New kids on the block. This restaurant just opened December 14, 2019. I tried a pho chicken soup that was the special of the day and was pretty good as well as filling. That was the only chicken I saw on the menu. Most meals came with steak, brisket, pork, or prawns. Not the best place for vegetarians or vegans. You can easily build your own bowls. The food is fine but there was only one person working the time we were there. They delayed taking our order even after we said we were ready. Our food did not all come out at the same time. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and we only got 4 waters, 2 kids waters and 2 adult waters but we never got refills even tho our waters were finished before our dinners even came. We got charged extra for meat but barely any meat was in the food to begin with. The man was cleaning tables while we were waiting for a check and another patron had to indicate we wanted his attention. What a waste of time and money. Doubt I'll return. read more

This is a great place to stop by to eat. I came here on a cold day, a perfect time for Pho. I ordered the Pho with steak and flank and spring rolls . It did not disappoint. I've been here twice. They opened right before Xmas, I didn't notice it beforehand, my the pricres for the pho have already gone up, cuz there are stickers over the original prices. I was really wanting pho, but at that price I can wait. I got Bun both times, it's my go to comfort dish. I would've enjoyed it more if the pork pieces weren't so large & if the cucumber & carrot were also cut smaller. Actually, I would've been happy if the cucumber were just cut. No napkins either. I got the steak pho, I didn't really like it but it's because it has a slight black licorice flavor and I don't like that, the noodles and steak were good though, same with the presentation! I'm so glad I found this place immediately after moving to the area. This place is high on my list of favorite Vietnamese restaurants (and this is coming from the SF Bay Area where there are literally hundreds of places to choose from!) The service is good and fast, and the food is authentic and comforting! This is absolutely my go-to restaurant when I have a craving for Vietnamese (which is rather often). So it's in a strip mall, but we enjoy pho as well as other vietnamese items, so we had to try it once this new place opened up. Starting with the food - we were very happy with what we had. Tried the steak only pho, as well as another pho, along with their spring rolls (goi cuon). Everything was very good and flavorful. Great place to get some pho. Now we need to make our way back so we can try some of the other dishes on their menu. Saw another table with some stir fried plates that looked very appetizing, so we definitely want to return. Service was also very good - our waitperson was very friendly & helpful. They were very quick about serving food. And they have done a very nice job of decorating so you don't feel like you are sitting in the middle of a strip mall store. Please don't go here. Food was small portions and Pho Bistro is 10 times better. I was so excited to go there! The strawberry smoothie was horrible. They took it back but the lady refused to take it off the bill. I paid for it and left it on the table. I will never give them another dime! I paid $15 for a smoothie, a tea and a can soda. The lady (owner) claimed the guy shouldn't of took it back cause he works in the kitchen. Horrible customer service, pressed for money! I hood it was worth it. Business won't make it!!!! read more

Pho Ngoc in york is the recent Vietnamese restaurant i`ve tried and missing the most widely known representation throughout the vietnamese community is the ice coffee with condensed milk if you are putting pictures of a product for your customers on a" menu"and that is what customers will get" not being tricked" for getting the american`s latte or american`s coffee. read more

My wife and I were out for Sunday drive in the country and wound up in York, PA. We decided to google Vietnamese restaurants in the area and found Pho Ngoc; and man, what a find!! The place is super clean and well decorated; Vietnamese music playing at a nice level. A very warm and welcoming vibe. The staff (that is, the owners - family run business) are super nice and friendly. Most importantly the food is awesome!! I had a bun noodle dish with pork, spring rolls and veggies. Might not be the gargantuan portions you might find at other restaurants - but the quality is very evident; very top notch The spring rolls for instance are the best - not thick in grease like you might expect from a Chinese restaurant - but very flavorful and seemingly healthy. My wife had a rice noodle dish in a brown sauce w/ seafood. Two thumbs up from her as well - and she's a tough customer when it comes to Vietnamese food - as she is Vietnamese. Can't wait to go back again to try the pho or bun bo Hue - need to find an excuse to go to York. read more
