Chicken pho & meatballs
Jenna H.

This place is absolutely delicious. This was my first time trying pho. I went here two weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how delicious it was! Portions are large, and an even distribution of broth v noodles. The Meatballs were delicious and so yummy. Very quick fast service. We went close to closing, so not too many other people were in there. Kinda pricey, but maybe that's normal for pho. Very delicious and will be returning.

First time here couple of weeks ago! Great service, Clean and great food. The broth of the pho was on point and delicious! Glad there's another Pho place next to home!

Happy to have a Vietnamese restaurant in York and so close to my home! The pho tasted like the pho I've had in Maryland (though one of my Vietnamese friends thought it was so-so). Got it for takeout and the meat was uncooked which was authentic and perfect - it cooked beautifully in the hot broth. Broth did spill in the takeout bag though. I also had the vermicelli lemongrass pork bowl with egg roll and it was delicious! Will definitely be back :) Nice owner and nice atmosphere too with the baking videos on the TV screen there.

Food was very very good!! little pricey but it's good!! idk what else to say lol, Come get phooo!! ...

This restaurant has one of the best welcoming energies! Staff goes above and beyond. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their food and the happiness of their customers! The cook came to our table and explained the proper way to dress our pho bowls along with some helpful tips to increase our pho experience! Best pho around! Amazing energy!

I have always wanted to try Pho but I finally got around to it. First I want to say the staff were very welcoming and clean. Being that it was my first time the chef explained the condiments and how it is typically eaten. I got the brisket and beef tendon. It was tender and flavorful. The egg rolls were nice and have a good crunch. The Thai tea had the perfect amount of sweetness and was refreshing. At first I couldn't decide between the Thai tea and the Coffee. She gave me a sample to try which I was so grateful for. I will definitely be getting it next time. All the ingredients were fresh. This was a great experience and a stellar introduction to Pho

Food was fresh, tasty and portion sizes were large for the price. Have eaten in and take-out. Both were delicious. Owners were friendly.

Subject: Concern Regarding Customer Service Experience on…read more April 12, 2026 I am writing to share my recent experience at Olive Garden on Sunday, April 12, 2026. I must say I was both surprised and disappointed by the level of customer service I observed and experienced during my visit. Upon entering the restaurant, I was not greeted by any staff member. There were multiple employees at the front, including what appeared to be a manager and host staff, at least 4 to 5 people, yet no one acknowledged my presence or offered a simple welcome. Example " Sir welcome to Olive Garden, we will be with you in a few minutes." Now as I stood there for some time while staff focused on a tablet and assisted another customer, completely overlooking me until I had to speak up and raise my voice to get their attention. Letting the manager know I was there to get dinner for a family member who is dealing with an illness. I was there for a carryout order that I had chosen to place in person instead of calling the order in on the phone. I would like to note that the young lady who eventually assisted me with my order was polite and professional. I have no complaints about her service. However, the lack of awareness and attentiveness from the front staff and management was concerning. During my visit, I also witnessed an elderly man struggling to enter the restaurant while pushing his wife in a wheelchair. Another customer and I had to assist by opening the door for them. Despite having several staff members, including management, present near the entrance, no one stepped in to help. This was especially troubling and reflects poorly on the level of care and respect shown to customers. You mean to tell me not one of them including the managerial staff could not open the door for a elderly man pushing his wife in a wheelchair! Two customers had to do it! Additionally, I experienced an issue with my order. I received the "buy one, take one" spaghetti meal, but the second entrée was cold. While I understand that I could reheat it at home, I expected both meals to be prepared properly at the time of pickup. I guess they thought it was funny because I spoke up about what they did in the front. I'm not sure this was done because I spoke and raised my voice. Then again it may have been. I want to be clear that I am not writing this letter in hopes of anyone losing their job. I believe people deserve opportunities to improve. What I would like to see is the owner or head General Manager come into the Olive Garden and have a staff meeting with everyone. Especially the hosts and the managers on staff that day. I strongly recommend that the Owner and the head General Managers address these concerns through additional training and a team meeting focused on customer service, attentiveness, and basic courtesy--especially for those in front-facing and leadership roles. I was picking up this meal for a family member who has been battling cancer for ten years, and this experience made an already important moment more difficult than it needed to be. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve the experience for future guests. Perhaps even a hands-on evaluation of customer service practices could be beneficial. If you have to do an undercover boss. Hey do an undercover boss! It was a hit tv show for a reason and helped save some businesses. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

My wife had the fish and chips. Food was good and plentiful. Service was very good, ate with some old friends, there was no rush, they gave us plenty of space. The menu is varied, specials are not typical fare, but also do not become science projects like so many "creations" do. The food is left to speak for itself. Affordable. The broth is rich and deeply savory, the cheese pull is perfect, and the crispy rings add a texture you never knew the classic was missing. The pork chop remains the star of the menu--huge, expertly seasoned, and cooked with precision. It's widely considered the best in the city, and honestly might be the best in the state. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor, it's the kind of entrée you end up recommending to friends for weeks. Their octopus is another standout, prepared with surprising delicacy. Tender, not chewy, with a perfect char that adds just the right amount of smokiness. It's balanced, refined, and one of the most memorable small plates you'll find locally. And don't leave without dessert--the crème brûlée is phenomenal. Silky smooth custard under a flawlessly torched sugar crust that cracks just right. Simple, classic, and executed perfectly. Between the inventive dishes and the warm atmosphere, The First Post remains a must-visit for anyone who loves great food done exceptionally well.

I've met her before but she was so helpful and friendly to me and my friends today I just had to mention it! Panera sandwiches are very good. I had my standard smokehouse chicken sandwich. It is a perfect blend of chicken, melted cheese, paper thinly sliced red onions and just the right amount of a delish smoky bbq sauce. Just perfect! The seasonal autumn squash soup is delicious. A nice change from the tomato soup I love. One friend had a harvest salad and said it was excellent, as usual. Other friend had a cheddar and turkey sandwich that looked pretty good. Terrific with a bowl of tomato soup that's always great. Coffee and tea are fresh and free refills of all drinks help make Panera a nice place for relaxing and chatting. Glad to say this is my favorite Panera. Give it a try next time you're in West York. Thanks, Sarah, for being you!
