This was our third time here, we really like this place. We're from Lancaster and we came here for dinner and invited four friends to join us. The food is always delicious and very well made. The service is fast and our waitress was so nice and attentive. The ambiance is nice and quiet, you can talk to others without shouting. My filet mignon was delicious and cooked to perfection (medium rare). It did have a very small grisly area, fairly insignificant but highly unusual for a filet. In spite of this, the overall portion was generous and very enjoyable. Tony's has a nice ambiance for a rather large, open dining area that cannot be called intimate. Service was very good. A bit pricey for the Lebanon area, but a very nice treat. Worthy of return visits. read more

Wow. What a wonderful hidden gem! Such a great place with great ambience, food and service! We reserved the special room for a double family birthday party - 8 of us. The servers were so welcoming and service on par. They joined us in our fun and laughter. We were loud at times - grateful for a private room. Appetizers: focaccia, crab cake, duck confit, French onion soup. I got to taste them all and they were fantastic. Great flavors. Entrees: Rib Cap with a tasty sauce and fingerling taters and turnips, yum! Chilean Sea Bass - so soft and tender, Fillet, Walleye with a crunchy risotto cake and meatloaf. This place has been open for decades-- even though it is in the middle of nowhere! Says something for their cooking for sure! I was fortunate to go with a big group so I got to try a little bit of everything - the steak, which they are known for, their scallops, pasta, every appetizer under the sun, and then the ice cream for dessert - which I believe they source from fox creamery (which if you haven't been, I highly recommend). I seriously have no complaints other than we over ordered and I ate way too much!! Highlights for sure were the perfectly seared steak (they offer steak with a side of steak... in case you are interested), the tomahawk pork chop -- again, perfectly cooked -- the bone marrow appetizer (typically you get a dinky serving when you order that, but this was enough to share with 4 people easily). Drinks were delicious and I was told the Manhattan was on point so don't be afraid to adventure into their cocktail menu Also - the place is just cool and I imagine beautiful in the summer since their dining room faces out into the woods. Tony's has a long history in Cornwall. First as a rough little bar for miners, then in the mid 1970's as a nice steak house. Now, the new owners have elevated the food and service dramatically with a weekly changing menu and a fine professional chef. My wife and I have eaten here almost a dozen times in the last several months and we have always been pleased. Of course, there are some things we really like such as the duck confit en croute appetizer. It is a great starter to share. This past fall they offered a really spectacular duck breast. I wish that was a permanent offering. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, especially by the fireplace on a cold night. read more

Excellent service starting with the hostess who showed us to our table. I didn't catch her name, but she was a former teacher, and she has a great sense of humor! We had 2 tables of 6 for a family function. Dean was our server--excellent attention and kind personality. The food was excellent, and Dean gave accurate and helpful recommendations. Love the eclectic look of this place....very clean and calm inside and great music! We were there a few times when the original owner's daughter had it and it was very nice...they were very accommodating...and we were here in the winter time and sat by the fire pit and I was in heat heaven!!! Very nice meal...this time we fell in lust with the unique food......warmed olives with nice crusted bread.....whipped habanero honey dip with pitas....and Duck Nachos which were awesome! During a long October weekend, we ended up eating at TMC twice -- once because friends took us there and once because in perusing local fine dining this seemed to be a good place. It was HORRRIBLE! The beef tips, penne vodka, lobster ravioli, and "Maryland crab cakes" were all terrible. Worst of all were the crab cakes -- they were not "cakes," they definitely were not "Maryland," and it's questionable if they were crab -- perhaps it was Vietnamese or South American crab but poorly prepared. Tasteless, poor presentation, and terribly overpriced. I hope I do not get food poisoning from the crab cakes -- they were so bad as to be inedible. Either figure out how to prepare food or shut down. This is an AWFUL place to eat. read more

