Veggie and tofu pho
Kylie D.

Came here for pho and was not disappointed. I got the veggies and tofu pho and the tofu summer rolls. Both were delicious but not out of this world. My partner got the steak pho which he really liked. The staff were friendly but not over attentive. The vibe of the place is a little run down but it's great for pho in the area!

We've been here twice in two days. Prices are reasonable and the food tastes great! Service is great and consistent.

I had the pho and bun bo here. They were both tasty, no complaints really. Service was good. Seems like a semi hole in the wall place that you can miss if you drive too fast. Photos is of egg noodle and bun. Not what I ordered but what other people with me ordered lol

Great Vietnamese place with all of the classics. So many variety of pho and for about $2 you can get a super sized bowl, but honestly, the reg size is enough food. Most people get a thai iced tea, but a fresh coconut water is a MUST. And I dont know what is that they do, but a Vietnamese style grilled pork chop always tastes better than any pork I have ever had anywhere else. Good eats

We love the food, great service. We come back to eat everything when we are in Hershey. We order House special Pho, Bunch Tom, fresh summer roll. They are delicious.

This no-frills Pho shop offers classic Vietnamese dishes in a retro chic setting. Prices are reasonable (large Pho under $15), service is efficient and friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the Pho is some of the best in Harrisburg! Definitely recommend if you're looking for something quick, cheap, and delicious after the park. 5/5

I am addicted to Pho and since we don't have any where I live, every time I have to travel for business to the Harrisburg/Hershey area a Pho restaurant is a must stop. This was my first time at this restaurant. When I pulled in at around 2 pm, I was the only person in the restaurant, but it was after lunch and way before dinner, so no biggie. I ordered the fried egg rolls and steak and brisket pho. Both were so good -- the pho had a yummy tasting broth and the meat was very tender. My server was great with refills and checking to see if I needed anything else. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area! Plenty of parking in a lot behind the building.

Decent pho that did the trick on a cold day. Service was okay, especially given they seemed to be short staffed (only one individual taking orders, bringing out food, cleaning tables, etc.). For appetizers, we shared the fried egg rolls with minced pork and vegetables (#1) and the Summer rolls with shrimp and pork (#2). Surprisingly I enjoyed the fried egg rolls more as I usually prefer the Summer rolls. Both were pretty standard, though. As my main meal I had a small pho with well done round flat beef and brisket (#17). The soup didn't have much flavor to it, and was slightly on the salty side. Decent portion of meat and noodles, though, for a small bowl.

Okay, so the building is strange! And it's a bit sketchy to park in the back. But the food is great! The egg rolls and the shrimp spring rolls were both amazing! (Sorry, ate too fast and forgot pics). The pho and vermicelli noodles were as good as I've had anywhere. And the bill surprised me at how cheap it was! I'd definitely come back!

This place wasn't great, looks a little run down inside. The pho was alright. Shrimp egg rolls were meh. Also had a mango smoothie that tasted very artificial, they didn't have the first two flavors I tried to order.

The food was sub par for great Vietnamese cuisine. The dining area is a little odd. The prices were very expensive. They had taped prices over the old, probably less expensive ones. The pho was salty. There wasn't condiments available to improve the experience of the phó. I ordered an appetizer I hadn't seen before. The menu stated it was marinated beef wrapped in grape leaves. It was something to be desired. Not a fan of that. I also ordered fried Eggrolls. There were 15 tables. Nine tables were full. The others needed to be cleaned. The waitress taking care of the tables was doing everything. She was doing the order taking, the front end, to go orders, and the register. Four stars for the waitress doing everything. Two stars for the food, rounds it out to three stars.

Shrimp summer roll with salad and peanut sauce. Cool and refreshing.

I found this gem on a whim. It was my first day off in 20 days. I must have gotten there at a downtime. It was very quiet. My host quickly seated me and took my order. I had to get the summer roll with shrimp and the #37 grilled shrimp and grilled pork over vermicelli noodles. I haven't had such a well-balanced blend of flavors and textures in ages. Sweet, salty, soft, and crunchy. I ate everything to my heart's content. Had I been alone in there, I would have licked my bowl clean. I left feeling giddy to have found such deliciousness. I have a feeling I'll be making my way there more often on my days off.

