I've been here multiple times before, as it is a great meeting spot for my sister and I. She attends E Town College and I attend LVC. The food is always delicious. I get the power breakfast bowl and substitute the meat for pico de gallo. I also normally get the Caramel Crunch Coffee, which is a little too sweet, but still delicious. Our server was very friendly, although I don't believe she told us her name. Three employees came up to my sister in the span of ten minutes asking to take her plate. There was still food on it and my sister was obviously not finished... This is always a busy restaurant but it's very disrespectful to rush your customers out the door. We were seated for less than an hour. When we went up to the cash register to pay, we stood in line and then an employee, I believe one of the hostesses, pointed us over. She didn't say a word. Just looked at us and pointed her finger for us to come over. This is food service 101, and quite frankly basic life skills 101 - you never point at someone. It's incredibly rude. She asked what tip I would like to add, since I was paying with a gift card. I told her $5 which was well over 20%. I hope she doesn't get a percentage of tips because she certainly does not deserve it. She kept rolling her eyes and pursing her lips because apparently the gift card wasn't working. She told me quite rudely that it's not working, and that I'll have to pay with my card. She handed the gift card back to me, and pointed at the kiosk as if to tell me to insert my card. My sister asked to try her gift card to pay for my food, and the hostess just kept pointing at the kiosk... she didn't want to take the time to try my sisters gift card I suppose. When it was my sisters turn to pay, her gift card didn't work either. The hostess, once again, rudely said it wasn't working and pointed at the kiosk. My sister and I were obviously upset, as this interaction was a huge disappointment. We never complained or raised our voice, but I believe we both had an expression of shock on our face. A manager came over and told us that we would have to call the number on the back of our gift cards to activate them. Strange how it doesn't tell you that on the gift card... but oh well. It was nice for someone to give us a solution, as the hostess couldn't offer anything but an attitude. The hostess was rude not only to us, but to other customers waiting in line near the register. The staff doesn't wear name tags, so I unfortunately can't drop her name. But she had dark hair, over lined lips, purple nails. My sister and I don't want to return after her attitude and her pointing us around. This woman is working - she is getting paid to be there. Why is she treating customers as if they are a nuisance? I read the reviews before I posted this, and there seems to be an overall vibe that the staff are rude and impatient. Where is First Watch finding these nasty people? They're going to run themselves out of business if this continues. read more

Absolutely we recommend First Watch!! We come here almost every Saturday 1- because we love the food and atmosphere 2- because they open at 7am and having a toddler it's perfect for us! Coffee is always hot and ready to go. We really like the biscuits & gravy and the farmhouse skillet hash! Looking forward to going back next weekend! read more

My first experience with a First Watch was in Pittsburgh and I absolutely loved it. When i found out there was one nearby in Hershey, we had to go! Tip 1: Get there early, or expect to wait. We arrived before 9 AM on a Saturday, and had no problem getting a table. When we were leaving a little after 10 AM, there was a line to get a seat. First suggestion: Their delicious house made juices are AMAZING! There's always something different and it's always worth trying. When I went, I had a watermelon juice with hints of pineapple, mint and lime. It was the perfect summer drink. Now, for the food. I always have a go-to at this restaurant and i am never disappointed. I almost always get the AM Superfoods Bowl - which has coconut milk chia pudding topped with fresh banana, berries, blackberry preserves and house made granola. It is accompanied by whole grain toast with almond butter and sea salt on top. Everything about this meal is delicious and doesn't give me that heavy breakfast feeling I sometimes get when indulging. Their million-dollar bacon is also delicious, and everything my fiancé orders he always has no problem cleaning his plate. He loves all of their egg dishes, and we have split pancakes here before and they are perfectly fluffy and delicious. I frequent the Timonium, MD location so I knew what to expect, superb, unique, hearty meals and great service. What I expected very much occurred. Was up here to take my fiancee to nearby Hershey Gardens, discovered they had a location very close by so we just had to go. We were seated right away and got my iced coffee within two minutes of seating. The coffee was delicious, kinda tasted like chocolate milk which I was a fan of. I got a seasonal entree, Chicken Pesto Hash (the seasonals always hit the spot, definitely try some while you can) and it was fantastic. Portion was a bit small it could have used an extra egg but it was dense and fueled me for the day. One thing that irked me was, for some reason they seated us next to an area where they keep cleaning supplies, resulting in the employees bumping into me in the back of my chair saying "'Scuse me" every two minutes. Certainly they could have seated us elsewhere, it wasn't very crowded, or at least wait until we weren't there? But the server herself was great, very nice and attentive. There used to be a parking