I had the scallops with street corn risotto and my husband the chicken cordon blue sandwich. My scallops were perfectly cooked but the risotto could have used a bit more lime, cilantro, and cotija. My husband's sandwich was satisfactory. We also had the crème brûlée and peanut pie but the real star of the show was the frozen peanut butter martini. Could have gone for just that. 10/10 read more

I have been to this location several times. It's a nice size restaurant. As you know a lot of the Hershey restaurants get very crowded. They have a heated patio so you can enjoy dining outside even when it's chilly ! The menu is very large and they have something for everyone. Food here was good. The calamari was light and crispy and came with a honey sauce and a marinara. The shrimp corn chowder was thick and delicious, filling. But the best thing ordered at our table were the Zoe wraps with shrimp, strawberries and other goodies. The sourdough chicken salad sandwich was a peice of art. They said it was delicious, wish I had taken a pic before it was devoured. Our waitress was great. Did I mention 4 clean bathrooms! Thank you Hershey Grill, it was a long ride! We will return!. We decided to eat outside which was great on the 70 degree evening. Plenty of overhead lighting while we sat next to tons of beautiful flowers and the cool looking pond. The space was super cool. EVERYTHING tasted amazing. The food was served on super cool plates. We decided on a spinach and kale salad which had goat cheese, blueberries, blackberries and chicken. Veggies risotto was out of this world. I added the chicken was a nice add. Decided on the corn chowder and I scrapped the bowl. Hubby had the mussels and really enjoyed the broth that was included. The portions were huge so we brought half the meal back to our room. Dessert - Chocolate Mouse cake. Nothing better then Hershey's chocolate. Staff was really friendly and server was great. It was our last night at Hershey Lodge and after a very tiring day we just wanted to have a nice dinner where we didn't have to drive. We chose Hershey Grill because we were told they have great food for kids. We have a very picky 6 year old and so we thought we'd give it a shot. I'm soooo glad we did! Our server was wonderful! She brought us bread with butter and get this..chocolate butter! We ordered a grilled cheese and applesauce for our little one, I ordered the sweet corn and asparagus risotto with seared scallops. This dish was amazing! It was perfectly flavorful, wonderfully creamy, & the scallops were cooked just perfect! Hubby ordered the spinach salad with freekeh. He liked it. Lunch and dinner is served daily, and during warmer weather, you have the option to dine outdoors. This is a smoke-free venue. Their prices are affordable, especially for lunch. Feeling like a high-roller? There are entrees that go up to $40! Speaking of high-rollers, check out their water menu - you read that correctly - where you can get a bottle of Bling (http://www.blingh2o.com) for $40 with Swarovski crystals on it. When it comes to libations, they don't fool around: their wine list is fairly extensive, and I even spotted sake among the selections. For lunch, I started with the tomato bisque, which had a bit of a bite to it. I didn't want to fall asleep at the wheel afterwards, so I went for the pop rock shrimp, which I made short work of. Overall, I was satisfied, and coupled with my hilarious lunch company, friendly service (thanks Mihir for the whiskey shot), and chill decor, I enjoyed myself, and wouldn't mind eating at the Grill again. Hershey Grill was a nice surprise from my boyfriend for our Thanksgiving getaway. It took us a little awhile to figure out where it was located within the resort. Basically for those who are driving to the restaurant, upon entering, go towards the left. The restaurant is located outside from the resort and parking is free. As soon as we entered, the hostess was absolutely sweet and energetic. She sat us right away in a little corner by the window even though our reservations were made for later. The ambiance was romantic with dimmed lighting and small modern designed layout. We decided to order the Thanksgiving special which consist of turkey, broccoli with lemon aioli, bread stuffing, sweet potatoes drizzled with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon mix and lastly paired with cranberry sauce. To make the meal complete, we ordered sparkling wine. The turkey was juicy and the sweet potatoes were cooked to perfection. Soft, sweet and delicious. The stuffing was a little salty and dry, so I didn't care too much of it. The broccoli doh!! Won my heart over! I loooved the lemon aioli. Compliments any veggie dish! ($26) Our bill came out a bit pricey however it's understandable. Our portion was huge and filled us up real good that we couldn't go for desserts. If you're planning to attend here for just lunch or dinner, the menu price varies. Try to keep in mind that it is a bit pricey. It