The only negative I see is with the kids menu pricing. I'm absolutely okay with resort style pricing, but a $13 bowl of cereal on the kids menu is a bit overkill. I say that because it is very clean, well kept, and clearly run with consistency in mind, while still keeping the diner theme. The menu is better than what you would expect from a typical diner. The food and selections feel specific to the area, and what we had was quite good. Service was very friendly and paced about right, not notably fast or slow. Overall, this is a solid choice for a family breakfast or brunch, especially if you want a diner feel with a higher quality menu and you are already in the area. I would go back. read more

We stayed at Hershey Lodge and tried Stacks. They had Gluten free options which was nice! They have both pancakes and toast! Ashlynn was the manager on duty and I honestly feel like she needs a shout out. She was working her tail off and not idly sitting by micro managing. She was helping the servers out in every which way from bussing tables to bringing out food and checking on the customers! The food was delicious! Good sized portions too which is nice as well! Excellent dining! Loved the breakfast menu. Be sure to try the bacon deviled eggs and the candied bacon. Savy, our server was great and very attentive. The restaurant was nice with a retro flair. Wow I have never seen so many chocolate infused breakfast meals! My kids went nuts for this place. I left with a mild stomachache because I ate too much. But I would do it again. Stacks looks a bit like a classic diner but with a more modern aesthetic. There are of course a bunch of tables, booths, and a counter. With multiple kids in tow, we opted for a booth. Now do not fret if you want to skip chocolate for breakfast; there are many breakfast options that are chocolate free. But I think you owe it to yourself to try the different donuts, Smores stacks, or other chocolate infused treats. If you are eating here, you probably are on vacation so go for it! read more

We finally had a chance to visit Stacks for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Being winter we ate inside, and we were plenty comfortable in one of the booths. The outside tables looked comfortable as well, so we're already looking forward to eating outside when the weather permits. Everything on the menu sounds great, and it's unfortunate that we had to narrow it down to just two entrees. I opted for the breakfast quesadilla, with a side of million dollar bacon, and my wife went with the frittata. The quesadilla was perfectly crispy and was possibly the best I ever had. My wife says the same about the frittata. This is a first class restaurant that seems like it was started by people who love good food and like being creative with the menu. They also know how a quality restaurant should be run. The only cautionary note is that it's slightly more expensive than your average breakfast diner. By that I mean instead of paying about $17 per person, you'll pay around $20. In our opinion it's well worth the extra cost! read more

My sister and I stopped at Stacks for lunch. It's not easy to hear in there as the space is industrial in nature. I ordered poached eggs, which came with deep fried pre- formed " hash browns". My eggs were floating in a lot of watery vinegar. My sister ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. it was mediocre at best. Service was slow and we had to ask for our checks after waiting a while for them. Eating at Stacks can be hit or miss. You may pay a lot for disappointing food and service. read more

We rolled in pretty early on a Sunday, 8am. It was still quiet and a lot of seating available. The rush rolled in around 9:30am and went 0 to 60 on hustle and bustle. Our waitress, Cheyenne B., was super accommodating and amazing. She went above and beyond! We ordered chicken and waffle [singular], crab Benedict, and got 2 kids pancakes. Donuts x4, 2 for in resto and 2 to go. Cheyenne offered the donut stack since each donut was about 3.5$ as an option, very thoughtful. She also left the coffee kettle on the table for my disposal, thank you! My significant other was kinda caught off guard with how basic the chicken and waffle was and did not like the waffle, but the chicken was good. Fan of the crab Benedict, kinda was missing out on a bit of acidity and did not have any hot sauce added on, so maybe that's why I felt it was lacking :[ The kids pancake was big :] melt in your mouth , good. Stacks at the Hershey Lodge is a great Brunch location when it comes to enjoying a great atmosphere while having a nice selection of Breakfast options. We had the Chicken and Waffles and BLT. The GREEN tomato in the BLT was a nice touch and was very flavorful. The waffle was well done and the gravy as well, but the chicken patty left some to be desired since it wasn't a real breast. Yes, it was a well made patty, but still, nothing beats a real piece of Chicken Breast! I recommend this one, but it is a pricy one since it's attached to a resort. To start, we were staying at the Hershey Lodge for a conference and food options were limited to the hotel itself. I was really excited for a great breakfast which left me wanting a lot more...and with a slight headache. To start, the coffee selection (on paper) seemed super good and tastey. I ordered a hot chocolate with 2 shots of espresso (which was a small cup totaling $8), others ordered iced coffee beverages that has about 2 shot glassess full of sugary syrup on the bottom of the glass. These coffees were overaly sweet and almost undrinkable. The side of candied bacon was cold, with the regualr bacon having a very artificial smokey flavor to it. The hasbrowns were also cold and seemed to have been dipped in oil right before being served. Lastly, the english muffin on the bottom of the eggs was hard and hard to cut through. In total, my meal and a drink were ~$45 for 1. For this price, I was expecting a lot more. The service was good and there were really understanding when it came to splitting the check 6 ways. read more