Absolutely wonderful. I had the pleasure of a work colleague taking me to dinner with her husband with appreciation for a lot of hard work. Pulling up to the restaurant I was a little unsure - it looks like a tap room from the outside but the inside was warm with old wood on the walls, a gorgeous fireplace and beautiful copper top tables. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our server who, despite having no sense of humor, was kind and knowledgeable about the dishes. I ordered the potato beignet and the bucatini - the beignets were fried perfectly and the sauce was delicious. The pasta tho - absolutely delicious - I loved how the burrata foam melted into the pesto to create a sauce that was creamy without being heavy. The toasted pine nuts were a perfect burst of flavor with the pasta and the cherry tomatoes were perfect. I'm not one to usually clean my plate but the food was outstanding. Had an excellent dinner last night at Tony's Mining company! It started with an excellent atmosphere - from the copper top tables to the excellent server this place started off on the right foot! The Food? All four meals from our party was excellent -- from the Snapper to the Duck to the Filet Mignon - wow all were cooked perfectly! The desserts were also excellent! We made a reservation. The service was mostly very good. They had one food runner trying to balance rectangular appetizer plates on top of a round charger which was a bit precarious but we moved them. The hot towels before the food came seemed a to be a bit of a throwback although not an unwelcome one. Portions were fairly massive and we took home some food. We had one cocktail and a mocktail and both were very balanced. Their wine by the glass options were not great but bottles were ok. Sadly we weren't looking to drink enough to make that worthwhile. We tried the very popular duck nachos and the bone marrow as well as the French onion soup to start. For entrees we tried the filet and the pork chop. Unfortunately we felt the red wine demi glacé too away from the filet. The pork needed a little more sauce but the cornbread was to die for. We aren't big sweet eaters but the desserts looked amazing and we really appreciated the homemade chocolate chip cookie that came at the end of the meal. It was a solid meal but not something I would drive an hour for again. read more

We loved Tony's!!! We had dinner there as a party of 9 last night and everything was so great. The staff were so very welcoming and funny! The food and drinks were fantastic! The indoor fireplace with the copper hood and the copper topped tables were very cool and unique and really added to the unique atmosphere. It is absolutely perfect for a night out with friends! I had the grouper with the purple sweet potato mash and charred leeks and I ate every bite! It was amazing!!! All 9 of us thought everything was done perfectly including the risotto and French onion soup as starters, 2 HUGE bone in ribeyes and the scallops. The chef is great! I would highly recommend Tony's if you are looking for a really delicious dinner in a beautiful space with great service! read more

This is a quiet little gem of a place which offers some very nice menu selections. Two of our party had the schnitzel and were quite happy with it, as well as the Hungarian mushroom soup and finished with a strawberry tart each. Another had the pork tomahawk. But I "won", as all agreed what I had was best. I started with the Tuna Tartare, then Blackened Mahi Mahi, and rounded it off with Beignets. The Mahi Mahi was incredible. First the waiter was superb I believe Dean what a great server! The food was amazing as always but I must say what I'm upset about. Walking into the restaurant I had a reservation on OpenTable. She never asked me my name so I assumed it was under my last come to find out she could not find it and don't worry I can still see you, but please believe me when I say I have a reservation because I wrote something in there that I want you to acknowledge, so anyways my first name was said and she said oh so it's under Frances. I said yes that's my name., my reservation asked to be sitting by the fireplace to have nice ambience, my mother-in-law in town from Panama so we wanted to treat her to a very nice dinner and it was my anniversary 11 years. Well, she sent me at the bar tables very cold atmosphere with somewhat of loud noise. The waiter come by asked if everything was OK. I started to let him know What I requested He moved us to the dining room where we should've been and everything was OK. Well, another lady or should I say girl I'm not sure she was waitstaff because she had on a yellow jumper stated oh I read that in your note and it's your anniversary, but we don't usually fire up the fireplace till dec . So both ladies just assumed it meant nothing what I said the lady in the yellow knew it was our anniversary. We just get done spending 244 dollars and My mother-in-law was in from Panama to join us for our anniversary and not one person come over and said happy anniversary or just shared anything, I must admit that was very disappointing so the point of me writing this is please pay attention when somebody writes an OpenTable request on those reservations they're saying it for a reason don't make them feel unwanted when we are coming to your establishment to have a wonderful dinner and a great experience that's what Customer service is all about. First let me say the positives: the service was impeccable!! The ambience is lovely and I really wanted to love my experience...however the food was awful! We ordered the bone marrow appetizer- it was covered with soo much mustard seeds it was awful! We also had the shrimp cocktail- it was covered in seasoning (not flavorful seasoning) and was not edible! We also had the filet mignon- it was overcooked and covered in a sauce that tasted burnt! We had to send it back and did not order anything else. For the price they charge it was very disappointing! I would never go there again. read more

We enjoyed perfectly-prepared filet and rib cap steaks, but the two standouts were the mushroom croquette appetizer and beignet dessert. They were both inventive and delicious.
