Fantastic lunch, so much so, we returned twice in same weekend. Ordered Bavarian Pretzel Cheese Board. We LOVED it. Pretzel had crisp exterior, tender inside, no tough chew. Tucked inside loops- ham, Lebanon bologna, cheese, grapes/strawberries, sugared nuts- cheese/mustard dipping sauces. Plenty to eat, but earlier photos appear to have more meat. At this price point- more variety in the cheese would be my note & keeping the quality/quantity of meat/cheese/fruit high. Split Lobster Cobb Salad- chef went out of way to make it full feast for us both- greens, hard-boiled egg, blue cheese, scoop of avocado, bacon, Ranch, lobster medallions. I'd return just for this! Fish & Chips- can't speak to fries, subbed, but fish was so moist inside, puffy, glistening, but not greasy. Appetizer Rueben Pierogi has been done before, but not as well. Loved bed of kraut peppered w/ chunks of corned beef. I left nothing on plate. Soup- Braised Five Onion Broth, lackluster, but still enjoyable. It was as described- vegetarian, so that's on me, just partial to more traditional version. Cocktails/entertainment provided by Jarad made sit-at-bar experience friendly, fun, & interesting. Brunch was almost there, but needs fine tuning. Smoked Brisket & Eggs, grand idea, but was missing key elements like House BBQ. Husband had similar feelings about Huevos Rancheros which might've benefitted from some chorizo rather than 2 Vegetarian varieties. Recommended w/ reservations as alternative to no-wow-factor buffet. After coming here for Sunday brunch, I have to say I don't think I will be returning. The one redeeming quality was the service was great. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Although it was not busy at all, which may have made it easier for her to tend to us. The prices here are outrageous for the quality of the food and drinks. $13-15 for a mimosa is just insane!! My friend ordered an espresso martini off the menu and had to have it sent back because it was not made correctly. They remedied this quickly and without complaint - however it came back and tasted exactly the same lol. As far as the food, everything we ordered was very tasty, but I do not feel the quality matched the prices. My daughter has the cinnamon French toast sticks which were $9 for about 5 little sticks and some syrup. I had the yogurt and granola bowl. It was good - but $14 for yogurt, granola, and some fruit is a lot. Between the 2 dishes, a small side of fries, and 2 mimosas, my bill was over $70 with tip. Beautiful location on the Hotel Hershey campus, between the hotel and the lodge/cabins. We went off season, end of September and things were pretty quiet. Our service was excellent, the atmosphere is lovely and the glass light fixtures are stunning. The she crab soup was excellent, it had a slight texture of having been sitting for a while (we came at a weird afternoon time). We split a lobster Cobb which was outstanding, great dressing. I recommend getting your dressing on the side! We also had the autumn risotto which was good, a little sweet and oddly thick, too sticky. I gave this restaurant a 3 star because of the nice atmosphere and very nice location behind the Hershey Hotel. The service was excellent also . The cuisine was a bit disappointingly average. We had the crab soup and it was just missing something. It did not have much crab and it was a bit thin. I had a tenderloin as the main course and it was really small. I'd guess maybe 4 ounces at most for a high price . The brussel sprouts side was very good. All and all, I am not really sure if I would to go back here. Too bad because it is such a great location and setup. Also a heads up. If the restaurant is crowded , there isn't enough parking nearby . My husband and I had reservations here for dinner during our stay at the Hotel Hershey. Harvest sits in a stand alone building behind the hotel itself very close to the outdoor swimming pool and outdoor patio area. It is not far from the "HH" shaped bushes that face two pergolas and dual reflecting pools. Inside I noticed that they have a billiard room near the main dining room. We were seated right away. I looked over the menu and noticed some of the vegetables used in some of the dishes were grown by students at the Milton Hershey school. We had a very pleasant waitress who made us feel welcome and gave us good service. Checking out the menu I saw they have vegetarian options some of which can be made vegan upon request. I went with the quinoa plate with fresh vegetables and grilled chicken. My husband had the fish and chips. Presentation of the food looked beautful and I loved the home grown tomatoes that were part of my dinner. The whole meal was quite filling to say the least. I sampled a piece of my husband's fish and chips and it was very good. Harvest offers beautiful views of the hotel grounds and has a nice atmosphere. Expect to pay more here because this restaurant is part of the Hotel Hershey complex which is Hershey's signature resort. I got an early birthday dessert compliments of the staff. A chocolate minature cupcake along with a Hershey's kiss. You can never go wrong with that. Day guests are welcome to park out front in the Hotel Hershey's parking lot. read more

