I'm no Pho expert, but this is by far the best Pho I've ever had- and it comes out speedily and fresh. Amazing quality food, no-nonsense service, clean restaurant, and tables stocked with everything you could need to enhance your Pho experience. We must have gone here every weekend near the end of my pregnancy- we even went 2 days before I went into labor! It's just such good food and perfectly hits the spot every time. read more

My wife and I have been going here since the day they opened and try to make it in every Saturday. I've tried Pho all over the world and I honestly haven't tried better. This is a family-owned business who treats their customers like family. Not many places make you feel as welcomed or appreciated as this place for your business. Always really clean, fresh ingredients, and genuine smiles from the staff. Our favorite place to eat out. I could never get tired of eating here. read more

Great Pho!!! Broth is legit. You can taste the love and time spent on this food. The staff is always friendly and patient with new to pho shoppers. Give them a shot, you won't be sorry. read more

Great service and food. It's not your usual restaurant in a very good way. It's modern, clean, and the cooking and beautiful landscapes of Vietnam on the TVs are a nice touch. read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere is great. I really like the look and feel of the shop. I came kind of late at night so I sort of get it, but I did feel a little like they didn't want us there. I ordered the fried egg rolls, and their house special pho. The broth had a good flavor, the tripe was very clean with good flavor, and the steak was great. I'm not sure if I didn't get any rare steak in my bowl, or if it took too long to get to me and wasn't rare by the time I got it but I didn't see any rare steak. I also feel like the tendon didn't have enough time to soften up and was kind of hard. Overall I would definately recomend this restaurant, but I really love pho so I had a couple opinions that might just nit picking. Please do try this place for yourself. read more

Service was fast and Friendly. Food was hot and delicious also had hot jasmine tea. The Pho broth was deep and delicious. read more

This place was just ok for me. It was super clean. The menu had a ton of options. But like the other reviews, having to pay for water was weird for me. The broth was also just so so for me. The service wasn't very good. They guy behind the counter was more interested in his anime video than for what was going on. If there aren't any other options, I would come here again. I was also disappointed at no toppings to be able to add to my phó. They added onions and scallions. There wasn't limes, bean sprouts, or basil available. read more

York Countians love Asian food, so I am happy the we have many options available. Pho Ngoc equals flavor. Just beautiful, aromatic taste throughout each dish. The Pho broth is solid... not overly sweet a perfect vessel for the noodles, proteins, & veggies. A surprise gem for me was the side rice. This sticky rice is so moist with a slight crunch. Add the homemade fish sauce and this could be a stand alone entree? The attention to quality and consistency is a blessing to diners. This restaurant is great for lunch or dinner. Sit down or carry out you will be satisfied! read more

I stopped in to Pho Ngoc and had a wonderful meal. The staff was wonderfully kind and fast. The other customers were other professional like people who were quiet and respectful to other guests. On the tv they were showing cooking demonstrations with Vietnamese chefs which I thought was so unique and fun to watch. I would absolutely refer my friends to this restaurant and will be back the next time I visit York! read more

Tried the pho dac biet and it was pretty good. Friendly staff . Good vibes overall. Would recommend

In my travels, I often judge the color of the broth when ordering pho. Look at this gorgeous color. There is no need to season a true Pho bowl. Friendly service and oh so clean restaurant. You won't go wrong with this place! read more

Went back to Pho Ngoc for some impromptu soup while out shopping. Still great food and service... but this time, we were seated right behind their shrine and the incense smell was overwhelming and really impacted our ability to enjoy our meal. read more

So good and will become a regular stop when we visit PA! The restaurant was exceptionally clean and parties were spread out well. I am a fan of summer rolls and they were spot on... not too chewy and peanut sauce had the right consistency with actual pieces of peanut sprinkled on top. My husband enjoyed his vermicelli. The strawberry smoothie was not very sweet, which is my preference. There was only one server and I felt bad for her. Can't wait to come back! read more

I'd like to start by listing the few positive aspects experience, so as not to seem unwilling to be fair. First, the dining room was very clean and second the service was exceptionally quick. That is the end of the positive here. This place is wildly overpriced. We ordered 2 bowls of pho and a drink (a tea, which despite being fairly expensive all ice.). Total price: $45. This is scammy levels of price gouging. This should isn't been a $30 meal at an expensive pho spot. Then when they brought out the saddest, skimpiest plate of basil, sprouts, jalapeños and limes the waiter picked up the hoisin and added a big squirt into one of our bowls, unsolicited. "It's good" he said after. At some point I asked if they had vinegar onions (hanh dam) and fairly run of the mill pho side ace he looked at me like I had three heads and made it slide like such a think had never and could never exist. This place is bad. Real bad. Avoid it. read more

