The food was excellent! We got a few appetizers and I could barely eat my dinner. The drinks were also good and strong. Our waitress was so funny too. It's a bit expensive but we will be back when we're in the area for sure!

1933 never misses. Ever. The staff is so kind and genuinely helpful -- the kind of service that makes you feel taken care of without being hovered over. The food? Spectacular. I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp and it was perfection. Crisp, fresh, and loaded with flavor. Ryan got the brisket benedict, and the smoky, rich flavor of that brisket could convert a non-brisket believer on the spot. And listen... I completely forgot to take a picture of the real star of the show: the she crab soup. It's the one thing I will always order when I'm at The Hotel Hershey. Creamy, rich, and absolutely unmatched. Prices are definitely higher (it's The Hotel Hershey not shocking), but totally worth it when both the food and service come through. And they did. Would absolutely come back, no hesitation.

Entrance

We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was on the back grounds of the famous Hershey Hotel Great customer service Great food - try their meatloaf and rolls. They pair some good sides with the main protein and it was delicious Great location Server told us they recently remodeled. It looked nice but they failed with their choice of Home Depot spherical chandelier lighting- very cheap looking and does not match the old world decor. We own an antique store and noticed this immediately - they have a few Tiffany style chandeliers that are perfect - they need to replace the cheap ones and it will complete their dining room. Cheers!

Definitely one of the better steaks that I have had. Everything tasted amazing. The service was quick and amazing. The bathrooms though, they were awesome! The cups and plates were nice too. I also enjoyed all of the scenery. So nice inside and out!

Adobo Lacquered Swordfish

This was an amazing dinner I enjoyed while attending a conference at the hotel. Atmosphere and service were top notch as usual.

Entrance

WE really enjoyed our meal at 1933. I got the She crab soup and my husband had their version of French onion soup and had had 4 oysters. I ordered the 6 oz filet which was cooked perfectly and I loved their truffle fries. My husband had the Oscar rib eye and he enjoyed his as well (and he is fussy about steaks). We had a wonderful window view because the restaurant was not very crowded. I also had the Hershey Kiss martini which was awesome! We will definitely return!

Meatloaf

My husband had the meatloaf platter. They let him switch his side dish because he didn't want the mashed potatoes. He picked the macaroni and cheese instead. I had the lobster Cobb salad. It had just the right amount of dressing. It was very filling. The lobster was cooked perfectly. It would have been nice to include a roll or breadstick with the salad.

This place is hands down the best breakfast/brunch spot around!…read more Amazing food, coffee, cocktails! There's literally nothing that disappoints here. It gets a little busy Sunday late morning until close, but the wait time is usually 20 to 30 minutes. I think the longest I've ever waited was 40, but it's well worth it. Everyone in town knows how good it is, so if you want to get right in come early. If you come later , and have to wait a little bit, I guarantee you'll be happy you did! All the servers are very kind, and very helpful. Highly recommend!

I craved some comfort food before the long ride home and I remembered The Hershey Pantry from my college days at PSU, which now feels like 138 years ago. We stopped in and had the most delightful, sweet waitress: Piper. The food was just what we wanted: filling and familiar. Hubs had a chicken caprese sammie and I had a reuben with turkey. Both hit the spot. I saw a coconut cake slice go by for another table and had to order one immediately to go. OMG - GET THE COCONUT CAKE. I had it as a late night snacky and it was tender with the right amount of coconut, and frosting that was light like an angel's wings. My only regret is that we live 3.5 hours away and can't come back anytime soon.

