Cool place, great interior and it looked like nice outdoor seating options as well. After a hot day at the giant RV show we ate inside. Service was very good. We ordered drinks the cheesesteak egg rolls. I highly recommend those egg rolls! Drinks were good, food came in good time. Steph had the burrito bowl with chicken and I had the tortellini. Tortellini came with chicken and andouille which was spicy but very good. Topped it off with a Sweet Baby Jesus peanut butter rum complete with crushed Reese's Pieces. We have made Hidden Stills a frequent stop when traveling 81. The food has been delicious , consistent and drinks are great as well. We had my husband's parents with us, and were excited to share one of fav food finds. I rarely EAT French fries .. but will eat if they are fresh cut fries. Having been there before, I knew they were good fries. I told my Father in law , also loves a good fresh cut fry. The ENTIRE menu states fresh cut fries. They were 100% frozen fries, with the peel on.. why false advertise, it's faux fresh cut.. cutting corners.. the burger was hardly what I had remembered. I was quite shocked. We loved Hidden Still Spirits so much that we ate here two days in a row! The service was outstanding both times, and everything we tried was incredibly fresh and delicious. The first day I had the Old Standby, and the burger tasted like one you'd cook fresh on the grill at home. The fries are freshly cut with no breading and were delicious. Their kids menu is AMAZING! Our son absolutely loved it. His meal came with a delicious burger and fries, a fresh salad, a drink, and even a scoop of ice cream at the end. Such a great kids meal and a nice change from the typical kids menu! We stopped by Hidden Still Spirits while visiting Hersheypark and were pleasantly surprised. If you're looking for a good dinner spot in the area, this is definitely worth checking out. The rustic décor creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it's a great option for families since they have a kids menu. The food was good across the board. The carne asada tacos were packed with flavor, the ribs were tender and fell off the bone, and the ahi tuna nachos served on crispy wonton chips were the highlight of the meal. My husband and I went to Hidden Stills for a Sunday Happy Hour power hour! We weren't incredibly hungry, but wanted to dabble in some nice appetizers. The appetizers were well worth the price and were served pretty quickly! I had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and my husband had the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. Both were delicious and the right amount for a heavy appetizer for a Sunday afternoon! To top it off, we also had some drink specials that included the Frosted Strawberry and draft Blue Moon. We topped off the afternoon with the recommended pineapple upside down cake and didn't turn back. It was decadent and the prefect size for two. The staff was pleasant, but I felt should have been more attentive for a sparse bar. The restaurant was unique in design and trendy, and had a nice flow of customers for a Sunday afternoon. We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. I have experienced dining in many area restaurants. After three visits to Hidden Still, I can appreciate why it's a popular destination. It's a spacious, lively establishment with a hardworking team, but our experiences have been mixed, particularly when it comes to the consistency of the food and service. Over the last three visits this past summer service has ranged from exceptional on one visit to disappointing on the others. During our most recent visit, we called to increase our reservation by two guests to eight. While I understand that accommodating changes can be challenging, the conversation could have been handled more graciously. Sometimes it's not what is communicated, but how it's communicated that makes the difference. And darn, for such a large place I could not believe he would grump about two extra chairs. This was a reservation I placed earlier in the week. I would expect them honoring a guaranteed party. Once seated, our server, who we later realized was also tending bar, took forever to take our meal order, And once the food arrived, he never returned to check on us or offer drink refills. When we were ready to leave, we had to go to the bar to pay, because we couldn't get his attention. In fairness, he appeared to be juggling multiple responsibilities, including serving tables, preparing drink orders, and attending to guests seated at the bar. Given the size of the restaurant and the volume of customers, I wonder whether staffing levels are sufficient to support the demands of such a busy operation. It seems less a question of individual effort and more one of whether the team has the resources to provide the level of service guests expect. The food has also been underwhelming. The Cobb salad was fine but fairly average. The black bean burger had an unpleasantly wet texture and seemed undercooked, while the jerk burger was heavily seasoned, messy, and also appeared undercooked. The tiramisu, was not impressive, and all the sides at our table of eight were lukewarm at best. Food preferences are subjective, of course, but none of these dishes quite met our expectations. The atmosphere is energetic, which many guests may enjoy, but the noise level can be overwhelming. We've found ourselves raising our voices throughout dinner just to maintain a conversation, leaving us practically hoarse by the end of the evening. There's a fine line between a vibrant atmosphere and one that makes conversation difficult. I do want to acknowledge the dedicated, hardworking, and seemingly well-organized staff. Our ONE waitress on different occasion delivered an exceptional service experience and demonstrated what Hidden Still is capable of when everything comes together. Unfortunately, the sheer volume of guests and the demands placed on staff may make that level of service difficult to sustain. Overall, Hidden Still has plenty of potential, but the experience feels inconsistent. With greater attention to food preparation, staffing support, and the overall comfort of guests, it could deliver a much more enjoyable dining experience. Three stars feels fair based on our visits. There's clearly a great deal of effort behind the operation, but a consistently good experience requires more than hardworking people--it requires an environment that allows them to succeed. read more