garage right behind the restaurant that is free. As with other First Watch locations I have eaten at, it was very busy. But the staff did a great job with the people. I recall going to First Watch a few times when visiting Missouri, years ago. I have fond memories of it being a great basic breakfast place...Something seems to have happened in the interim years since my last visit and they've upped their game to be a bit nicer with more unique modern offerings. Basically this ain't your mamas First Watch. This Hershey, PA location which we ate at before visiting some of the Hershey attractions is a large open space with a modern upscale feel to it. I started with coffee, of course, and was happy to discover it was very good! (Not a given at many American breakfast spots. They give you a coffee pot so you can refill yourself (I even tipped myself after the first refill [not really.]) My wife had Steep brand premium tea...They give you two teabags with the order, which is nice since one is never enough for a properly steeped second cup of tea. So the many has gone from basic breakfast to upscale, new-American without your typical basic breakfast menu that I vaguely recall First Watch having. But all the elements are there such as pancakes and egg dishes. Also, the maple syrup is served warm, so they take their syrup pretty seriously. I had the Market Skillet with egg whites over potatoes. It came with mushrooms, onions and red peppers, along with melted gruyere cheese which I requested instead of the mozzarella it normally comes with. There was a little confusion and they forgot to add the goat cheese which it also was supposed to come with, but the dish didn't really need it and I found it very satisfying. The potatoes were perfect and the portion size was just right for me. It also came with bread (though it didn't say so on the menu) It was a thick, whole grain bread pre-buttered, which tasted good, though I would've probably chosen a biscuit had I known that it came with bread. My wife had a side of scrambled eggs, along with mixed vegetables and grits, all of which was excellent. She said the Bob's Red Mill grits which were perfectly cooked and textured, and didn't need any extra butter or anything. She said the vegetables were the star of the meal. Our kid ate all of his chocolate chip pancakes and really liked it, and he thought the potatoes were excellent as well. I had never heard of First Watch before coming to Hershey, but it's now one of my favorite chains! We love their seasonal specials (the short rib poutine they have right now is to die for) and enjoy going to try each new menu. The Million Dollar Bacon is also delicious and I hope it stays around permanently. Their fresh-pressed juices are great and super refreshing! It's so nice to have a place that serves a delicious breakfast/brunch any day of the week. Truly surprised. Our large group was looking for a place to eat in a hurry and our hotel had an hour wait for their restaurant. Don't believe me just watch...me help myself to another slice of Million $ Bacon. I'll admit I'm tardy to the First Watch breakfast/brunch party but I'll be returning. The location was great and we opted to eat outdoors. We were able to see and hear the excitement of Hershey Park rollercoasters but it wasn't too loud and didn't take away from the experience. This is farm to table style dining so there are seasonal menu changes and you can taste the freshness in each drink and dish. From the juice bar we had the Purple Haze (a blend of lemon, sugar cane, butterfly pea flower tea and lavender) and Watermelon Wake Up, (watermelon, pineapple, lime, and mint). I know this is Hershey, but I wasn't ready the sweetness of "Purple Haze". I would order again but heavy on the ice. The "Watermelon Wake Up" was beyond refreshing and a must. For starters we had to try Million $ Bacon, did it live up to the hype??? Yes it was all bacon should be sweet, salty, and something that I'll be back for. Per the waitresses recommendation we did the French toast & Farmhouse Hash with scrambled egg. It was a great recommendation! I loved the freshness of the everything. Never knew this was a chain cafe and there is one nearby us. We checked out the menu and was impressed with their nutritious breakfast choices. The power bowl was awesome, the sausage and roasted tomatoes added the needed flavors to the quinoa, it was then finished off with two eggs sunny side up, strongly recommended. So I went with some friends glad my friend put in a reservation still waiting just a little bit but small place very chilled ambiance. The staff and friendly and considerate that we were waiting for one more person and then we got apps or sharable. So I saw on Yelp before going ok ratings but I thought ok I'll give it a chance. The cornbread yummy and there was a million Bacon it was ok. They had a farm to table cage free eggs and seasonal menu which that is smart. So I asked about the sausage gravy and biscuits which they still did with eggs and potatoes since we were going to the Hershey theater this is brunch. So I got my meal the biscuits were good but the sausage gravy which it is my favorite part of the meal was ruined because it was pepper happy too much made it spicy. Same with the potatoes I love the eggs cheese is extra which I wish they would have said but not surprised. So it is paid at counter I wish the waitress would have taken it because it was so busy. Not a ton of selection for someone who is kinda picky. Wish I would have had the pancakes instead a bit pricey and would I go again maybe but I don't see this is a half the there are better places before going to the theater. read more
