Stopped in to grab a spring latte before running some errands. It is one of my favorite coffees. The service was nice and it was a perfect start to a productive day.

Stopped in to get something before work. Convenient location downtown. Some street parking. Small location with some bar style window seating. The service was ok. Girls on their phones that did not see me walk in until I said hi. I ordered a nitro and it had ice in it, which is not how I typically have nitro.. Unfortunately it watered it down. It was just ok.

As many of us do, I traveled for Memorial Day weekend this year. While passing through Harrisburg I looked up where I could get coffee, because surely I could find a good cup of Joe in Harrisburg (and I wouldn't have to settle for gas station coffee on my road trip). Yelp led me to Denim Coffee and I was not disappointed. Denim Coffee is a small shop on a corner that contains a lot of personality in its cozy space. The very tall windows (complete with window seats) let in lots of light, which created a bright and cheery space to walk into. I glanced over a small shelf of coffee brewing products for sale while waiting in line, although the shelf takes up very little space compared to the coffee bar itself (rightfully so!). I quickly got the sense that this coffee shop puts the emphasis on good "ordinary" coffee brews above all else. Denim Coffee serves a small, focused menu that features your classic coffee options - Americano, latte, mocha, etc. I did see some chai-based options as well, but nothing else in the way of non-coffee drinks. Also, they seemed to only have four syrup flavors - I remember seeing vanilla, chocolate, sugar-free vanilla, and caramel. I decided on an iced caramel latte, the perfect drink to beat the heat while wandering through the ArtsFest. My first sip further confirmed that Denim Coffee puts the focus on coffee first and foremost. I barely tasted the caramel flavor at all, and while I could tell the milk had "mellowed" the espresso somewhat, said espresso was still the dominant ingredient in every sip I took. (This isn't a complaint on my part, but it's definitely a heads up if you're not a fan of drinks that go heavy on the espresso!) While I can see this little shop getting crazy busy during a rush, I had no problems and was pleased with my drink. No pastries for me this time, but perhaps there will be a chance to try one during a future trip!

Solid coffee, okay cookie, good service Up early, looking for a good coffee. There was this place and another to try, so went to this one first. Place is relatively small. Staff was very friendly, offered their recommendations based on my coffee preferences. They only do light and medium roasts, and I got a hand pour of their darkest medium. I also got a cookie, because cookie. I like their setup. They got a hot water sprayer that's set to perfect temp. They fresh ground the beans and wet the v60 filter. Their process was correct and they brewed a good cup. For a medium roast, it hit all the right notes. Bright, a little acidic, tart but mellow. I'm not the biggest fan of the sharpness of light/medium blends, but it was well executed. The cookie was a cookie. Chocolate wasn't great and the sea salt didn't have any major sweetness to play off of. So it was just salty. Texture was hard but not crunchy nor brittle. Overall, the coffee was good. Price was standard for a hand pour, about $6 for a 16oz. A good choice if you need some fancier coffee to get you up and running

Service: 10/10 super nice women working this morning, and service was fast! Ambiance: more of a grab and go coffee spot, No tables inside to sit at just a bar along the windows. Very cute Food: I grade my coffee shops on how well they make a cappuccino, I feel like it's the bare minimum for a coffee shop. My cappuccino was warm but it was a latte as there was WAYY too much milk! I still drank the coffee and it was fine but not my favorite!

Denim Coffee is a cute spot to swing in and grab coffee on your way to work or out and about for the day. I was in town for a few days for work and walked over to try a hot vanilla caramel latte with oatmilk. It was so good I went back and got it again the next day. Whenever I'm in Harrisburg, I'll definitely be stopping by!

Cool shop and cool location. Right next to the capital and we were here while the cherry blossoms were in bloom. Staff was kind of standoffish, but they were nice. Coffee tasted great.

Ordered a refreshing frappe on a hot summer day. A good way to start my morning! The coffee shop is cute with bar seating overlooking tbe street corner. The stools are comfortable and stylish. Several people were inside working on their laptops.

Our Thursday morning . Vanilla latte and Nicaraguan beans (only 14 dollars a great value)

Denim coffee is a wonderful little coffee shop. It is in a great location and the baristas were very friendly and helpful! They helped us pick out coffee beans that were best suited for a pour over and explained each of their products to us! The latte and cappuccino were an excellent texture and the locally sourced flavored syrups were excellent the vanilla bean syrup was definitely worth it and I will be visiting when I return!

This place was right by my Airbnb and people in the Airbnb reviews raved about it! I had to try it out! The place is adorable with lots of seating by the windows that overlook the street. The pumpkin macchiato was absolutely creamy and delicious! They had pastries and other yummy treats available. The staff is super friendly and made my drink quickly! Try this place out- you won't regret it!

Great little coffee shop with a great view of downtown across from the Capitol Complex. Barista was fantastic - fast & friendly ...had the place hummin' like a well-oiled machine. My coffee choice wasn't overly fancy ..but was a really good cup ...and the cookie I had with it was equally good. A nice cozy little place to relax for a bit and watch the city go by! If you're looking for a great downtown coffeehouse experience - this place is for you!

Absolutely bright and clean coffee shop. Large windows look out to Temple University at one corner. Very friendly staff. They offer unique pastries - apple hand pies, almond white chocolate scone, and what seems to be large shortbread cookies! I ordered a chai tea latte, it was made well.

Cute little spot. Coffee and treat was good and prices weren't too crazy compared to some coffee shops these days. Staff was friendly.

Love the coffee here. My go to is the vanilla latte - hot or cold. Recommend pairing it with their cornbread cookie!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and everything came out quickly. There's some street parking available, plus a parking lot on the side, which makes it easy to stop in. They were consistently bustling no matter the time, but thankfully there was ample seating with plenty of natural light. The adjacent room also had numerous outlets, which made it ideal for studying. There was only one person working during my visits, so the wait for my drinks stretched to nearly 30 minutes. The menu wasn't the largest, offering a small selection of dependable staples with a few seasonal additions. *Strawberry Matcha: deeply earthy with a splash of milk. Most of the sweetness comes from the macerated strawberries at the bottom. A very well executed matcha option. *Pumpkin Chai: the pumpkin added gentle sweet and savory notes that paired nicely with the spiced chai. The spices and sweetness were subtle and, thankfully, not overshadowed by the milk. That said, there was some mild separation after my slow sipping. Overall, this was a stellar spot to chat over well crafted drinks. The abundance of outlets was both helpful and convenient. However, they truly need more than one person behind the counter to improve the overall pace of service.

In addition to coffee and tea, they offer breakfast sandwiches and pastries, along with locally made goods such as flavored balsamic vinegar, customized Keurig pods, candles, and chocolates. The main area has standard tables, while comfortable couches and chairs are tucked away behind a vault door. They offer a regular menu as well as a monthly rotating board. *Egg, Cheese, and Sausage Sandwich: was served on an everything bagel. While nothing stood out as exceptional, the components were serviceable. The egg was slightly dry, and the sausage was salty and greasy. The bagel was fluffy, but the overall texture was quite soft throughout. A sauce would have added depth, spice, or acidity and improved the sandwich. *Sweater Weather Chai: was a seasonal blend of chai and hot cocoa. Although it leaned sweet due to the cocoa, the spiced chai still came through clearly. It was a comforting and rich drink with deep chocolate flavor. *Nutcracker Chai: another seasonal offering. The chai was once again fragrant and warming with subtle praline notes. However, it could have been served a bit hotter as it arrived slightly tepid. Bason Coffee Roasting offers great ambiance and consistently good chai. I would likely pick up a sandwich elsewhere nearby and stop here primarily for drinks.
