks, so I finally braved the traffic circus for a Friday lunch meeting. Inside is bright, open, and a little "farmhouse chic" -- fireplace, plenty of seating, and a big "Love You So Brunch" sign that made me chuckle. Despite the crowd, we were seated right away and our server was on point. Menu has the classics -- pancakes, waffles, sandwiches -- but the seasonal Clawsome Summer specials won me over. Snow crab? Say less. I ordered the Seaside Toast: multigrain toast piled with smashed avocado, generous chunks of snow crab, hot pink pickled onions, lemon zest, and everything bagel seasoning. It was a flavor home run -- sweet crab + acidic onions + creamy avo = yes, please. Came with cheesy scrambled eggs (don't judge me, I'm a child at heart) and greens with a citrus dressing that was tangy-sweet and surprisingly addictive. Only downside? The $22 price tag. Great if it's a work lunch on someone else's dime, but steep for a casual brunch spot when I could support a locally owned café instead. Still, worth checking out at least once if you're curious -- especially if you're a fellow snow crab fan.

We came to turning point around 1pm in a Saturday with our child. It was only about a 5 minute wait which is super lucky because they are usually very busy. Our server was super nice, and brought us everything we asked for. The environment was very modern and cozy, fit for a perfect brunch. Our food was great as well. We do however, think it is overpriced. We don't think food should be that expensive especially for bunch.

On a spur-of-the-moment stop for breakfast, I'm really glad I decided to come in. I ordered the BASIC SKILLET--a skillet of potatoes topped with cheddar jack cheese and two eggs cooked my way, served with an English muffin. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The potatoes and cheese were especially flavorful and really stood out. I also ordered coffee, which was just as enjoyable. They provide a large coffee pitcher for refills, and I ended up having about four cups. The waitress even brought me a to-go cup so I could take some with me, which was a nice touch. The waitress did an excellent job, especially considering she was handling about seven tables right when they opened. Overall, it was a great experience. The restaurant was bright, clean, and welcoming, and I'd definitely stop in again.

It's nice to have a new breakfast/brunch/lunch place in Camp Hill. We stopped mid morning after a doctors appointment. They decor is a brave and welcoming. We were waiting on immediately. We decided to stick with the Waters. My mom ordered the granola topped waffle with fresh fruit, and a strawberry purée. She really enjoyed it, but felt the granola may not be necessary. I ordered the omelette which was to have spinach, goat cheese, bacon, and sun-dried tomatoes. The side option is either a salad or breakfast potatoes. I went with the potatoes. When our server brought out our meals, I did not have potatoes. I asked if they came on the side. He said yes, he will get them and it was another five minutes until he brought me the potatoes. I'm pretty sure that I had feta cheese instead of goat cheese on my omelette as it was hard and crumbly and on the top and typically goat cheese is on the inside. The potatoes were delicious and we took them home to heat up for another time. It seemed like nothing was coming out of the kitchen. It was a good 20 to 30 minutes to get our food. I understand they are new and it definitely will not prevent me from coming back. I'd like to come back and give it another try as I'm excited to have a new restaurant in town

I met some coworkers here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We had to wait for about 10-15 minutes which isn't bad at all. The restaurant is spacious and has a farm house vibe. I ordered the "Kale to the King" juice which has spinach, lemon, apple, and kale. It was nice, light, and refreshing. For my lunch, I got the Chop Chop Salad (without onions and bacon). I also ordered the peppercorn ranch on the side. Okay this salad was so good!!! I'm definitely a fan. I will be back the next time I'm in town!

Cute restaurant for breakfast and brunch! Friendly staff and good menu options. Cold brew was delicious. Prices were fair as well. Was a nice stop while passing through the area.

