Warm honey goat cheese 10/10 Loved this! The creaminess of the goat cheese paired great with the sweetness of the honey. I liked the crispiness from frying the panko crust too. This is fantastic both with or without the crostini bread. The menu did say truffle and hot honey glaze however, I only tasted the traditional honey flavor. No heat or truffle flavors. Crab cake - single 8/10 Crab cake was good. I liked the panko crust on it. It was just a hair dry, so it really needed a sauce. However the whole grain mustard "sauce" that it came with was actually just the mustard, it was not a sauce at all- which does not pair well with the crab cake at all in my opinion- It really needed a Remoulade or aioli, just something more on the creamier side rather than straight mustard. The risotto was cooked perfectly for me, it was hard to tell what the flavor was though without reading the menu (it was lemon Parmesan). I didn't understand how the risotto got its reddish-orange color though since neither lemon or Parmesan are that color. The asparagus was cooked perfectly, and was pretty good. Center cut Filet 9/10 Ordered medium, it was cooked perfectly with a warm pink center. The mashed potatoes were super dry, they needed cream or butter or something to make them better and more flavorful. The red wine Demi was pretty good, you could definitely taste the wine and it kinda also tastes like mushrooms in a way. Asparagus again, was cooked perfect. Vanilla bean Crème brûlée 9/10 The custard was amazing- definitely a 10/10. The sugar on top is what brought me down a point because it was just so thick, it really overpowered the custard a little bit, so a thinner caramelized sugar layer would have been perfect. Chocolate Lava cake 8/10 Yummy chocolate cake with a molten lava center, paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The "lava" in the center though was not very much, and definitely needed a little more.
I recently visited Chocolate Avenue Grill for a business meeting on a Wednesday evening and was surprised by how busy it was. Even on a weeknight, the restaurant was adequately packed, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation if you're planning to dine here. A few things to know before you go: Popular restaurant that can be quite busy, even during the work week. Reservations are a good idea, especially during dinner hours. There is a small parking lot surrounding the restaurant, as well as street parking. Both were full when I arrived. There is a free parking garage across the street behind the storefronts, which ended up being the easiest parking option. For drinks, I ordered the Peach Sangria, and it was excellent. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet, it paired nicely with dinner and was one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the: Chicken Marsala Sautéed chicken breast with mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce served over house-made linguini or mashed potatoes & asparagus. Unfortunately, this dish didn't quite meet my expectations. The Marsala sauce itself was decent, but by the time the meal arrived, the linguini was somewhat cold. As a result, the noodles had begun to harden and stick together, which affected the overall experience. Considering the price point, I didn't feel the dish offered good value, and it's not something I would order again. That said, the restaurant's popularity, lively atmosphere, and excellent sangria make me interested in returning. I'd be curious to try some of the other menu offerings on a future visit, as there were several dishes that looked appealing. Overall, while my entrée was disappointing, the atmosphere and drink selection were enough that I'd be willing to give Chocolate Avenue Grill another chance.
Visited here during PETE&C and highly recommend it! Service: our server was amazing! Highly attentive, friendly, and intuitive! I would visit this restaurant again, just because of her! Ambiance: despite the frigid temperatures outside, this place was warm, inviting, and had a contemporary feel. The decor was modern and clean. My chair was pretty comfy too, and I didn't even sit on the booth side. Food: the food was excellent! Our server brought it out almost as soon as we ordered it. I had a cup of some spicy Spanish chicken soup and it was excellent! It had just the right amount of flavor and spice with mini tortilla strips as a garnish. As an entree I had a bacon cheeseburger with barbecue sauce. Of course I don't remember the name of the burger, but it was distinct and they only had three options. It came with lots of fries and I couldn't finish the whole thing. Easily a quarter pound of meat. I was able to get to get the burger ordered the way I liked it (Medium) and it was cooked perfectly! The meal was so much I had to take some home. Parking: there was ample parking and the logical parking lot; i.e. one way in and one way out. I can see parking being a problem during the warmer months or at peak times so plan accordingly. I had an early dinner so I got there around 5 o'clock. As we were leaving, it was packed!
Excellent food with a great selection and options to get half orders which I think is an absolute genius idea. The food was delicious and we will definitely go back when we are back in Hershey. Ps. Emma's smile was very welcoming to our family and made us feel at home.
We enjoyed our dining experience here. The food hit the spot. My drink was delicious as well. We shared the curry mussels for our appetizer and it was delicious. I had the grilled Salmon. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the short ribs with the pasta. His short ribs was nice and tender with plenty of flavor. Our server was attentive. We sat at a booth near the bar. I would definitely return here when visiting the Hershey area. Definitely worth it.