This was our first time trying this restaurant. You can order ahead, through door dash, or dine in (it is a sit down). We started with two of their tea drinks that were fabulous. I would have perfected my Thai tea with boba to not have the ice as I didn't enjoy the boba. We had springs rolls which were so delicious we forgot to take a picture, but image colorful, fresh shrimp spring rolls! Delicious! Our main meals consisted of the seafood pho and the special pho. Personally I would not get the special pho as the meats it in are very odd- but the broth was delicious. Both myself and my mom were not able to finish our meals, so we got to go containers in which the owner filled up with more broth and noodles for us. It was not busy as we went around 11:10 and they had only opened at 11. We will definitely be back, wether in person or through delivery. read more

This was my first time trying pho, so I cannot compare it to any other pho restaurants. What I can say is that it was absolutely delicious, and I will be back! First off, the Vietnamese iced coffee was the best iced coffee I've ever had. The menu states that it is made with condensed milk, not creamer as indicated in an earlier review. Perhaps this change was made recently? The pho was also delicious. Huge portions...enough to eat leftovers for days! I had the brisket and meatball, and my friend had the chicken. Both were super! I highly recommend! read more

This may just be our new go to pho spot. The pho ga (chicken) is delicious. We also ordered the spring rolls(requested no pork) and they were freshly rolled and paired amazing with the dipping sauce. My only wish for this new go to spot, is a couple vegetarian/vegan options. All of the other pho spots offer vegetarian or vegan options on their menus. My favorite spot in Mechanicsburg offers a vegetable pho(veggie broth), and several other options that don't require any swaps/alterations to make it vegetarian or vegan. Regardless, I highly recommend giving this place a try-eat in, or carry out. read more

There really isn't much in the way of authentic, quality Asian fare in south central PA, but Pho Ngoc is as close to pho in California you can find in this area. I remember the broth tasting a little heavy on star anise, so it was a little sweeter than I'm used to. Nevertheless, the portions are generous. The bun thit nuong is also quite satisfying. My main gripe is that they don't make their ca phe sua da (Vietnamese coffee) with condensed milk, but rather they use creamer, which really isn't the same. It seems a lot of younger kids come in just for their boba drinks, but I hope eventually they come back for the food and get a taste for good Vietnamese food at some point. I've moved back to CA now, but if I ever find myself back in south central PA for whatever reason, this will be the place I go to. read more

Hello all, So I was hungry around lunch today and pho is my aways go to. I checked online for the menu and price, let's just say the pictures associated with this restaurant isn't accurate. A regular large bowl of pho (on the pictures) stated it was $11.99, but instead it was 15.99. Definitely wasn't happy with the false advertisement. Food was good though, yet overly priced. The gentleman that served me was rude, I definitely won't be returning. read more

If i could give this more than 5 stars, i would. Their food is always amazing. I come with my family and they always give us service with a smile. They are very kind and the restaurant is very neat. The soup is amazing and everything in general is the best. read more

Great Pho, fresh ingredients and the broth is delicious! Spring rolls are a great starter. Really like this place!

Came right from google to here because this place is that good. With Vietnamese restaurants you get good food sometimes amazing food but the service is typically lackluster. That is not the case at Pho Ngoc. We were greeted and seated immediately. The server was very friendly, and on top of all that the chef came out to check on us to ask how the food was. read more

One of the best new Vietnamese restaurant in York! The owners are so nice and every dish we tried so far is delicious. They definitely have an authentic Vietnamese menu. So, first time trying this spot, and we were on the hunt for our new go to Pho spot. This will definitely stay on the list! The broth (crucial for me) is SO good! The portions are large, and it comes with the usual goodies to add in if you like (who doesn't?) It is a VERY clean establishment as well. We were there at a bit of an odd time (4:30 ish) but I wanted to note that we were seated, waited on and had our soup all within less than 10 mins. Very, very yummy! Oh, also, it is BYOB if you want to bring a little something with you. read more
