Overall I really like the space and it's quiet enough of weekdays to get some work done. Otherwise, everything else is p average-- coffee itself is decent but nothing to go crazy for. Tried a few of their specials and they don't really hit the spot for me but it's not bad either

Service is always fast and pleasant. The parking can be tough and fill up fast. I love the seating and relaxed indoor environment. Small menu but I'm not a huge breakfast person I came for coffee mostly and it's really good here. If you eat there they give you in a nice big cup! Would definitely return.

Thank you so very much for making me the most memorable pumpkin latte! It's thank you Thursday on Yelp and your latte totally rocked my world!! Best pumpkin latte I have ever ever tasted!

What I love about Elementary Coffee, aside from their incredible coffee, is they embrace the role they play in their community. Emblazoned on their large window is information about rent assistance and the phrase BLACK LIVES MATTER. Inside a table contains information and ways to support local LGTBQIA groups. If you care about these things and live in the Harrisburg area, Elementary Coffee gives you a decent jumping off point for getting involved and/or learning more. Now, about that coffee. I was intrigued by Elementary's TOLTEC drink which is their cold brew coffee mixed with habanero cocoa syrup and served with your choice of milk. A brief conversation with the barista convinced me that this was the way to go. As milk alternatives, Elementary offers oat and almond. I went with oat milk. The drink was sweet and smooth with a nice slow after burn. Had I had more time in town, I would've totally gone back for another. It was that good. For the rest of my family, who don't do coffee, it was lemonade and cookies. My wife was blown away by how good their lemonade was. Weeks later and she is still trying to recreate it. My kids crushed the cookie so I'm assuming it was decent. One final thing to mention about Elementary Coffee, it was a hot day during our visit. My kids asked for water. When I inquired about it, the barista pointed us to some bottled water that they were giving out free. Yes, FREE. My visit to Elementary Coffee was perfect. Great drinks, a good connection to the community and friendly, informative employees.

Hands down my favourite coffee shop. The quality is amazing, and I love that they use natural flavouring. The staff and owner are the kindness humans you will meet, and I love everything they stand for. It is the most adorable shop and the energy is amazing. Support local businesses!

Excellent coffee shop with the friendliest of barista. Good coffee. Cute seating area. Reasonably priced. I would def return here for any of their drinks.

Cute little shop. I got espresso..which even though I'm not a fan of floral notes in my espresso..it wasn't overwhelming. So if you're like me I'd say to try it. Really good. The presentation..they have rad stainless steel espresso cups. Also...tons of merch. Stickers, pins, clothing, coffee, tumblers, campfire coffee mugs, aeropress. I'd say all in all Elementary is very well rounded. Plenty of room to have a quick coffee..or work for a few hours. A good coffee shop for the community. Sassy, classy, and fun are some words I would use to describe this gem of a coffee shop. They offer a wide variety of drinks and baked goods. Staff was hard at work during a busy Friday and still managed to be be kind and patient. They have some cool shop merch too. Will be back if ever in the area again.

The best iced lavender latte I've had since living near the former Always Brewing on Detroit's West Side, AND they sell cool pins. This one looks kind of like Herman! And finally, they organized the pro-choice protest at the Capitol fountain a couple of weeks ago. They're great comrades. I'm glad to have found my new favorite coffee shop in Harrisburg.

Absolutely phenomenal standalone store in Harrisburg from this Broad Street Market staple. I came in on a dreary weekday afternoon and most of the tables were full of customers working on laptops or chatting with friends. I luckily snagged a spot in the corner. The folks working at the front were helpful in helping me get set up with a coffee and snack. I got: Vegan Chocolate Coffee Donut - great rich chocolate flavor without being too sweet. Definitely a step above the typical vegan dessert, and the only thing that would make it better is having it a bit warmed up! Chocolate Ganache Mocha - HUGE serving with similar rich dark chocolate flavor and the twang of peppermint aftertaste without tasting too artificial. Definitely high quality ingredients that you can taste. I attached the menus and some pics of what I got. 5/5 stars, definitely recommend stopping by!

Right when you walk in, there's a case full of baked goods, including some gluten-free options, which I always appreciate. Everything I've tried from the bakery has been delicious. On this visit, I ordered a lavender Italian soda and a lavender vanilla latte, both were so good, with just the right balance of flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, and everything came out quickly. There's some street parking available, plus a parking lot on the side, which makes it easy to stop in. The space itself leans more on the older side rather than modern, but it adds to the charm and gives off a cozy, historic feel that fits the area perfectly. They also have a bathroom available, which is always a plus. Seating is abundant. Inside (small amount) , on the deck and front of the shop, outside seating to the that is enclosed (temperature controlled) Overall, it's a great little coffee shop on Linglestown Rd and definitely worth checking out if you haven't been yet.

They were consistently bustling no matter the time, but thankfully there was ample seating with plenty of natural light. The adjacent room also had numerous outlets, which made it ideal for studying. There was only one person working during my visits, so the wait for my drinks stretched to nearly 30 minutes. The menu wasn't the largest, offering a small selection of dependable staples with a few seasonal additions. *Strawberry Matcha: deeply earthy with a splash of milk. Most of the sweetness comes from the macerated strawberries at the bottom. A very well executed matcha option. *Pumpkin Chai: the pumpkin added gentle sweet and savory notes that paired nicely with the spiced chai. The spices and sweetness were subtle and, thankfully, not overshadowed by the milk. That said, there was some mild separation after my slow sipping. Overall, this was a stellar spot to chat over well crafted drinks. The abundance of outlets was both helpful and convenient. However, they truly need more than one person behind the counter to improve the overall pace of service.

In addition to coffee and tea, they offer breakfast sandwiches and pastries, along with locally made goods such as flavored balsamic vinegar, customized Keurig pods, candles, and chocolates. The main area has standard tables, while comfortable couches and chairs are tucked away behind a vault door. They offer a regular menu as well as a monthly rotating board. *Egg, Cheese, and Sausage Sandwich: was served on an everything bagel. While nothing stood out as exceptional, the components were serviceable. The egg was slightly dry, and the sausage was salty and greasy. The bagel was fluffy, but the overall texture was quite soft throughout. A sauce would have added depth, spice, or acidity and improved the sandwich. *Sweater Weather Chai: was a seasonal blend of chai and hot cocoa. Although it leaned sweet due to the cocoa, the spiced chai still came through clearly. It was a comforting and rich drink with deep chocolate flavor. *Nutcracker Chai: another seasonal offering. The chai was once again fragrant and warming with subtle praline notes. However, it could have been served a bit hotter as it arrived slightly tepid. Bason Coffee Roasting offers great ambiance and consistently good chai. I would likely pick up a sandwich elsewhere nearby and stop here primarily for drinks.