I saw there wasn't much of a wait at Chocolate Ave Grill. Turned out we did have a wait of 30 minutes but it went quickly! This was peak dinner time, 5:30. The place was fancier than I expected but a laidback vibe and not noisy! The food was fabulous! The homemade pasta was amazing - I could really taste the difference. I had the peach and watermelon salad with grilled salmon. It was so light and refreshing but also filling. My son had the lobster roll and it was fantastic. Everyone said the fries were good as well. My husband had the Smokehouse burger and it looked excellent. Our server, Morgan, was fast, friendly and attentive. Just what we needed to eat and then get to Hersheypark just in time for our preview hours!
We had takeout from here and it was delicious! My husband had the Pittsburgh steak salad and it look so good. The steak was a nice big cut of steak, not shaved. I ordered the southwest chicken wrap. The chicken was good and the bean and corn salsa on it was great also. I would definitely come back here to dine in or take out.
We decided to try the Chocolate Avenue Grill for our anniversary this year. We always try somewhere local, when we're home and we've been wanting to come here for some time. We made a reservation two weeks in advance (highly recommended), and were seated promptly. It was 100 degrees out and thankfully they had seats inside for us! We each ordered our entrees and decided to share a Gorgonzola salad (I should have taken a photo of that salad - I dream of that salad). I ordered the tender bites, which came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I subbed out the mushroom sauce for their peppercorn sauce and it was delicious! The wife had their scallops with risotto and said it was fantastic (I don't eat seafood). At just under $75 for both of us, it's definitely not somewhere we'll eat at often, but we will return! We did not end with dessert because we were stuffed. We had no issues with anything and service was fine. It wasn't the best we've ever had, but she was attentive and made sure our waters were refilled.
This place is vibes + great service + great food. I came in here by chance after an appointment nearby. It was such a pleasant experience. The server and host were friendly, helpful and attentive. We always had our water refilled, food orders came accurately and quickly. The food was so good. I loved my steak tacos and the apps were delicious. I'd love to come back and try more of the menu. We loved our server. Loved the food.
The server I had was so sweet and on top of it. He made sure the whole 2 hours I was there my drinks were topped off and I was happy. The restaurant was recommended by several people around town so I had to come stop by! The server I got recommended the seafood pasta so obviously I had to try it. I also love a Brussel sprout so I had to grab those. I will say they came out insanely hot and I didn't realize and burned my mouth. That's my fault I should have temp checked prior to taking a bite. Main course came out and the pasta and scallops were Devine!! The biggest callout on this dish is the shrimp was WAY overcooked. I called this out to my server and he offered a discount. I then got the creme brulee and completely forgot about the shrimp because this dessert stole the show. I do have to say come give this place a try. Menu is huge and many great options!
First time here. Lots of off-street parking. Greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Our table gave us a nice view of the outside up front. They had a few options for gluten free meals which is always a plus! Our waiter was very professional and knew the menu. Our food seemed to take a while to come out, but my husband and I both thought our food was delicious. Definitely a place we'll come back to!
Came here after a day of fall activities and celebrated with a great fall menu! They have chef favorites that are seasonal and are delicious! We went around 530-6pm and it was busier, however our waitress was amazing! They have tvs to watch the games and the music isn't too loud that you can hear what others are saying. This was a great place to come and have a catch up with your best friends!

I never write reviews, BUT this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We had spent seven hours driving to Hershey that morning, and then most of the day in the amusement park, and more than anything we just wanted some good-no fuss food at the end of the day. My husband and I managed to snag two bar seats (Patty was our bartender - extremely personable). We split a peach & watermelon salad to start, because today had been HOT and were in need of something refreshing. 10/10. We each had the steak frites, and honest to God, it may have been the best one I've ever had. The sauce on top was SO good! We ended with an espresso martini, which was also perfect! Absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or local. read more

We were in town to see Christmas in Hersey and we decided to try this place. Arrived at 5.15 on Friday night and this place already packed and we have to wait around 40-45 minutes. After we seated and ordered our drinks and dinner, the foods came out pretty quick. The staff were friendly and the waiter was helpful too. The foods were delicious, the steak and pasta were perfectly cooked. The beef sandwich was great too. read more

After spending the day at the Hershey Chocolate World we were ready for a good meal. This place was great! My salmon was cooked perfectly as well as the Lemon Parmesan Risotto. The lasagne was a good portion. It was busy but our server was still able to give us great service. Highly recommend! read more

This restaurant came highly recommended by the staff at the Hershey Story Museum, and it's just a short walk, literally a block from the museum, so we decided to support a local spot. Our server, Ricky, was fantastic! He was super friendly and even suggested some of his favorite menu items, which we were really glad we tried. I ordered the blackened mahi with a side of broccoli, since I wasn't a fan of the green beans. My dish was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The crust was light, and the fish was tender without being overcooked. To kick things off, I started with a cider since it was St. Patrick's Day! Now, for the best part as we saved room for dessert and tried the peanut butter pie. It was absolutely to die for! I can still taste it. The pie was homemade, and I highly recommend it if you go; it's their most popular dessert. Plenty of clean bathrooms, the restaurant wasn't too crowded for Monday's lunch, plenty of parking behind the restaurant as well as outdoor seating. read more

