There is something to be said for consistency. CC's is not gourmet by any stretch, but it's good, down home cooking at a good price. Consistent food...consistent service. I like that nothing changes. When it isn't broke, don't fix it. The ambiance isn't going to win any awards...but it's your typical hometown diner. It's our breakfast go to when the wife wants to grab some grub.

Food here is very good I've come here on Fridays with a group of 5-10 for breakfast and the food has always been hot and the waitress does a great job and the prices are reasonable.

The owners are very rude and they don't treat their employees with respect they leave cooked bacon out over night then put it back on the grill "to make it more crispy" is what the owner ash told me! They have rodents inside the dining room and have seen them run across the room! Also the dessert cooler doesn't work properly and went to order a piece of cake but there was mold on it

a sign that says, good food eat served here

Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!

The review for the Greek salad was that it was one of the worst tasting Greek salads my brother has ever had, despite the attempt at some flare with phyllo on top. My second salad was equally uninspired. We didn't bother with anything else admittedly so perhaps their salad game is just very very weak, or a bad day in the kitchen. Hard to say; but wouldn't be bothering with their food again compared to hunting around.

Nothing was wrong per se, but Husband and I just didn't love it. My in-laws, who we were with, have attended meals at Luna multiple times and seem to enjoy everything on the menu. First impressions are what you would hear by word of mouth, right? Maybe that started it for me? We've heard everything from "Amazing food but slow service" , "Don't go hungry", to "Terrible food & service is great". I went in with no expectations. We made reservations. The process is simple and easy through Open Table. We received multiple text messages about our reservation. Our table was ready at arrival. Service was great! Cheery, happy server who did a great job checking in on us and accommodating all requests including a not on the menu specialty drink. Food came out way faster than I had expected from what I had heard from previous patrons. There was barely time between soup & salad and our main dinner arrival which is ok because I didn't eat the soup. The bread placed on the table felt and smelled fresh. Dinner came out very hot with lovely presentation. Unfortunately, it just didn't have much flavor. It was bland to me & the Hubs. I think this might be an American thing because we are so used to salt and strong flavors when we dine out, however, the food was cooked to perfection. It was even better as leftovers at home where I added Italian seasoning mix and a touch of salt. The restaurant itself felt small but inviting. It was a bit loud. It's decorated so lovely, though. It felt like we were in a garden. It's handicap accessible with plenty of parking. I didn't use the facilities or take note of any other questions I usually see on here. As I always say, don't take our word for it go try it yourself!

A crabby dinner needed to happen...immediately! I recruited an adventure buddy and we made plans to meet at Grappling Crab Shack's creekside home base on a rainy Saturday evening. We arrived around 5pm, about an hour before closing, and thanks to the rain, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves! If you've never been, Grappling Crab Shack is a local family-owned business specializing in fresh Maryland blue crabs, gourmet crab cakes, seasonal seafood specialties, catering and a food truck that travels throughout the area. It's one of those hidden gems that feels like you've stumbled onto a local secret. Since it was our first visit, we decided to do what any reasonable seafood lovers would do....order basically everything! First up were the Crab Stuffed Deviled Eggs ($18 for six). Holy. Cow! These were TREMENDOUS! The filling was loaded with crab, each egg was topped with a little bit of bacon and they disappeared from the plate embarrassingly fast. If you visit Grappling Crab Shack and don't order these, I genuinely think you're making a mistake! Next came the Cajun Jambalaya ($10) with chicken, smoked sausage, tomatoes, trinity vegetables and Cajun spices. This was excellent. Smoky, flavorful, and carrying just enough heat to let you know it was Cajun without setting your face on fire. My adventure buddy never once reached for hot sauce, which says a lot! Then came the Cheesy Crab Bites ($15). These might actually be my favorite surprise of the evening. Homemade crab cake mix blended with mozzarella, cream cheese and garlic, rolled in panko and Old Bay, fried until golden and served with a house remoulade. I'd choose these over mozzarella sticks every single day of the week! The cheese pulls were absolutely glorious, and the remoulade added the perfect tangy finish. Finally, we tackled the Gourmet Crab Cake ($17). This thing was HUGE! Made with fresh Maryland blue crab, it was beautifully seasoned, perfectly cooked, and held together much better than several crab cakes I've had recently. I'm actually glad we skipped ordering it as a sandwich because the crab cake itself deserved to be the star of the show. Our total came to right around $60, and considering how much food we ordered, plus the leftovers we both brought home, I thought it was money well spent. We grabbed one of the covered tables out back overlooking the yard and listening to the creek rush by. Despite the rain, it was a really relaxing place to enjoy dinner. I can only imagine how nice it is on a sunny summer evening. The staff couldn't have been kinder, bringing everything out to us with smiles and making us feel right at home. This place is an absolute hidden gem and one of my favorite seafood spots to have checked out in the last few months! I'll definitely be back, preferably on a dry evening when I can fully enjoy the creekside setting. If you love crab, seafood, or just supporting awesome local businesses, don't sleep on Grappling Crab Shack. And whatever you do...order the deviled eggs!