I am sorry to say that this restaurant has not lived up to my expectations. I have dined here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. In both instances, I have been disappointed. The food is mediocre at best and well below what I would expect for such a nice hotel. The food presentation could use some improvement. A bit of color on the plate would have helped with the presentation. As it was, everything seemed to blend together which was not visually appealing. The service was okay but could have been improved. For instance, the server never mentioned the 'specials' to me. I didn't realize these even existed until I overheard another server mentioning them to her customers. The decor was nice, but nothing special. Harvest was great! (I only give 5 star to one of a kind places..most would give this a 5 star easy). We went for our 1st anniversary. Parking was easy, great view, good food. We actually had my brother with us so it was for 3 people. We ordered the BBQ platter for 2 and he had the steak. We also had the Bavarian pretzel and chips and dip. Everything was very good. It was not the best BBQ ever, but it was decent. They also acknowledged it anniversary with a cute plate of strawberries. We also got chocolate moose pie and PB moose pie. There are 4-5 outdoor tables behind the restaurant that overlook the grounds. It's such a nice view while the sun sets! Cons Slow service (we didn't even go in season) and TINY portions! Bottom Line: Cozy atmosphere with great service and tasty farm fresh fare. My husband and I had dinner at Harvest on a cold Saturday night while staying at The Hotel Hershey. We had a great experience. We should have made a reservation and didn't so we were lucky to score a cozy table in the bar area. Even though we got lucky, I definitely do recommend a reservation. We started with a beer and pomegranate martini and then progressed into our meal after noshing on complimentary bread. Instead of doing traditional entrees we both ordered a salad and then shared two sides. I had the warm roasted vegetable salad and my husband had the baby spinach and farro salad. Both were great and it I don't think you could go wrong with either. To indulge a bit we also shared sides of roasted brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. We were both super hungry when we arrived and both left totally stuffed but everything was so good! Aside from a few Hershey's minis on the way out, we skipped dessert. Very nice interior with lots of wood trim, bold bulky lodge type furnishings, and a beautiful stained glass ceiling. A bit impressive, relaxing and enjoyable. Hosts were friendly and quick. Our waitress was very efficient, nice, helpful. The food was presented well too. But for the price, a little more was expected. I feel it was general fare that one gets at any restaurant bar (and cheaper) that is (cooked prefrozen ingredients) simply assembled together, not cooked and created by a chef. I found the beef on the sandwich way too salty (which is often what frozen meats are like) and the lentil burger not anything like any burger at all (was more like a warm firm dip or side of beans). The mixed drink I ordered was good, basic, but a little light on the alcohol. Over all, the place is welcoming, clean and pleasant, but pricey for what offered. read more

We always enjoyed our experiences here. And during covid where safety precautions were in full effect, we'd especially like to support favorites. This review is for restaurant week 2020! We ordered an old fashioned and a Hershey signature chocolate martini where the aromatics were pretty consistent throughout. We both could say the same throughout our menu choices. Despite a country fried steak entree which was decadent upon presentation and tasted more pleasant than it sounded, my personal favorite had to be the hot cauliflower soup. For dessert, there were two choices between the torte and the chocolate cake. We had one of each. The torte had a beautiful presentation but was slightly dry even though it was still good. After a shared slice of the chocolate cake, I wish I had that! Service was amazing as usual and even gave me a free reusable very pretty mask in lieu of forgetting mine in my other bag at home! read more

So, four of us came here before a show at the Hershey Theatre. Overall, I would say it was just ok. My wife and I shared 1 rib entree and I had the she crab soup. Our friends had the loaded chips and the burger. The crab soup had chunks of crab on top and the soup was good, but I had better for less (it was $10). As to the ribs, again, they were just ok. We had 2 drinks also. With 1 bowl of soup, a shared ribs entree, and 2 drinks, it was ~$90. To me, that is a little high for what we got. The place was nice though so I guess you pay for that. I wish I could give more stars. The ambiance was great - beautiful view. However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the battered fish and it was an incredibly small serving for the price. Heavy on the breading light on the fish. The brussel sprouts tasted like char, really it was hard to eat them but I was so hungry from my small fish serving that I powered through. I don't know why I don't learn. I am writing this review to remind myself not to come back here lol. We came last night for our anniversary. We were sitting in a table by the window. That smell I mentioned in my previous review was still present. OH well. The service was decent but our waiter's mask was hanging off his face the whole time. At this point, wear it or don't, but if you're going to wear it, at least wear it correctly. We started with the Troeg's beer cheese curds which were very good. My drink was the strawberry mule and it was weak for $14. I'd stick to beer here. For my entree I got the beef tenderloin special with crispy potatoes and broccoli. The beef was cooked perfectly but I wasn't a fan of the sauce and everything on my plate was SO salty I couldn't even eat it. My mother in law got the salmon and it was SUPER salty. My husband got the chicken schnitzel and it was bland lol. I don't understand. The food is so expensive which we don't mind partaking in but when you're getting food that isn't even palatable - its not fun to spend this