This is my all time favorite Vietnamese Restaurant! I have been eating here for the past 3 years, it's my boyfriend's and his family favorite place as well (they have been eating here for longer than I have). Coming here is our favorite part of most Sunday mornings! His favorite dish is the Special pho! Mine and his mom's favorite appetizer are the grilled shrimp spring rolls. Just delicious! Accommodating staff, amazing flavors and good portions of pho. Not a very big place but made to feel welcome. I cannot eat anything other than chicken and they will specially make chicken spring rolls for me. And to top it, they're the best ones I've had in a long time in the Harrisburg/West Shore area. Definitely need to stop in. Only complaint I have is that don't make their tapioca long enough before adding to their bubble tea, I'd suggest this before ordering. Holy cow - I don't know how I've lived in Camp Hill for 2 years without stumbling upon this gem. I will preface this by saying I absolutely love Vietnamese food, especially Bun Bo Hue (spicy pork and beef soup). I was spoiled with amazing mom and pop Vietnamese restaurants in Florida and have been struggling to find that here in PA. Well, I finally did. We started off with the fried shrimp rolls, which were amazing - literally just wonton wrapped shrimp that are fried. 10/10 option for someone like me who doesn't love egg rolls or spring rolls. We got a banana smoothie and strawberry milk tea with popping boba. Both were 10/10. My husband was in heaven with his smoothie. We got 4 different entrees because we couldn't pick just one each. I got the bun Bo hue, which is traditional with a pork knuckle inside. I don't care for the knuckle meat, but I think it's important for flavoring the broth. The sliced meat was heaven and the broth was actually spicy on its own. The noodles were perfect. I was shocked at how good it was after (unsuccessfully) trying to find a good version of it at other local restaurants. My husband got the seafood pho, which was HUGE and full of seafood and noodles. He normally has to add extra protein to his meals, but was happy with how much was in his soup without ordering extra shrimp. We also got the pork bahn mi to share. The pork is insanely good. The banh mi was huge and overflowing with meat. Finally, we got shrimp lo mein to share. We love that there's bean sprouts in it, which isn't something we found at any other places! It was also flavorful and full of shrimp. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong here. We had great service and the prices were amazing for how much we ordered and the quality of the food. The inside is quaint and they play good music. I think this easily just became one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I'm already planning my next visit!! read more

Came here because pho7spice was closed. Prices are a bit cheaper, portions are similar. For a rainy day pho kick, this place helped curb my pho cravings. My kids liked their pho special and the egg roll. I enjoyed my spring roll- the peanut sauce was good! Overall, service was poor, but it was one server for the whole place, so can't complain- she was very nice otherwise. We were going to order banh mi's to go... but... cleanliness... oh noes... bathroom is as dirty as a Chinese restaurant and there were bugs crawling around... would definitely reconsider coming here after witnessing that after my meal. Parking: limited parking, but there is parking in the back for other businesses but they're closed on the weekends so fine to park there. read more

Food was not good but decided to stick it out since we were already there. I noticed my wife had not touched her food and it was the same as when they brought it out. She responded that it was not good and was nasty. That and the tea they brought out which the bottom contents at the bottom tasted old, something never experienced at other places. I communicated to one of the staff that my wife had not eaten any of the food or drink and the staff response was "Would you like me to bring something to box it up?". "After" I said something about how rude that was and that I could see if she ate any of it but it looked the same way since they gave it to her, then they tried to apologize and blame it on their English while still blaming us saying "we didn't ask them what was good their to eat and she did not use the sauce they had with it". I paid for all the food but left it there and the staff with a smirk as ringing me up said "You said you just want to pay and leave". It was obvious they were upset and didn't want to "take a loss". Did not offer another item and only offered to taken off after being offensive and I said just please give me the receipt so I could pay and leave. read more

I did a "create your own" pho with chicken and chicken broth. The flavor of the broth was amazing. I wasn't a big fan of the chicken though. It was cut too thick and I couldn't really bite into it. My sister ordered the plain pho with chicken broth and my friend ordered the special pho which has beef in it. They both loved it. I don't really like clear spring rolls but my sister ordered some and I had a bite. They were really good! The place is small & was pretty crowded while we were there. Service is good. read more