I haven't visited the other one, but I imagine it should be similar to this new restaurant. The establishment feels like an integral part of the Park West "planned community," right at the entrance off S. Market Street. The menu offers much more than what they serve inside Giant, but the selections are (unfortunately) still limited to the garden variety we see at typical Chinese American takeout joints. Nevertheless, there are quite a few aspects that transcend the stereotypical: the signage appears trendy, and the interior feels current, providing a good vibe. It is absolutely a good idea to consume your takeout orders on premises. One particular dish on the menu did catch my eye: 辣子雞 (Hot & Spicy Chicken, $13). The Chinese name on the menu led me to expect a well-known, authentic Sichuan dish--you know, the kind where one-third of the plate is dry red chili peppers and the chicken chunks are crispy? Well, my inflated hope absolutely popped when I received my order. I literally went back to ask if they had given me the wrong dish because it looked exactly like Broccoli & Chicken. They reassured me that it was the correct dish, explaining that it was essentially Broccoli & Chicken but simply drizzled with hot chili sauce. They told me "Taipei Hot Chicken" was closer to what I was expecting. Oh well, at least the taste was on point--so long as I treated it as Broccoli with Chicken and added my own Buldak hot sauce. They offer combo meals during lunch hours between 11 am and 3 pm. Same prices as the regular entrees except you get less of the core dish but with choices of eggroll or soup. My only motivation to come back is try the "Taipei Hot Chicken" which is new and had not made it to their printed menu. 3.5 stars.

Tatiana herself greeted us and sat us at a perfect table in the corner where we could look out at the restaurant. The food matched the first impression - presentation was superb! We started with the appetizer of chicken meatballs - 6 delicious bites to share. Flavor was on spot and the white sauce sweet yet savory. Next cam our dinners. Each served with soup (Ukranian borscht), lovely mixed salad, and homemade dinner rolls - to die for! We started with the Ukranian Ice Tea - and first for me. And now a staple! It had a hint of fruit tones, not too sweet, very cold, and refreshing! I had 2 glasses. We ordered the Ukranian Stew which comes with Ukrainian rice (another fabulous staple - I will add this as an additional side dish to any ongoing visits we make, it's that good). The sauce on the stew was perfectly seasoned as well - with a hint of cardamom and perhaps cinnamon? It was a perfect blend of savory with hint of sweetness to compliment the chicken, chicken sausage, beef tips, vegetables, and more that made up the stew. The sauce was worthy of a spoon to ensure every morsel was consumed - with bread to wipe the bowl clean! The portion sizes are generous as well. The second entre was the Colosseum Tortellini Combo with chicken, chicken sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese tortellini all tossed in a Asiago Alfredo Marinera sauce. A other enjoyable dish. While we did not have dessert, the selections looked equally scrumptious! We will try the pumpkin cheesecake when we return. This is a family run business. Ash is the Chef, Tatiana runs the front if the house. They have a second floor dinkng space that can seat up to 50! Great spot for special event or party. Even Tatiana's mother participates with her dessert baking. Both Ash & Tatian were delightful. It was like being invited to a friend's home for a feast! Highly recommend trying. I know we will return to try numerous other items on the menu.