was a pleasant dining experience for my boyfriend and I. Cute little upscale diner type place located in Hershey Lodge. Well, it's not exactly IN the lodge, you actually have to walk outside to get to it--there is no direct entry from the hotel. We had lunch reservations for 8 people on a Thursday. When we arrived around noon we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We placed our orders and the food was brought out a lot quicker than we expected! Pleasant surprise. All of it was very good. I had the shaved beef panini with horseradish sauce and baby arugula. It was really yummy. I didn't taste the horseradish sauce, so I'm thinking they forgot it? Horseradish has a pretty strong flavor, so even just a light spread of it would be easy to taste. No biggie. Two other people in our party ordered the same and asked for extra horseradish sauce on the side. They offer either sweet potato fries or regular fries with all sandwiches/burgers. I ordered the regular fries and they were cooked perfectly. The only tiny complaint I have is that they don't have ketchup on the tables, they just give you a small amount in a dish that comes with your food. I love a ton of ketchup on my fries so it was a little inconvenient to keep asking for more, but our server was very attentive. read more

We decided to stop here for dinner while we were up in the Hershey area visiting Indian Echo Caverns. We were looking for something casual and we thought this would give us a good chance to check out the Hershey Lodge at the same time. When I first arrived to the restaurant, I was a bit surprised as I wasn't expecting it to be outside attached to the hotel. It's actually back by the convention center entrance and it looked a bit older and less grand than I was envisioning. Upon entering, the first thing that popped into my head is that the layout reminded me of a Denny's or something. There are tables, but also counter-top service that looks right into the kitchen. Overall decor is contemporary. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. Reservations are not taken during the summer months and we arrived around 4:30 on a Friday afternoon, so seating was not an issue. My two boys went with the grilled cheese and fries for their side, which was fine. They are generally picky eaters, but seemed to like their meals. The complimentary bread with both regular and chocolate butter was delicious. The bread was warm and soft with just a slightly crunchy crust. My wife started with the corn and crab chowder, which was pretty tasty. For our entrees, I went with the Texas Meatloaf and my wife had the salmon. I thought my meal was just OK. The meatloaf had a bit of a kick to it that I simply didn't care for. The mashed potatoes and grilled veggies that it came with was fine. My wife's salmon was better and she enjoyed her meal. For dessert, she went with the Ultimate Chocolate Cake while I went with the Peanut Butter Cup. Both desserts were tasty, but my wife thought the chocolate cake was a bit dry. Service overall was very good and our waitress was attentive to our needs. Portion sizes were good and I certainly didn't walk out hungry. For the four of us, with no alcohol, our bill came to just under $90 before tip, which I thought was a bit high. But hey, this is Hershey, so I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. We would eat here again, but it's certainly nothing we would crave. I'm sure next time, we'll try out some of the other restaurants in the area. read more

Just dined there for a birthday celebration. The Hershey Grill meals I had were quite surprisingly good. Vegetables sides were amazingly freshly cooked instead of the usual steamed pile. The deserts are definitely made in house. Overall very impressive they must have found a good chef amongst all the closed restaurants in the last few months. read more

I was expecting a fancy place but it ended up being more diner like than an upscale restaurant. Which is fine, the food was still tasty. I enjoyed a fresh bowl of berries on the breakfast menu and every berry ended up tasting sweet. Not one tart berry. I was impressed. I ordered the s'mores French toast. The dessert.....I was torn between a few items that all looked so good but went with a chocolate peanut butter pie that will always love clearly in my memory. Friendly, attentive staff added to the experience. There is a small lovely flower garden with a gorgeous water feature of tumbling waterfalls leading to a koi fish pond. Would I go back? Yes! My husband and I stayed at Hershey Lodge last weekend, and were aware that a variety of restaurants were located within the premises of the Lodge. After checking-in, we headed to Hershey Grill for lunch before heading to Hersheypark. We were lucky to have gorgeous weekend weather, so the patio seating at Hershey Grill was desirable. We did try the calamari appetizer, and we found it to be under-seasoned, but not greasy. Both of us ordered sandwiches that came with a