kind of money. When the server cleared our plate it didn't even seem to phase him that our plates were mostly full. When I told him that it was so salty he said "Yeah we get that a lot". They did wish us a Happy Anniversary with some yummy strawberries covered in chocolate so that was nice but NEVER again for this food! Fool me once, shame on you. I have been coming to Harvest for years and all I can say is that it is the best Farm to Fork restaurant! First, Harvest is located at the Harvest Plaza located at the Hershey Hotel. When you walk in to Harvest you are welcomed by a sign stating that all of Harvest's ingredients are local. After that, there is a large, comfortable waiting room on your right and on your left an area stating Hershey's upcoming activities. Harvest's main dining room is beautiful with a nice mixture of booths and seats that come with beautiful views of the hotel's property. When it comes to the menu, Harvest is just amazing. They have great drinks and food. First, they provide your table with a variety of breads including delicious rolls and biscuits. When it comes to appetizers they have some amazing items! My personal favorites are the calamari, the pirogies and their classic crab soup. Their entrees are also delicious as well. You can't go wrong with their salmon, rotisserie chicken or hanger steak. Finally, the desserts here are solid. Their baked Alaska and their pie of the day are a must try! The staff here is not always great, but they consistently get the job done in an efficient amount of time. Finally, they have an arcade attached to the restaurant! The restaurant itself is located at the back of hotel Hershey if you have trouble finding this restaurant like I did. Their dinner menu has a lot of items to choose from. We were full after eating this snack and we still didnt finish everything it came with! I also recommend their she crab soup, which by far has been the BEST I've had in Pennsylvania to date, very very creamy. As for their entrees, we shared their Hershey's cocoa barbecue ribs! It's a must if you are in Hershey's to try everything that has chocolate in their menu! Their ribs were very good and very different from anything I've tried in the past, thus I highly recommend this plate! As for their cocktails, I had their Hershey's kisses chocolate signature martini which was ok but nothing special or wow for me. We finished our dinner with their Brooke which was also ok, would not order again. The restaurant itself is located in the hotel Hershey vicinity, thus it's definitely an experience to eat here and to venture out looking at the outdoor beauty of hotel Hershey. My experience was just okay. The restaurant is easy to find with plenty of signs directing you. Upon arrival my party and I were seated promptly with our reservation times. The outside patio area looked nice with fire pits and corn hole boards, although we we ate inside the restaurant by the windows which was a great view. The reason for only 3 stars is the lack of service and dirty floors Once seated I noticed the floor at our table was with food, I'm assuming from diners before us. The server didn't come for a solid 5 minutes to give our party water. Once he did arrive to fill our water cups, he didn't introduce himself, tell us about daily specials, or service you'd expect at true Hershey Hotel. Several times our drinks ran dry and we waited a bit for him to return with refills. The food was amazing, which is unfortunate paired with the lack of service. We shared the bavarian pretzel cheese board which was a huge portion and hit for our table. It was plated perfectly and was plentiful. We ordered several lobster Mac and cheese plates and although I felt the size was on the smaller size was cooked perfectly. Overall, I may return to give the service another chance, however the dirty floors are a complete turn off for me. read more

We went for Easter and our 18th anniversary. They greated us wishing us a happy anniversary! They are friendly. The big issue is in the past I've given it 5 stars I'm sad to say it wasn't good my food was cold the roast chicken and very salty ! To me food is usually over salted when it's not fresh,crazy for farm to fork!! I sent it back and I'm a weirdo I don't like people touching my food! They pushed all my food together to nuke it ! Gross!!!! My kids had regular burgers very large hockey pucks and that was medium! My kids are like me don't like to send things back so they filled up on appetizer and just picked... The appetizer potato Ruben's pretty clever and good. Went there for Thanksgiving and the main star of the dish turkey was nothing close to tasting like an authentic toasted turkey and for $60 a plate one would expect that a homemade roll with butter would be included. While staying at the Hotel Hershey for my 40th birthday celebration, my sisters and I left another restaurant that wasn't so great in search of dessert somewhere else. After looking at the dessert menu for Harvest, we headed straight over but when we arrived they told us it would be about a half hour wait. We asked if it would be possible to get dessert "to-go" back to our room and even though this is obviously something they don't normally do, they brought us out some menus and placed an order with the chef for us! They put all of our little cakes and ice creams in to-go containers and had us on our way in no time. Our room wasn't too far but it was a little walk, yet our ice cream wasn't even a bit melted by the time we got back! I'm telling you, this whole Hershey place is magical. They made me feel like an absolute princess for my birthday everywhere I went and Harvest was one more top notch guest experience. The desserts were incredible, by the way.