Where to start, it was a typical summer Saturday in Hershey, plenty of non-park traffic in the area, we've been wanting to checkout this place for sometime and decided that today was the day(Saturday June 27,2026) and we were blown away, the entire inside dining area was packed so we asked to sit outside and were sat immediately, our table was perfect, we had a great view of downtown Hershey and a great view to people watch, our server Jen was a rock star, she was very attentive and friendly. We started off with the Asian potstickers, they were amazing, this was the kind of opening we were hoping for, than came the main event, my wife and I both had their "The smash deluxe burger" I added bacon to mine, both burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the "animal" sauce takes this burger to another level, it's their homemade version of Big Mac sauce but on an entire different level, next visit we'll both be sure to ask for an extra side of it for our fries, than we both finished our meals with their molten chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, The Chocolate Avenue Grill is one of the Best places to grab a bite to eat in Hershey, Thank you for making our first visit amazing and it definitely won't be our last, keep doing what ya'll are doing because it definitely works!! read more

This is now one of my favorite restaurants in PA! I visited for the first time despite living in the area for a few years now. They weren't super busy around 6 pm on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. We ordered the fried brussel sprouts with hot honey for app and it was delicious! We devoured it immediately, hence no picture. For entrees we got the lobster a la vodka (sub pappardelle for spaghetti), the lobster roll, and the Mexican street corn risotto with salmon and avocado. These were phenomenal. My husband is a fiend for lobster rolls and said this is the best one he's ever had here. We loved the pasta and were happy we got the pappardelle substitution. The pasta had a ton of lobster in it - so did the lobster roll. We were shocked and impressed. The street corn risotto was good and the salmon was perfectly cooked. We wouldn't add the avocado next time, since it's around a $3 upcharge. The specialty cocktails were beautiful and so good! We wanted to try the crème brûlée for dessert but it's made in advance and sometimes they sell out of it. Next time!! Overall, great good, amazing service, parking available in the back or on the street, and prices aren't bad for the quality of food you get. We will be back! read more
Apps: Brussel sprouts - would've been a hit if it wasn't so sweet, the dish was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy Coconut shrimp - standard, the slaw underneath it was good Entree: Kids salmon - kids liked it with ketchup, otherwise it's standard salmon - aka bland in my opinion Lobster risotto - personally I like the rice to be cooked a bit more, but the rice was al dente which some people like, plentiful lobster pieces. Drinks: Magnolia - on the sweeter side. Could've used a bit more lime, not as fizzy as I was expecting Overall a pleasant experience and our waitress was so nice and attentive. I especially appreciate places that give out crayons and papers to keep kids entertained. This place also gives out these wax sticks that kids can make figurines out of. Tip: make reservations as it gets quite popular around prime time. Fortunately we waited only 15 min for a table at noon (prime time), and by the time we were done at 1:30, there were plenty of tables available. read more

The interior was really nice and elegant, server was also very nice. I ordered the regular burger but substituted it for grilled chicken (I didn't want the pesto or the ciabatta bread on their chicken pesto sandwich) and it was amazing. Will definitely go back. read more

My husband is on a work trip and I found this place for us to eat at. First off, this little town is so cute!! We sat outside and the weather was absolutely beautiful. The waitress was amazing and very attentive. I got the lasagna and it was some of the best lasagna I've ever had. My husband got the steak frites and he loved it. Perfect little eating spot and it was a wonderful experience. read more

Came for happy hour and got the seats by the window next to the bar. It was busy on a Friday night so it was a little difficult to order with the staff behind the bar especially because we sat out of the way. We enjoyed the warm honey goat cheese. Enjoyed some excellent food at The Chocolate Avenue Grill recently. To start off, the parking is small and gets packed easily. However, there are lots of available parking across the street. That said, since it is busy, expect waiting for a table (about a 30 minute wait) depending on what time you go (I went around 6:30pm). The restaurant has a very casual and comforting vibe, letting a bright natural light shine through the windows. It has lots of indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Ambiance rate 7/10. My boyfriend and I ordered: 1. Large Garlic Parmesan Fries w/ Truffle Oil: These fries had a generous amount of truffle oil. Some were soft while others were crispy. I loved the garlic aioli on the side! However, for a large size, the portion was kind of small. Rate 8/10. 2. Lobster A La Vodka: This dish was incredible! It had great flavor and had a great amount of lobster. Although the vodka sauce didn't taste like your typical vodka sauce, it was still delicious. Rate 9/10. 3. Bistro Stroganoff: This entrée was so yummy and had a delectable taste. The sliced tender was cooked perfectly to my liking, and had great flavor. Although this dish didn't include sour cream like how it's classically made, it still tasted great. Rate 8/10. The staff was friendly however, the service was a little slow. It took almost 30 minutes for our appetizer to come. Service/staff rate 7/10. The prices for the dishes were fairly priced, and it was great that the drinks were bottomless. It was also nice they offered a 10% off discount for first responders/military personnel. However, it was only applicable to one entrée of your choosing, rather than the entire bill. This restaurant offers a variety of delicious food and drink options that I'd recommend people to try if they're in the area! read more

Like most places you can simply ask them about certain dishes if it ms a concern and also make them aware that you have a tree nut allergy.
Do they have a kids menu?
Yes they do and according to our son it was just as delicious as the adult food.