considerable amount of french fries. Having a chicken sandwich is usually by go-to "introductory meal" to a new place, and I was satisfied with the quality. Our impromptu visit to Hershey Grill for lunch was followed by yet another impromptu visit to Hershey Grill for breakfast the next day. Our incentive was our complementary breakfast provided by Hershey Lodge that we earned upon booking. While my husband ordered a delicious omelet, I ordered the s'mores french toast as my last meal before leaving Hershey. Surprisingly, the french toast was not overly chocolate-y, but had the chocolate taste balanced with the rest of the ingredients. If it were a Nutella french toast, I would have definitely asked for another doll-up of Nutella, but this amount of chocolate was the perfect amount. I came here for brunch last Sunday during my trip to Hershey. We had debated eating brunch at the elegant Hershey Hotel or at the Hershey Grill (located in the Hershey Lodge). We went with the less expensive choice...the Hershey Grill. We did not regret our decision. If you come here and you're not a vegetarian then you must order the country eggs benedict. My country eggs benedict was incredible. Even now just thinking about it... I can taste the delicious eggs, sausage, and gravy. I was so consumed with joy over my country eggs benedict I forgot to take a picture ;( They have these jalapeño and cheddar muffins. I didn't think I would like them because I don't like jalapeños and the combination sounded gross, but they were so tasty. We got extra to take with us for the road. The service was beyond nice and they couldn't do enough for us, but a little slow. We sat outside because it wasn't too hot out and it was really pleasant getting some fresh air. The surroundings of this restaurant is quite beautiful: it features a cute little pond with koy fish and a small garden filled with tulips. Therefore it is quite unfortunate that our dining experience did not match to the amazing scenery outside the restaurant. I dined here on a Sunday afternoon and arrived approximately after 1 PM. We called to make a reservation before hand just in case if the restaurant gets packed. To our surprise, the restaurant was rather empty. We were seated promptly by our host on a booth that features the scenic view of the koy pond and little garden. While the view is nice and all, I could not help to notice how the restaurant settings resembles a cheap hotel lobby dining cafe. To start off, the interior decor of the restaurant reminds me of a college dining commons. Nothing cozy or intimate but rather disappointing when you discover the cheap tables and seats that they use for this establishment in comparison with such beautiful scenic view outside the restaurant. I felt immediately cheated by the gorgeous exterior design. I was looking forward to its brunch option, but to our disappointment, Hershey Grill does not offer brunch option but only breakfast (which ends by 12 PM) or lunch. We had no choice but to order from the lunch menu, which features some unremarkable entrees and several sandwich options. I ended up ordering the grilled cheese with eggs add on and tomato soup combo ($9 is unbeatable for its price) and a cup of hot tea. My friends ordered the same thing as me along with a spinach salad, grilled mushroom bruschetta and the Philly cheese steak quesadilla. Due to the restaurant located near the Hershey chocolate world, it offer Hershey chocolate butter with bread as a starter. The butter reminds me of Nutella but without the heaviness of the hazelnut flavor. Our food arrived in a timely manner (less than 10 minutes) and we were shocked by its size portion. Immediately we knew we ordered way too much food. Grilled cheese was decent; the tomato soup however, was weird. It tastes nothing like tomato soup but more of a creamy tomato chili. There is a heavy chili flavor and I was not sure what I was having at the moment. It does serve as a good dipping sauce for my grill cheese, but I wouldn't call it tomato soup. My friends weren't too impressed with the spinach salad and the bruschetta neither. "It tasted nothing like a bruschetta." said my friend while he was tasting the food. We were so disappointed by the food flavor and quality that Hershey Grill has offered. The staff and everyone there couldn't have been nicer, it just wasn't exactly what I pictured when I made the reservation. The food was good. My kids all had the steak, as did I. The kids loved the bread basket that came with regular and chocolate butter. The did say they could bring me a GF bread basket but I didn't have any, so I can't say how it was. My kids were loud and I would not have gone there with such a noisy party had I realized it was a smaller restaurant. My coworkers and I came to the Hershey Grill for breakfast during a conference. We were all equally unimpressed. There wasn't anything special about the food or the menu but I did hear that they had an extensive lunch menu. Unfortunately we only