Excited to find a Vietnamese restaurant in this town though the food was decent, the egg rolls needs some improvement. Not enough stuffing, overly refried where it was no longer crispy. We tried to communicate with the server but she understood limited English.

Outside its easy to mistake this place as a flower or gardening shop but that's just a credit to the owner's wife's passion for gardening and fresh ingredients. Inside is very simple and no frills but thats not a bad thing! We were greeted by the owners wife and seated by their son. I ordered the Pho rib eye and spring rolls and husband got the spring rolls as well and a rice dish. The flavors were so vibrant and fresh! Pho came with the usual cilantro, bean sprouts, etc to customize to your liking. There was nothing left by the time I was done, even drank all the broth. The wife checked on us a few times and graciously bid us fairwell, saying to please come again soon. We saw the owner and his son in the parking lot and chatted with them and another patron who finished before us. Very down to earth family with so many stories to tell. I could talk to them all day. Looking forward to stopping by again to enjoy more of their amazing dishes!

This one caught our attention and being a fan of pho we stopped in. First the atmosphere is that of a bar. A woman told us to sit where ever and someone would be with us. The place was pretty full, 25 or so people? Tables so close together we were almost sitting on the people behind us. When I tried to sit at a more open table a waitress rushed me saying "NO YOU CANT SIT THERE! I have a party of 8 coming!" That's fine but don't tell me to sit wherever then scold me when I pick an open table. The menu is another dead give away this place wasn't going to be up to our expectations. Listed on a placemat surrounded by local ads is something I expect from a diner or pizza place. Not bad but I've never seen one at an Asian eatery. Prices are what I've seen at other Pho restaurants but the quality is lacking here so I cant justify paying that. Waitress finally stopped over after 20 minutes with water and took our orders. I got rib eye pho and summer rolls. Husband got pad thai and "cheesesteak" egg rolls. Pho and summer rolls came first and after waiting another 20 minutes pad thai and egg rolls came. Pho was fine but had a strong cilantro taste and maybe 4 thin slices of beef. No extra sides of lime, basil, mint, or bean sprouts that are usually served with the dish. Summer rolls were supposed to be pork and shrimp but there was no pork to be found. Husband's pad thai was bland and lacking flavor. Maybe had 5 shrimp in total? Cheesesteak rolls are a joke. $8 for what looked like basic small spring rolls? No thanks. All the while we ate they were setting up for karaoke night. More staff seemed to be coming in, or people who knew staff, but just talked or yelled at each other getting pretty loud and noisy. Glad we left before the karaoke started. After not seeing our waitress for a bit we went to the counter and just paid the cashier. Unfortunately due to the atmosphere, food and prices we won't be back. Seems as if you're not a local or regular they don't seem to care for your business. Also good luck figuring out when they're open. Website, Google, Menu and door all have different times so its like a lottery if you want to eat there.

I tend not to judge restaurants with outdated decor or scuffed walls but I want to feel like I the tables and chairs are clean. Once we stepped inside I noticed the warm, inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of family-run eateries - and this place is a locally owned business, with the owner working every day it's open + he knows my mother and I by name/face even after long periods of us gone! The menu is a celebration of traditional Vietnamese flavors, made from scratch and using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant's pho is a perfect example: the broth is simmered for hours, yielding a rich, savory base that bursts with layers of flavor, complemented by fresh herbs, crisp bean sprouts, and tender slices of beef. As is done in Vietnamese cooking, the meat is served raw so that it can cook in the steamed broth that is served... I would disregard any negativity about this in other reviews because that is literally how Vietnamese food is eaten and a hater is just ignorant of our culture. My family is Vietnamese, and we enjoy coming here for authentic and traditional Vietnamese cuisine. For many Vietnamese-Americans in Harrisburg, this restaurant is a cultural anchor, with the Asian grocery store attached to the restaurant as well and a hair cut salon across the parking lot. A true gem of a restaurant, def worth visiting!