Turning Point is always busy, but getting seated is typically quick and effortless. Now trying to find a parking spot is another story. Drop someone off to grab a table while you circle the parking lot waiting for a spot to open up. Once inside, the restaurant is bright and vibrant. Has a family style atmosphere with plenty of room and seating. French press options are top notch. I went with the Jamaican Blue Mountain blend which was so good. Full body and bold flavor which I loved. Others at my table had the Winter Wonderland (seasonal) which is very good too. Had a hazelnut, sweet taste and the Ethiopian Guji which is nutty and earthy. More on the mild side, but is still very good. I had the Fire-Roasted Veggie Quesadilla with a side of chips and salsa. Ask for extra salsa for the quesadilla. The dish was absolutely fantastic. The veggies were so fresh and perfectly grilled to perfection. Nice portion and reasonably priced. Staff are super friendly and helpful in assisting anyone with questions or suggestions. Great experience other than the parking issue.

4 stars for food. 3 stars for service. Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday. Consideration for this being a new location, but we waited 40 minutes after being quoted 20-25. We spent a total of 2 hours here and we didn't eat slowly. However, the staff were very nice and professional. We were super hungry when we got our food so I forgot to take photos! Food: Excellent! French pressed coffee was excellent. My daughter's blueberry lemonade was excellent. I ordered the G.O.A.T. Omelette which was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the chicken pesto panini and loved it. Husband had the turkey club and said it was a 10/10! Potatoes were very good as well. Constructive criticism: I ordered soup but the server forgot it. Coffee was brought to the table but I wasn't offered cream (I had to wait for the server to come back to ask). Water in carafe was room temp. I had to ask for jam/jelly for my English muffin. Wait time for food took awhile which I am attributing to the larger parties that were being served at other tables. Wait time was double of what we were quoted when we arrived - we wouldn't have stayed if we knew if was a 40-45 min wait. All in all, as long as the servers become more seasoned and the cooks stay as good as they are and there is a better time estimation for waiting, then this place is golden. Very happy to have this establishment in Camp Hill!!

I've been here before, but I don't think I ever wrote a review…read more This time I came in to meet a friend for coffee and to talk through some business. That seems to fit the place well, because when I arrived there were clearly other business conversations happening at multiple tables. It feels like a popular spot for people to meet, work, and get things done, not just grab a drink and leave. I asked the staff if they could make a Mexican coffee. They were not sure at first, but once I explained it is essentially a chocolate mocha with a little cayenne pepper, they were willing to make it. It turned out great. The ambiance is solid. It is not overly noisy, and it is easy to have a conversation without raising your voice. The only downside is the seating layout, which feels more like a school cafeteria than a cozy coffee shop. It is functional, just not especially inviting. There is parking on site, but I can see it filling up quickly during peak times, with overflow going to nearby street parking. Overall, this is a dependable, non chain coffee spot that I would return to, especially for a business meeting or when I want a coffee I do not have to second guess in terms of preparation and consistency.

Taking classes here is great fun, a casual experience with your girls, or sometimes I've even double-dated with another couple. Mike Bouchter, from Boughter Woodshop, displayed his beautifully artisanal charcuterie boards. I purchased a beautiful cherry Boughter Woodshop heart-shaped wood board for my daughter. My only concern is that there is no list of all the different products used in the class. But that won't stop me from returning for another cooking class.

After Cinco de Mayo…read more It was a rainy day here in Harrisburg, PA. I took a job in Lancaster, but first, I needed my coffee--I think I'm addicted to it now! The day before, I had a great cup from Passenger, but today I stopped by Little Amps in downtown Harrisburg before hitting the road. The atmosphere was excellent; it reminded me of home in LA with the records playing, dim lighting, and vintage decor everywhere. I felt a bit torn, like one coffee house wanted me to stay and the other wanted me to leave, so I decided to "break myself in half" and visit both. After all, two of me is better than one! I highly rate Little Amps for the scenery. The vintage look and the outdoor seating make you feel like you're in Manhattan or Paris, giving you the vibe of three places all in one. If you haven't been to any of these spots yet, save your money and just visit Little Amps to get that "all-in-one" experience. The staff is very inviting and they do offer bagels, though I have to be honest: they aren't quite as good as New York bagels. I know New York bagels inside and out, and they know me!