Oh man. I'm so grateful this place exists and it's near my home. I just visited for the first time yesterday and they create magic in the kitchen. I didn't know that had bubble tea until I picked up my to go order and quickly glanced at the menu. They had almondmilk which made my heart so happy!! The bubble tea is the best tea I have ever had. It's just the right amount of sweetness. Most of the bubble teas I've had are so sweet it's sickening. This is the place I will go to for all of my bubble tea cravings. The black pearls were soo delicious!' Its not like any pearl ive ever had!! But the pho was the show stopper. My usual pho place was closed so I looked on Yelp and saw this place and I was not disappointed. I lvoe that when you get your pho to go they separate the noodles and freshly cooked veggies from the pho so when you get home you mix the ingredients yourself so they all stay fresh. GENIUS!!! I can't wait to come back here. Everyone was so nice there. Just ate here. The peanut sauce barely tasted of peanuts. It was too sweet, had no spice, and didn't have any visible peanut pieces. It seemed more like plain Hoisin sauce from a bottle. The Banh Mi was the biggest disappointment. Priced higher than others in the area but much smaller. Bummer. The grilled pork tasted ok, but the carrots and radish were rather bland and too sweet, there was no cilantro, there were no jalapenos, the cucumber was too thick, and there was lettuce (I never seen that before) and it was soggy. Before I ordered, I asked if the sandwich had pate (which is my favorite Banh Mi ingredient). The guy said there was. That was a lie. Instead, it was full of goopy mayonnaise. Ugh. The chicken pho was a bit confusing because what was supposed to be chicken looked and tasted strangely like turkey. Yes, they are both winged birds that seem to struggle with flight, but... The shrimp and pork egg roll was equally odd. Maybe I'm just not hip enough because in my head I saw a fried egg roll but this seemed to be the opposite. It may work for some palates but not mine. This place is in a nook and cranny, I actually drove past it, then had to do a U turn. The best place to eat, anywhere you can find a book and cranny place, this is one of those places, if you are in the area, I would recommended this place, it's nice, quaint and not so noisy. I love the ambiance, the pictures on the wall, the tv is on but not so loud, the fact that they come by and ask if you need anything. I don't like pho so I ordered a bowl but the tofu was so dry and the rolls too were just dry and lacking in flavor. PHO ready for some warm soupy goodness after a long drive back from Virginia. Visited my kid at college and then stopped to explore a cavern. Did a YELP search to find a cool place somewhere on the way home to stop for some good eats and boy was it! We wouldn't have lasted another two hours without nourishment and most certainly did not want fast food. First n foremost it's a small place in a strip mall but as soon as you walked in the waft of the broth consumed you. I immediately knew that this was going to be good. My partner and I both ordered the pho special. I missed it not having tripe but the entire bowl was pure yumminess. There was the size option of small or large. With the price difference of only a dollar of course we splurged- lol. He finished his entire bowl! I took my leftovers to go. I mean it's an automatic lunch the next day. He said he had all intentions of leaving some for just that concept ...lunch tomorrow. But given it's flavor he said it was so good he couldn't stop himself from eating and eating! Honestly this is a great find even though it's a way past the chain of bigger mainstream restaurants and the quieter end it was worth it. I've ordered twice now - spring rolls (5+, some of the best I've had thanks to the quality shrimp, and oogie googie peanut sauce! I liked them so much I ordered them again with my second order), a vermicelli bowl with pork (4, loved the crispy, flavorful pork, generous portion of noodles, did not like the fish sauce/dressing that came with it because of it's smell) and p06, rare beef and meatball pho (5, generous portion of everything! The meatballs had a grayish color but great flavor, broth was amazing). Other notes: I ordered this to-go, and the owner took great care with the packaging. The rare meat was individually wrapped and the fixings were bagged. Between the cute decor and inviting owner, I'm awaiting the day the restaurant can be fully open, so I can dine-in. Ate here before the whole COVID killed the vibe of eating out. I ordered a chicken skewer and it was heavenly. I enjoyed it very much. Just enough flavoring to make it enjoyable. I also ordered the chicken Pho. It came with plenty of chicken and veggies you could put in as well. The noodles were perfectly cooked and delicious. Everything about the meal was perfect and good. WOW what a great meal I just had at this place. I am let down a lot lately with paying for food, so much that I kind of don't like to even try any more. Either the food or the service is bad, rarely are they both great at the same time. THIS PLACE ROCKS. I had the fried egg noodle nest special, wife and daughter each had a pho bowl and I left feeling like I had food that had all of it going on, taste, portion, appearance, AND the service was off the charts. Super tasty and surprisingly cheap. We've had the bahn mi (our favorite), fried rice, beef stew (yum!), vermicelli bowls and summer rolls. All very good and I would recommend. I've had the pho too which was also good, I am obsessed with Pho 7 Spice's pho though and prefer it to Bamboo's.
