Was seated almost immediately. The wait for the server was about 10 minutes-unacceptable. The drinks came fairly quickly but the wait for the food , longer than any other location I've visited-about 20-25 minutes. I ordered a turkey burger with no cheese. Burger came to the table with cheese. So I had to wait again for a new sandwich. Other than the wait times, the food was still good. 9/10 would recommend. Forgot to take a pic of the turkey burger

I asked our server for suggestions and, of the half dozen dishes he said he enjoys, I went with The Chickichanga. It isn't what I typically gravitate towards, but was a great experience. The dish was a melange of flavors and textures; it reawakened how much I miss the use of hatch green chilies. The spices in the chorizo and on the chicken were tempered by avocado and sour cream. There was an unexpected pop of citrusy acidity in the chickichanga's sauce that cut through what may have been too heavily unctuous without it. The potatoes were texturally delightful. They were soft inside, floury, with crispy edges on some of them and bits of cooked onion. There was a small fruit cup with red grapes, sliced strawberries, and bits of pineapple, none of which had the tinny taste or soft texture you sometimes get in mid-December. My spouse had a holiday special, carne asada breakfast tacos served with a side of black beans. The beans had pico de gallo on top. He had no complaints about his food, after he removed some of the pickled red onions. The steak was toothsome and well seasoned. He loved the corn tortillas. We both had coffee & water. Our server left the insulated coffee carafe after filling our cups and said to let him know if we needed more. The carafe maintained a good temperature for enjoying the coffee. All of the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was busy with it feeling rushed. This location is very busy, but still good for groups as there was a table of ladies doing a gift exchange during their lunch across the dining room.

First Watch is always a fantastic experience! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of healthy and hearty options to choose from. Everything tastes made-to-order, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole visit even better. Whether you're there for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, First Watch consistently delivers great food and great service. Highly recommend!

Ummmm, enjoyed The BEC. Bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwich was delicious! It costed $14.49. Service was good. The restaurant buzzed with lively conversations and happy people.

A group of 7 of us came here for brunch and they squeezed us in a booth. The decoration was urban farm. The menu was fun and we were excited and torn about what to order because there are so many good things to try. We ordered the green juice & fresh pressed orange juice. The waitress quickly brought our drinks then took our order. I decided to go for the frittata. Everything came quickly and all my friends thoroughly enjoyed the food. This is a popular place that didn't take reservations. Be expected to wait. But for a delicious brunch, this should be on your list!

I took my sister to First Watch this week, and we ordered a seasonal Spring Lavendar French Toast dish to share. The flavor was just right and paired nicey with the complementary coffee. The interior was vibey and our waiter was friendly. We loved the lavender cream on top, not too sweet with the perfect texture. My usual go-to dish is the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, so I definitely want to take my sister back here so that she can try it! Highly recommend this place!

Coda Rouge, I commend you for a superb Valentine's Day dinner…read more I've experienced lunch at Coda Rouge a few times, but this special occasion, the five-course prix fixe aphrodisiac menu, was next-level dining. Why? The opportunity to experience the live painting artwork by Bryan "Prolifik" Hickman, artist and creator of the Tuskegee Airman mural on the side wall of Coda Rouge. The added ambiance of Singer's Lounge, Phebe West, singing lovely, familiar tunes. And last but not least, the intimacy of meeting Coda Rouge chef, Sachiko Tashiana, who trained under renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. And all hands on deck from the chef's family, who helped make the evening special. Finally, the presentation of each of the five courses and the food was superb. If you have never experienced Coda Rouge, you must add it to your short list of Harrisburg fine dining experiences.

My server Cricket, was friendly but did approach the table initially with "what are you having" no hello or greeting or suggestions. Although I had asked for lemon with my water since tap water often varies in taste it was served without. Salmon full of flavor but a little dry, prosciutto wrap was very dry, it was served on a large portion of delicious risotto that had asparagus in it, the menu had made it sound like the asparagus was separate from the risotto. Being on a meal plan and watching my weight I would have appreciated it being served separately because I eat the healthy items first. I would typically eat all the risotto, but I did, the tase was exquisite! Bred was hard, dry and had no flavor Buffet, not offered or on the menu Hostess did take beverage orders for a young group that occupied a number of tables from a few tables away they had coupons for the buffet added to the high levels of disruptive noise in dining room. This went on throughout my stay because they were coming in at different times. Young group were using speaker phones in the dining room for the cost of the entree at $23 that was disappointing. Apparently the same venue being used for two very different atmospheres from cafeteria to a fine dining. The very small bar is located in a separate room at the entrance and has terrible acoustics because mid dinner it was so loud it was annoying.

After Cinco de Mayo…read more It was a rainy day here in Harrisburg, PA. I took a job in Lancaster, but first, I needed my coffee--I think I'm addicted to it now! The day before, I had a great cup from Passenger, but today I stopped by Little Amps in downtown Harrisburg before hitting the road. The atmosphere was excellent; it reminded me of home in LA with the records playing, dim lighting, and vintage decor everywhere. I felt a bit torn, like one coffee house wanted me to stay and the other wanted me to leave, so I decided to "break myself in half" and visit both. After all, two of me is better than one! I highly rate Little Amps for the scenery. The vintage look and the outdoor seating make you feel like you're in Manhattan or Paris, giving you the vibe of three places all in one. If you haven't been to any of these spots yet, save your money and just visit Little Amps to get that "all-in-one" experience. The staff is very inviting and they do offer bagels, though I have to be honest: they aren't quite as good as New York bagels. I know New York bagels inside and out, and they know me! Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!
