I had a nice breakfast here today with my teenager. I had french toast with fruit topping and he had the Diamond steak breakfast special. Our server was provided outstanding customer service. The food came fast and was well prepared. Great reasonable prices.

Nice spot for breakfast with good food and very kind and friendly staff. I really liked the fresh blueberry pancakes. The food came out very quickly as well. A note that they put the total amount of the bill on the back of the check so you need to turn it over. The front of the check did not have the correct number and it was lower so we didn't know. Luckily we were moving slowly so they could let us know before we left! Recommended if in the area!

A solid choice for breakfast, this classic diner has the usual goodies and I stuck with exactly that, an omelette that was nicely loaded with ham and bacon and sausage. No veggies here, other than the sliced tomato I chose instead of home fries. I'm doing a keto diet and this is perfect. (The toast went on to my dining companion's plate.) Very nice portion, there's no way that this was just three eggs. Cooked properly and filling. Definitely would eat here again. [Review 10396 overall, 163 of 2019.]

Our server was fast friendly and A-tentative to her tables, food was prepared and delivered fast good as always. This was one of my dad's favorite places for breakfast.

I really enjoyed the variety of games to take to the table while you wait for your meal. I was blown away by the menu options and wish I could've tried everything! I went with the grilled chicken tacos, and the other two folks ordered huevos rancheros and a western omelette. I can only speak for the tacos but OMG. Having had my fair share of tacos, these are NEXT LEVEL. Perfectly grilled chicken with mozzarella, cilantro, onions, and lime! Who could ask for more!! The server even asked if I wanted a side of beef consommé, which I'm glad I said yes to. It was rich, savory, thick and perfectly paired even with the chicken option. I have highly recommended this spot to people since visiting and will continue to!

Rolled into Mechanicsburg Breakfast & Pizzeria at the extremely conventional breakfast hour…read moreof...5pm on a Friday. I was the only diner in the place, which honestly made me feel like I had just rented out a private pizza studio. Bonus: plenty of free parking right out front because it's tucked into a little strip mall. Before I even ordered, the menu caught my attention--an eclectic mashup of pizza and tacos, with breakfast versions of both served all day long. It's honestly the kind of menu you'd expect to stumble upon in a dream where the universe says, "Go ahead, choose joy." I originally planned to be "responsible" and just grab a slice to test the waters, but they didn't have any slices ready and would've had to make an entire pizza just for me. That felt like a sign from the Universe to stop lying to myself. If they were firing up the oven anyway, why not go big? So I took the cosmic hint and ordered their semi-Instagram-famous Mexican Breakfast Pizza: eggs, chorizo, mozzarella, cheddar... a 10" "personal" pizza (their wording, not mine) for $14. Twist my arm. Drinks live in the cooler by the door and you just grab whatever you want and pay at the end. As I was mid-debate between soda and water, the guy behind the counter popped out from behind the curtain and said, "Hey, since you're getting a breakfast pizza, if you want juice... orange, cranberry, apple... you can have it!" Sir. Apple juice is basically the secret key to my heart. SOLD. He also mentioned they have games and coloring books available--apparently dominoes is the crowd favorite here. Unexpected and charming. A little sign on my table caught my eye: "If you love it, leave a nice review." Challenge accepted. This place was already earning every star. Placed my order at 5:02, snagged a seat by the window to watch the sunset fade and the traffic chaos whirl by. The sign on the wall said "GOOD vibes, GREAT flavors," and let me tell you: an accurate mission statement. At 5:20, my pizza emerged in all its glory--and it. was. stunning. The crust hit that sweet middle ground between thin and deep dish: sturdy, doughy, beautifully crisped on the edges, and wonderfully yeasty. The eggs-to-cheese ratio was perfection, and the chorizo? A knockout. Spicy, chunky, far more personality than the usual breakfast-pizza sausage situation. I ate 1.5 slices and boxed up the rest, which will easily feed me for another three days because, yes, I believe in leftovers as a lifestyle. As I was leaving, the man behind the counter introduced himself--Sebastian--and he had been nothing but attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. Service like that sticks with you. Total damage: $22.26 including tip. For great food, even better service, and days of leftovers? That's what I call winning. I'll definitely be back--probably at another totally normal breakfast hour.

Coda Rouge, I commend you for a superb Valentine's Day dinner…read more I've experienced lunch at Coda Rouge a few times, but this special occasion, the five-course prix fixe aphrodisiac menu, was next-level dining. Why? The opportunity to experience the live painting artwork by Bryan "Prolifik" Hickman, artist and creator of the Tuskegee Airman mural on the side wall of Coda Rouge. The added ambiance of Singer's Lounge, Phebe West, singing lovely, familiar tunes. And last but not least, the intimacy of meeting Coda Rouge chef, Sachiko Tashiana, who trained under renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. And all hands on deck from the chef's family, who helped make the evening special. Finally, the presentation of each of the five courses and the food was superb. If you have never experienced Coda Rouge, you must add it to your short list of Harrisburg fine dining experiences.

The service was prompt, friendly, and kind. The suggestions about fruit for the waffle were generous and helpful. It's different to get my little one to eat anything when we go out to eat & adding additional fruit & whipped cream helped get him to try the waffle. He was not happy with the syrup. I'm not sure if maple syrup is an option. Maybe we'll ask about that next time. My eggs were perfectly cooked. The sausage links had a nice flavor & great "snap". The tater tots were crisp on the outside & soft inside. The booths have enough space between them & high enough sides to feel separation between diners and focused into your own party. You entered into a very barren space up front that felt completely unfinished, and then went to the rear of the restaurant in a completely separate room to be sat. In general, the food was ok...but nothing special. It's a diner. There are several of them within just a few miles. There is nothing about this place to set it apart from any of the others...except it is the closest to my house. A few drawbacks: -most of the breakfast meals came with homefries OR toast...not both. And if you wanted to get the potatoes and order a side of toast, it was grossly overpriced. -I received the wrong meal. Turns out the waitress ordered it wrong, wasn't the kitchen's fault. In her defense, she did give me a discount on our bill. -the entire restaurant just had an "unfinished" feel to it. I didn't feel like we were sitting in a dining room. It was just a bit weird to me.
