It took a while after being seated to greet the table, she asked how our food was about a minute after it arrived, then we didn't see her again until probably 15 mins after we all finished eating. It gets PACKED on the weekend. We had to wait about an hour beginning at 10am. They told us that they would text us when our table was ready and we never got the message. I got the classic omelet and asked for a side of spinach since I don't eat meat. She literally gave me 10 pieces of spinach. I would have though it would have come cooked. Located in downtown Hershey blocks away from the amusement park. We parked on the street on a Friday morning. The restaurant was busy but not packed. I usually order the breakfast tacos which are corn tortillas with avocado,chorizo,cheese and pico de gallo. With a side of black beans. Sometimes the corn tortillas are soggy but not this time! Crunchy and held together well for the stuff goodness that they had to hold. Absolutely delicious! My wife had the avocado toast with a side of scrambled eggs and love it as well. They had honey corn bread minis so we wanted to try them as well with a jam spread and butter. They were really good. They don't take your bill when you're ready to check out. Had I not eaten at Hershey Pantry the previous morning I probably would've been enamored with First Watch. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad meal in any way, just not quite as good as the former. Still, a solid meal with excellent service. Our party of 10 was seated reasonably quickly and very well taken care of by the friendly staff. Iced coffee was on point, opted for the trifecta - eggs perfectly cooked, they were out of the pork sausage I requested but the bacon I got instead was nicely crisp and very tasty, accompanying pancake left a little to be desired, not awful but definitely too dry. Came back to First Watch and had a really good experience. The Barbacoa was flavorful and filling. The only complaint is that the chips are still placed on the bottom, which makes them soggy. Would have preferred them on the side. I also wish the portion was a bit larger. I also got the gluten-free Market Veggie sandwich, and it was great. The bread was soft (which is rare for gluten-free), and I really appreciate how accommodating they are with allergies.