came for breakfast. For breakfast we all had omelettes.The plus side is they give you the option of eggs, egg whites or egg beaters for your omelette. The food was not bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular. One of the biggest setbacks was that they give ketchup in little containers and none came out with the food or butter for our toast so the server had to make about 3 trips to continue to grab sides for the food. Wow! Incredible food & incredible service! We arrived with no reservation (sorry! We didn't know), but the hostess didn't hesitate to find us a table. It was a little close to the next table over, but our conversations weren't disruptive so it was ok. I've been here a couple of times - once during Hershey Restaurant Week and once for breakfast. Both times were pretty good. The restaurant has an upscale diner feel. They have a full bar so that's nice that you can get drinks at any time of day. In the summer they have some outside seating so you can dine outside if you prefer. I always love eating outside as long as there are not bugs. And the outside area is covered so that usually isn't a problem. The thing about the food is that so far what I've had is not remarkable. I don't remember it being great but I don't remember it being bad. It was just fine. I may have just ordered the wrong thing? I just want to be blown away. The service is always excellent. It's a nice central spot to meet friends and its not hard to get a table there and parking is a breeze. The atmosphere kind of reminds me of an upscale diner. I finally made it to the Hershey Grill strategically planned during Restaurant Week in Hershey. Figured if I were to dine here, might as well do it while they are giving it 110%. Contrary to my assumptions, the Hershey Grill is a quaint little restaurant, and not a larger more elaborate establishment like I had thought. Still, the place still holds some elegance, what with fancier chairs, a nice view, and heavy silverware. Top dollar. They even have their logo on the water. Pretty swank. I felt comfortable in my surroundings as I perused the menu. The chairs were notably relaxed, and the view from our table captured the pond just outside. Service was attentive and very interested in how our experience was. Both the server and the manager visited our table each course to ensure our satisfaction or otherwise remedy the situation. For starters, we were served bread. Big whoop? How about with chocolate butter? Yes, chocolate butter. Would have been better on a croissant, but was good all the same. From the starters to our dessert, everything was delicious. Oh, and then there was the duck. It was AMAZING. In another review, for The Mill, I stated their duck was the best meal I have had in awhile. This duck rivals The Mill. Although the restaurant was located in a nice area, I wasn't too big of a fan. We came here for dinner and had 6 in our party. They were able to sit us after waiting a bit. We sat in a nice booth in the corner. Cons: there were so many flies where we were sitting. Throughout our whole meal, we kept waving them away but there were just so many. My utensils were dirty when I unwrapped which kind of grossed me out. I had ordered the chicken sandwich and I wasn't a big fan at all. The bread was soggy and so were the veggies. I didn't even eat it at all. On the other hand, the other dishes looked pretty good. However, the fish of the day was small. Also, mostly everything was highly priced for the quality of the food. We ate here for lunch today and it was above average. Upon arrival, I told the hostess we were a large group and she looked less than pleased. She wasn't even a little accommodating. We had to figure out our seating arrangements on our own; I'm not sure if she realizes this is her job. Anyway, we sat down and our waiter was SO helpful. We were a large group, with many checks, and lots of kids. He was patient and attentive no matter what. The food was delicious and so inexpensive. No one was unhappy with their meals. Not wanting to wait for a table at 9pm at one of the restaurants in the Lodge the concierge recommended we walk over to Hershey Grill. We walked through the empty convention center to the hotel to the restaurant. It was after 9 and they close at 10, but we were promptly seated and our waitress brought us both water and soda (it was a HOT day in the park and we both wanted to recover a bit). He ordered the Penne Bolognese. I stole a bite and it was good. I am not crazy about fennel, which I could instantly taste in the dish, but overall was very good. I had the "Vegetarian Risotto," I use the quotes because I had them add some steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and tender, but had I known how much risotto and how good it was going to be I would have been willing to skip the steak. Definitely recommend the risotto (with or without steak). Service was good even after what looked like had been a busy evening at the restaurant. read more