The service was great here and a very trendy looking place however, the food was just ok and for a whopping cost of $57 for 2 people for breakfast, my husband and I won't be back. My husband had the Meatlovers Egg Bowl and I had Eggs Benedict with 2 hash browns that came with the dishes. We ordered a side of sausage links, orange, coffee and a soda. What a great breakfast place. Everything was delicious and the staff were so friendly, especially Savy and Katelyn. We sat at the counter and I liked that it was an open kitchen. I had a bacon, tomato, and cheese omelette with hash browns. I like the environment and decoration at the Stacks, clean and modern looking. Staff is friendly and quick but i think the food and drink could use some improvement. I ordered a couple of dishes: breakfast nacho, peanut butter waffle, meat lover bowl, and a mocha. The breakfast nacho looks great but it needs more seasoning. The peanut butter waffle is way too sweet so it's quite difficult to eat. Same goes for the mocha. The best dish is the meat lover bowl, it was seasoned well and the harsh brown was delicious. We dined here for the first time as part of our stay and play package from the Hershey Lodge. The food was really good, love the variety offered. In our large party we tried almost everything on the menu and it was all very good. There was confusion upon check out at the lodge with our bill and the manager Ashlyn had to come to the lodge to help us bc NO ONE at the front desk could help us, in fact in the hour we waited the front desk manager couldn't be found! The food here is definitely 3.5 stars, but I rounded up because the service is good and the staff are all very friendly and pleasant. We came here for Sunday brunch. I was very impressed with their cocktails menu! I had the breakfast margarita which consisted of tequila, triple sec, lime juice, orange marmalade and sour mix. It was delicious and a perfect brunch drink. For my meal, I had the ultimate grilled cheese, which was good. It came with tomato soup to dip, which was a nice touch. However I feel like the soup was a bit bland. I would say that the food here was a half-step above "okay". Nothing to write home about in my opinion. But like I said, the staff were very friendly which is always a plus. I would probably return to Stacks, but it would not be my first choice. read more

Dined here for breakfast with my family and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my 2 young children and our party's food allergies. We were worried, but our waitress Alyssa reassured us they would take great care, and they did. The chef came out to speak with us, and the manager even brought out the chocolate milk so I could double check the ingredients. I thought prices were fair. I'd love to see a little more variety in the menu, like a creative salad or a breakfast entree that isn't so egg-centric. We were there during a seminar. Line was out the door and they closed a bar area where they could've sat more people. The wait was longer than our 1.5 hour lunch break and the food was ok. My husband had a BLT and I had a salad. I had wilted bad lettuce throughout my salad. When we were waiting for our to-go order we watched the chaos. There was no organization, some servers were standing around talking about other people to their co-workers. There was also an older gentleman there when we arrived. After waiting 25 minutes to get our order we saw it come out. They went to give it to the man and then realized it wasn't his. He was STILL there when we left!! My friends and I had brunch at Stacks on Sunday and really liked it. The food was great, especially the cinnamon croissant beignets with Special Dark ganache!