Location and parking: If you're not from the area (me) or haven't been before can be a little hard to find parking lot for restaurant but there are plenty of spots. The restaurant itself is also a little hidden off main road but gps will get you to the right spot. Service: Friendly, efficient and helpful Food and drink: I had a great passionfruit margarita, not too sweet and real passionfruit juice used! I also got the southwest salad. Came in for dinner while visiting Hershey with family. Very nice establishment with some great outdoor space to hang and for kids to play around while waiting. Unfortunately the one damper on our meal here was that waiting, and there was a bunch of it. Granted we were a group of 10 but my goodness was the service slow. I believe a big portion of the issue was that our server was also the bartender. Super friendly and knowledgable but spread entirely too thin. Our drink orders were taken, and now he's got to go back and make those plus whatever else is ordered from other tables so we're waiting a while just to put food orders in. Once we finally did that, getting it on the table also took forever. Normally we wouldn't have minded as much but we had reservations for one of the experiences at Chocolate World and made sure to tell them this when we were seated. The food we got was great, just took entirely too long. My smoked brisket chili was very tasty, my only regret being the way others in our group raved about the tomato soup they ordered, made me a stitch jealous. Ahi tuna nachos were terrific but unfortunately took so long that I couldn't even finish and taking the rest to go wasn't an option as we were heading right to the park - plus I can only imagine how long it wouldve taken to get a box. They were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The hidden Still fries are unlike anything you've ever had. The fries are crispy, topped with Boursin. How can you go wrong? The Pretzel is enough to share and comes with mustard and beer cheese. I had the crab grilled cheese with a side salad. The white balsamic dressing is to die for. The grilled cheese was packed full of flavor and I enjoyed the coleslaw inside. It gave it an unexpected crunch. For dessert, we split the French toast donuts. What a clever take on French toast. I also experienced my first brunch here over the weekend. The omelette was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of goat cheese, tomatoes, spinach, and bacon inside, and I asked for crispy hashbrowns, and they were cooked to perfection. We also tried the crab scotch eggs. Again, it's unlike anything you have ever had. The restaurant was so accommodating as we forgot to make a reservation for a larger party. My wife got the same Chicken Salad sandwich again, it's still a winner, seafood chowder was satisfactory to good according to her, she took the balance back to our hotel & she had it in the morning as she had a early morning meeting & we had a microwave, she changed her opinion to great , saying it tasted even better in the morning I guess from it being dehydrated. Pretzel was great, I had a chicken pot pie which I though was ok, it was basically a chicken stew served with a puff pastry in there instead of the stew in a puff pastry, It tasted clean & light lacking body so I ordered a side of lime rice which worked for me. The star of this place is really their custom brews, I thigh think the food here is 4to 4 1/2 star but their brews make it a 5 star restaurant. Their birch beer & bourbon ginger are perfectly balanced flavor & refreshing & I also bought a bottle of their express Old Fashion to take home, 10/10 satisfaction. We've visited Hidden Still a few times since my first review and I wanted to provide an update. Overall we have been very pleased with our experiences and enjoy HS as a place where we can find good service, food, and drink. This past Saturday we had a group of 6 for dinner. I wish I could remember our server's name because he was amazing!  The food was solid and we sampled a variety of items and everyone seemed pleased with their entrees (I tried the ribs, which were ok.)  The highlight of the food was the pierogi poutine.  This was amazing and I could have eaten a second order!  The cocktails were spot on with near perfect old fashions and sazeracs.  If you are in the Hershey area I would recommend giving Hidden Still a try! read more

Ray, our server, is a rockstar. He is so friendly and accommodating. We tried several dishes and all were decent. The calamari melted in your mouth. The bourbon BBQ sauce is delicious (I didn't like the Carolina sauce, (it was too heavy on yellow mustard flavor). The ribs fell off the bone and OMG they served enough for 2 big men. The drinks were fabulous. Bathrooms were immaculate and parking is abundant. They have a huge outside patio that's dog friendly. I ordered a Tom Collin's and it was made with lemonade not lemon juice. I am not a huge sweet fan so it made the drink undrinkable. The bartenders are not too attentive to the bar guests. I ordered a salad with no dressing and the dressing came on the salad. We used to like to come to this place when in Hershey. I think we will find a new spot.
