This will be my favorite place for Saturday breakfast or brunch moving forward. My daughter has celiac and it's so hard to get good breakfast for her and she absolutely loved it here! Let's talk about how beautiful the inside is. Definitely cozy and comfortable. Very open and spacious.. a variety of sofas , chairs and tables to sit. From bar stools to a long nice table if you come with a group. The food is delicious. We got the the special which was a bacon , egg & cheese on a bagel with pest mayo . It was our first time coming for breakfast. You place your order at the counter then you are given a number to put on your table. When you get to your table, there is a tray with water and glasses, as well as silverware and condiments. My daughter got a latte and it was delivered quickly. I had the traditional breakfast with an easy egg, potatoes, bacon and sourdough bread. The eggs were perfectly, the potatoes had rosemary on them I would've liked them to be crispier as I requested but they tasted fine. The bacon was undercooked so I had to take out the fatty parts. It was as if they pre-cooked it but didn't cook it before they put it on my plate. My daughter got the waffle. She loved the jam, butter and syrup! It was a good size portion. A can of soda cost me over three dollars so I'll just stick with the water the next time. The place has a fun vibe with lots of nicely decorated areas. For a breakfast or brunch place in PA this was pretty good. I was happy to find this option among other fast food places. The service is quick and easy, could be friendlier but it was acceptable. The space is cute with plants and natural decor. We had the breakfast with eggs, Nutella toast, stuffed pancakes and keto Cali bowl. My husband said he wouldn't order the Cali bowl again and I wasn't blown away by the stuffed pancakes. Again, a better option off the highway than others around but the food was just ok. read more

I was craving waffles and this came up in my search. It's a unique restaurant, but understaffed. The food was good, but there was only 1 person at the front counter acting as both cashier and barista, so it took about 15 minutes to get my order in. She was also acting as the waitress and brought the food out to the table. It looked like maybe one person in the back cooking and one out front for customers. The tables are self seating and there are menus available to view. There is a counter/bar where you place orders and pay. The staff then bring your food and drinks to your table. Our Saturday morning breakfast began with a surprise. I have enjoyed the food and beverages from Tomato Pie Cafe more than 60 times over the years; today we found that TPC is transitioning to The Table and we are very pleased with what we found inside. All of the old favorites are still available, from the Parmesan Grit Cakes to the Raw Cappuccino, as well as the signature Tomato Pie. I enjoyed a lavender mocha and my husband had a pumpkin spice latte. The coffee was smooth, with no burnt taste or smell. We learned that the coffee beans are now being roasted on site using an environmentally friendly roaster. We can't wait to try a bag of the beans at home. My husband gravitates to the pumpkin spice menus every fall. He chose the Pumpkin Cream Sveler for breakfast. A sveler is a Norwegian pancake. The texture of the pancake is less "flourly", and showcases the flavors in the dish nicely. The pumpkin filling was light in texture and pumpkin forward in flavor. Our little one had a pumpkin muffin and ate most of it without complaint. The texture was very moist. The Pretzel Breakfast sandwich with the egg, bacon, and spinach has been my go-to since it was first offered at TPC. I was pleased to find this is still offered and with the choice of the same sauces. I enjoy the raspberry mustard on this sandwich very much. It pairs well with the pretzel. I'm told that Olio's Lemon White Balsamic will still be available and it is my favorite condiment to have with the grit cakes. Overall I am very happy with the changes taking place at this location as well as the things that are staying the same. The deco is pleasant. The food & beverages are good. This was my first time here and I honestly probably wouldn't go back unless I was getting takeout. It was very confusing walking in and no sign or direction about having to find your own table. We then had to wait a very long time to get our food and drinks with one of the orders not being correct. I will say the food was very good though. Everyone here is friendly and if you sit at the counter you'll get to chat a little while brtween them taking orders or making drinks. The cappuccino and cold brewed coffee are perfect. The facility is crisp and clean. The only little thing I dont care for is that it is an order at the register place where they give you a number that you place on the table. This seems to cause confusion for some people and can be awkward. Since the menu has plenty to offer, you also have people jammed up reading the menus before ordering. To me that process is best for small coffee shops that serve a couple food items. This is more of a restaurant. My first time in I walked in and plopped at the counter. Nobody said anything for a while then I realized what the system was and got in line. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone in that area or padsing through. I used to love Tomato Pie and haven't tried the Table since their renovation. I decided to give it a try. Came in on a Sunday around 11:00am, the place was crowded. You order at the front cashier and need to find a table for yourself. There were barely any table and they didn't have any people to help you with seating so i don't know how it would be around peak hours. I tried their Roasted Beet Salad, Meet Lover Bowl, and Tomato Bisque. I would say the flavors were quite mild and underseasoned. I also found their menu a tad bit boring. Not a lot of exciting choices. The food also didn't come out together, we had to wait for a long time for everything. On a different note, their coffee is great. read more

I had originally sat down at the coffee bar and was ignored as this is where people sit waiting for their orders. Tons of coffee drink options. I went for the full on chicken and waffle experience. The waffle was thin and light, hint of vanilla flavor. The chicken was down exceptionally well and had a great crunch from the cornflake topping. We ordered the Pretzel Breakfast Sandwich, the Meats Bowl and Sveler. All were delicious and the flavors are surprisingly delightful. The only issue I had was our coffees came out and were finished before our food arrived which was 30 minutes later. As someone who has had many pumpkin cream cold brews from starbucks, I will say this one is much much better! You order at the counter and then grab a seat anywhere. Stopped in the other day with hubby and daughter for breakfast. We had never been to this establishment before now so I won't be comparing it to the place it was before. Hubby and I each had the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I opted for the raspberry honey mustard and paid the up charge for a Vaffel. It was good, but not worth the up charge. I'd definitely order this again but just have it on the pretzel roll. Hubby had the same sandwich but with siracha. He enjoyed his very much as well. Daughter had the Vaffel and enjoyed it.