Fantastic lunch, so much so, we returned twice in same weekend. Ordered Bavarian Pretzel Cheese…read moreBoard. We LOVED it. Pretzel had crisp exterior, tender inside, no tough chew. Tucked inside loops- ham, Lebanon bologna, cheese, grapes/strawberries, sugared nuts- cheese/mustard dipping sauces. Plenty to eat, but earlier photos appear to have more meat. At this price point- more variety in the cheese would be my note & keeping the quality/quantity of meat/cheese/fruit high. Split Lobster Cobb Salad- chef went out of way to make it full feast for us both- greens, hard-boiled egg, blue cheese, scoop of avocado, bacon, Ranch, lobster medallions. I'd return just for this! Fish & Chips- can't speak to fries, subbed, but fish was so moist inside, puffy, glistening, but not greasy. Appetizer Rueben Pierogi has been done before, but not as well. Loved bed of kraut peppered w/ chunks of corned beef. I left nothing on plate. Soup- Braised Five Onion Broth, lackluster, but still enjoyable. It was as described- vegetarian, so that's on me, just partial to more traditional version. Cocktails/entertainment provided by Jarad made sit-at-bar experience friendly, fun, & interesting. Brunch was almost there, but needs fine tuning. Smoked Brisket & Eggs, grand idea, but was missing key elements like House BBQ. Husband had similar feelings about Huevos Rancheros which might've benefitted from some chorizo rather than 2 Vegetarian varieties. Recommended w/ reservations as alternative to no-wow-factor buffet. TY Harvest team. We look forward to returning.

After coming here for Sunday brunch, I have to say I don't think I will be returning…read more The one redeeming quality was the service was great. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Although it was not busy at all, which may have made it easier for her to tend to us. The prices here are outrageous for the quality of the food and drinks. $13-15 for a mimosa is just insane!! My friend ordered an espresso martini off the menu and had to have it sent back because it was not made correctly. They remedied this quickly and without complaint - however it came back and tasted exactly the same lol. As far as the food, everything we ordered was very tasty, but I do not feel the quality matched the prices. My daughter has the cinnamon French toast sticks which were $9 for about 5 little sticks and some syrup. I had the yogurt and granola bowl. It was good - but $14 for yogurt, granola, and some fruit is a lot. Between the 2 dishes, a small side of fries, and 2 mimosas, my bill was over $70 with tip. I feel that is a steep price to pay for brunch, especially if you are not completely "wowed". Overall, I don't forsee myself returning here. The two friends I was with sadly agreed.

I had a fantastic visit to Devon's! Clean, excellent restaurant right in Hershey! We had a…read morereservation (highly recommended) it was early Saturday night and still very busy! I had the tuna steak, roasted heirloom carrots in honey sriracha butter and whipped Yukon gold potatoes. Our waitress was great- very knowledgeable about the menu, including the gluten free options. She said that for the current menu, all sides are gluten free except for the lobster Mac and cheese. No gluten free rolls or pasta options but many seafood and steak options. Mocktail options available as well! Plenty of free parking, which is always nice!

I've been to this place numerous times now, and the biggest thing I'll say upfront is: you never…read morereally know what you're walking into on a given night. Consistency is a real concern here. That said, let me break it down. Ambiance: 4/5 Context matters here. In the wintertime, you walk in and it's dark, cozy, and has legitimately good steakhouse vibes. In the summertime though, those vibes basically disappear. So call it a 4.5 in the winter and closer to a 2 in the summer -- we'll average it out to a 4. Still probably one of the better ambiances in the Hershey area, which isn't saying a ton, but credit where it's due. Service: 5/5 No complaints here. Multiple waiters coming around, water always filled, attentive throughout. Great job. Food: 3/5 This is where it gets complicated. The steaks -- they know how to get the cut right and cook it to your requested temperature, I'll give them that. But if you've been to top tier steakhouses, you know this isn't one: the plate is not piping hot, the steak not bursting with flavor, kind of dry, not juicy, not the best crust. The sides deserve some credit though -- the potatoes au gratin and asparagus are pretty solid. However, I ordered the red snapper, which came with mushrooms and a puree, and the sides were so small you could barely see them under the fish. The fish itself was cooked well, though I personally like my fish with some kind of juicy base. That may just be the style here. Overall: 3/5 Look, Devon is the best steakhouse Hershey has to offer -- but you have to keep that context in mind. If you're holding it to a high steakhouse standard, it's going to fall short. Consistency is the biggest issue. Some nights are better than others, and at these prices, that's not acceptable. Go in with the right expectations and you'll have a fine time. Go in expecting a top tier steakhouse experience and you'll leave disappointed.
