Located inside the Hershey Hotel, this spot is a must-visit if you're in Pennsylvania for Hershey. The décor reflects the hotel's rich history, adding to the charm. We stopped in for drinks and sat at the bar, while most people around us were enjoying the brunch. The spread looked incredible, but we learned that during brunch hours, they don't offer a regular menu--so no small snacks like peanuts or crackers were available. Our bartender, Travis, was fantastic. I ordered the Fig and Starry Night, and it did not disappoint--I was feeling a little tipsy since we hadn't eaten beforehand! My friend had the customized Espresso Eclipse, made dairy-free, and she really enjoyed it. The ambiance was great, with a circular bar offering a nice view from any seat. I'd love to come back on a hungry stomach to try their weekend brunch--it was packed even during the off-season!

We recently spent an evening at The Circular in Hershey and we were significantly underwhelmed. While many love The Circular, we struggle to understand why. Whimsical as it may be, the service, specifically management, and food do not match the cost. Our servers were generally very good. However, one of the male runners had black fingernail polish that looked like it was applied with an El Marko magic marker. At this level of dining, servers and runners should be sharp and clean, as should their hands that are presenting dishes to guests. As a flagship restaurant of the Hershey Hotel, one would think that the experience would have a Hershey Chocolate theme. This is not the case and is a failing of management. So many lost opportunities here. Our interaction with the manager on the floor was very disappointing. Not a smile to be had from the manager. Just barking orders to staff and a miserable countenance. This transfers to guests and can ruin a dining experience. Now on to the food. It was mid. Every dish was just mid, or less. The Steak Tartare was the worst we've had. The red onion marmalade made the meat taste like metal, making it almost inedible. The baby gem caesar salad was dry and boring and the lobster bisque was, frankly, gross. More could be said about the entrees, but out of respect for this long-established restaurant, we'll end this one here. No plans to return.

We've been here three times, once for their Bunch and then dinner. It is located inside the hotel Hershey and the circular room is in fact "half" circular with wonderful views of the estate. The architecture in the building leading to the restaurant is fantastic. The first visit the food and service was great. The brunch with a chocolate themed with a little bit more energy. The ambiance is good. However, food quality and presentation on the last visit was par for the course.Great staff and host!

My family is very familiar with Hershey but we hadn't yet been to the Circular. We heard great things so after my cousin graduated from college we went here for dinner as a family. The restaurant and hotel is beautiful! Very classy place and friendly staff. The food was also amazing! I got the scallops, filet mignon, and lemon blueberry dessert. I have a gluten allergy and they took that very seriously and even made sure they took off a fried piece on the scallops to avoid cross contamination. Everything was so good and I'd come back for the food for sure. The only downside was the wait. We waited forever for everything. Even drinks. They also forgot a few things like my family's bread and some drinks. Even though it was a Friday night they weren't that busy so it was a bit frustrating. At least the food was worth the wait!

The morning breakfast buffet had some decent items. The made to order omelette was terrible - picture included below. Our waitress asked for our drink order but never brought them over. Not the best experience. A lot of the food needed to be refilled too.

Food, Services & Ambiance were spectacular. Manny, our server did a great job. My pan seared scallops and king salmon was cooked perfectly. Full of flavor and side vegetables were perfectly cooked not too soft, just perfect. Filet mignon could be cut with a butter knife. Chocolate for two dessert topped off a great meal.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The service was fantastic and so was the ambiance. The food was just a little overpriced for the serving size in my opinion. The salted caramels however were absolutely delicious!

Fancy dinner at the hotel. Had a great steak and a divine dirty martini. The caramel truffles was a nice treat. We should have saved room for the chocolate martinis! Beautiful dinner to cap off a relaxing spa weekend.

I had a delicious filet mignon here the other day and short rib a year prior. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Hershey.

What kind of food items are served during Sunday Brunch? Is prime rib served every Sunday? What about the oysters & tuna poke?

Yes prime rib, shrimp, oysters, not sure on tuna poke but they do have some raw fish. It's def worth a try if you in Hershey.

He kept the group entertained, was incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We also lucked out with a great group of people on the tour, which added to the fun atmosphere. Doug did an excellent job explaining the brewing process and showing us the production facility. One of the highlights was when he stopped at one of the large fermentation tanks and poured everyone a sample of unfinished beer. It was a unique experience and very interesting to taste beer at that stage of production. The best part of the tour came at the end when we gathered around a bar and sampled several different beers. Doug explained the characteristics of each one, making it both educational and enjoyable. The brewery itself is huge, with plenty of seating, a great food menu, and a wide variety of beers to choose from. The tour costs $15, and you even get a beer before the tour begins, which makes it an excellent value. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping in for a cold beer and booking the tour. It was an absolute blast and one of the best brewery experiences we've had.

The menu immediately caught my eye with its local flair, and it did not disappoint. They happened to be hosting trivia night, which was such a fun surprise and gave the place great energy. I ordered the chef's special crabcake sandwich, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!
