It was a bit difficult to find from that side, even with his directions, as once again NO signs. They had plenty of signs for locating your building and room... so why wouldn't they add signs for finding food and getting more $$ out of their patrons?? Once we finally found it with the hope of not being towed, we also saw where the main parking was - a HUGE lot out front. The service inside was great. They even had gluten-free blueberry muffins that were so good I almost wolfed it down before getting a photo. Fluffy and moist... not a brick or dry like most GF baked goods. They had other GF baked goods listed as well, but none were in stock. Hubs got a breakfast sandwich that he said was really good. We both got mochas - his was supposed to be iced and they made it hot (happens a lot, actually), but it was "fine"... Mine was basically a melted Reese's cup and OMG. Hands down one of THE BEST coffees I've EVER had. We will definitely be back... this time in the correct parking lot! ‍

Why? The opportunity to experience the live painting artwork by Bryan "Prolifik" Hickman, artist and creator of the Tuskegee Airman mural on the side wall of Coda Rouge. The added ambiance of Singer's Lounge, Phebe West, singing lovely, familiar tunes. And last but not least, the intimacy of meeting Coda Rouge chef, Sachiko Tashiana, who trained under renowned chef Wolfgang Puck. I'm not sure why I never noticed the sound equipment, but I was here one night when some artists held an acoustic jam and spoken word night. It was a lot of fun. The only complaint I have about the place any more is that occasionally they will host a live show and you'll get chased out if you don't buy tickets for the show.
