I am so unbelievably glad we stopped here because it was one of the most impressive and tasty dinners I've had in a long time! Their menu isn't super extensive but they do have rotating specials of drinks, dinner, and dessert. I went with the pork chops which came with their seasonal starch and vegetable which was potatoes and zucchini. The pork chop was super flavorful and cooked to perfection. The bacon jam had a sweet and salty vibe which only added to the flavor of the dish. I ordered a ginger and pear mocktail - refreshing. Their drinks looked amazing but I refrained from alcohol for the night , but they were definitely tempting. My mom loved her apricot salmon and had the same sides. Bread and salad a soup are all à la carte add ons. The roll was nice and fresh tasting and my mom had the tomato bisque which she loved and honestly smelled so good! It was covered in melted cheese - yum! We got dessert because of course we had to- all made in house and gluten free. I got the creme brûlée which was hands down the best creme brûlée I've ever had. You could see the vanilla bean flecks and it had a hint of saltiness which balanced out the creamy texture and sweetness nicely. My mom got the carrot cake which was multi layered and came with candied walnuts and caramel sauce. Our waiter was so unbelievably kind and attentive and personable. The restaurant had what appeared to be 3 main rooms. The bar looked gorgeous, we sat in one of the dining rooms which was simply decorated and a bit moody. The building itself is cool and they also had a nice outside area with beautiful twinkle lights. I'm so glad we randomly stumbled upon this restaurant and when we go back to Lancaster we'll definitely be back - prices were pretty fair! Overall, don't sleep on this!

Upon entering we saw a table of books, crayons and drawing paper for the kiddos. We even got goldfish with our kids menus! What a dream for any parent having to bring our little rascals along to steal our food and complain about it too! Our server was absolutely wonderful even when dealing with our 2 unruly kids and a crying baby. Sorry about that. We were a party of 7 on a Saturday at 5pm. The menu looked wonderful with a ton of great options and our food came out so fast too, which is great when you have kids. We shared the poutine, which had a lot of tender meat, perfectly cooked crispy fries and a tangy and warm gravy. I would have liked more cheese, but I'm not complaining that much. I got the shrimp tacos, my kids got the kids cheese burgers, my wife got the crab cake sandwich and my friends got the onion soup, salad with steak and linguine with clams. For dessert, we shared the trio, carrot cake, mousse cake and crème brûlée. Everything was FANTASTIC! Fresh, perfect portions and absolutely delicious. I would come back here a million times. Bravo!

Okay, I see you, Lancaster. If there's one restaurant to allure the Michelin guide to Lancaster,…read moreit's Josephine's near the famous Central Market. Joining for dinner on a Thursday evening in July, here's my experience. 1) Food: The chef and pastry chef take their jobs seriously. Every dish was unique, full of flavor, beautiful, and worth every dollar. To start, they bring out homemade bread made fresh every morning with salted butter. I ordered the special- five jumbo shrimp with smoked garlic aioli. (They have cocktail sauce if you want it, but the garlic is phenomenal.) Before the main came out, the chef brought over the gazpacho using vegetables from his garden. The soup was thicker than I'm used to, but it paired perfectly with the vegetables. It was delicious! The scallops for the main were perfectly cooked and worked with the sauce in the middle of the plate and the green sauce on top of each scallop. Another winner! The lemon custard was refreshing for dessert. It's presented so well where you uncover more layers with each bite. 2) Drinks: They have a full cocktail menu with drinks named after famous people, wine, beer, and mocktails. Enjoying more sweet drinks, I ordered the "Marilyn Monroe." It was a fun drink, but a little too sweet for me. If you like berry and sweet drinks, you'll love it! 3) Service: It's excellent from start to finish. My server Tate was friendly, passionate about the menu, and efficient. His timing with everything was impeccable. 4) Space: It's beautiful. Despite on the basement level, it's lit well with photos of famous icons on the walls. It's iconic!

Great service like that still matters. Bird went with the crab cake and was already planning her next visit halfway through dinner. And then came dessert...which somehow topped everything else. Incredible way to finish the night. Between the food, atmosphere, and service, it was the perfect spot to celebrate 20 years, plenty of laughs, good memories, and another adventure for the books. Highly recommend.

Huge portion too and very tasty. Got Thai wings and a burger with no bun and the house made chips. Wings were great! Burger absolutely delicious. The chips were incredible. It turns out the front of the restaurant has no steps from the side walk, but the front door is kept locked. Of course I believe the law requires doors to be unlocked when patrons are on site, but this door was only unlocked for us to leave by. Just ridiculous! Now the Lincoln House has been known as a very nice restaurant for many years, probably at least 50. There are several dining rooms inside, a large separate bar area and indoor porch seating. It is modestly decorated with 19th century prints. The building itself is old and it retains character while having updated decor, tablecloths and glassware. It is upscale but casual dress is ok. One of us absolutely loves the cheesy tomato soup, a regular offering. The tea was nicely brewed. The food was fresh and tasty. Our server AJ was pleasant and attentive. Total price for 2 soups, 2 teas, and a sandwich and large salad was $50. Ample parking, ample space inside. They just have to do something about that handicapped entrance issue.

I was so engaged with the rest of my meal that I didn't capture the light and buttery sea bass, the beet risotto, my dining partner's aged NY strip (cooked perfectly and as requested) or my mimosa served with choice of juices. I did try it and was overly salty too. Tried a bunch of sides. Carrots, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and a baked potato. Mostly ate the baked. Tasted like they finished it in a microwave. We came across blue-collar restaurant, but when we pulled in, I was surprised to see it was located inside a golf country club. I almost turned around, but my daughter encouraged us to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was beautiful inside, with a peaceful view overlooking the golf course that made for a really relaxing lunch. The food was excellent. I ordered the salmon with vegetable risotto special, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. My daughter is nursing, and my granddaughter has soy and dairy allergies, so we had to be very careful with her meal. Our waiter, Matt, was outstanding. He went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen multiple times to make sure everything was completely free of soy and dairy. He helped put together a custom salad bowl for her, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had such a lovely experience--from the food to the atmosphere to the attentive service. I would absolutely recommend this spot and would gladly return.

I was expecting large mushroom pieces in a creamy soup, but instead it had finely chopped mushrooms in a perfectly seasoned, rich, creamy broth. It was absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the grilled salmon. It was cooked beautifully, tender, flaky, and practically melted in my mouth, with a light crisp on the outside from the grill. My only suggestion would be a little more seasoning. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with exceptional service, and I'd definitely come back.
