There are lots of seating area outside, and insides. Cute bar area with a circular bar too. Coy pond out front too. Very cute decor and vibe! Sat in bar. Orders beer and a spicy margarita that was just meh. Beers on tap are plenty and some tasty too. Started with the cheese curds that are served with delicious sauce to dip. Don't skip these. Huge portion too and very tasty. Got Thai wings and a burger with no bun and the house made chips. Wings were great! Burger absolutely delicious. The chips were incredible. My wife holds scrapbooking retreats here at the hotel, and it is catered by Loxley's. In addition, we have eaten there outside of that and always an amazing time. The service is top notch, and the food is amazing. Today, 6 of us went into the restaurant, and four of us ordered the steak and cheese. It is amazing, that is all that I can say. The french fries are also as good as the steak and cheese. I would ride my motorcycle the 2 hours just to come here for it again. read more

We arrived Sunday the 6th for a family dinner. The host told us it was Happy Hour with special pricing in the bar area so we did that even though we were planning to eat on the patio. The signage where we were sitting was also displaying the Happy Hour. However, when we were greeted by the waitress we were told they were no longer doing that. Was there on a Saturday night. Band was playing. There was a rehearsal dinner for a wedding going on. It was crazy busy! Even with all that, the service was excellent. Food was stellar! One of my friends had the pork chop, the other had the wild mushroom ravioli, and I had the fried fish. And then we had the desert, which was a caramel/chocolate cheese cake with sugared pecans. We devoured that and bought another one to take home. Highly recommend this restaurant! Yummy food, nice people, and the building is beautiful too! read more

My brother and I hosted my Mom's 90th Birthday Party in the Outlaw Room on 8/23/26. It was wonderful! As we were considering venues, the first person I met at Loxley's was restaurant manager, Tanner Deegan, who showed me the room and assured me the team would do a great job. He was so right! From there I worked with banquet manager, Cassandra Shive, who helped me with all the details of the party. We wanted a special table for Mom, very special limited menu as opposed to a buffet due to many guests being elderly, braided pretzel appetizers on each table, a tv for displaying pictures, time to set up our decorations, a photo area for taking pictures with Mom, a cake/party favor table, and a gift card table. Cassandra made all of that happen. Everyone enjoyed having the special menus at their seat. The beautiful room was set up great! The managers were so friendly and helpful! The server was very thoughtful and attentive! The pretzel appetizers were terrific! The food was tremendous! The large tv was so helpful to display over 463 pictures of Mom! Having a photo shoot location was extremely helpful! Everyone kept remarking on how delicious their meal was and what a great time they had! Mom has not stopped talking about what a fabulous time she had. I do highly recommend this venue for your special party. read more

We have gone to Loxley's for years. We always enjoy the setting, especially the outdoor seating. We always have great drinks! And the service is generally very professional and accommodating. We were not going to let one bad experience keep us away. But then it happened again tonight. A couple months ago we came to Loxley's and it was a bit cool, so we ate 'in'. While my dish was fine, my partner's pork chop was literally cold within in couple cuts. Then the center was still refrigerator cold. She also had mashed sweet potatoes, which were also cold throughout. We almost didn't come back. But tonight was beautiful and I really wanted to sit outside at Loxley's and enjoy some wonderful food. We sat outside, and our drinks were excellent! I ordered the smoked ribs/half rack. She ordered the gnocchi which was fine. My ribs from the very first cut/bite on the outer edge of first rib was not just not warm, it was cold! I couldn't believe it, so I took another bite, deeper in the ribs: refrigerator cold! Now the sauce was 'luke warm'. But at that moment the waitress asked how everything was. I was very honest and said, these ribs are cold - not even the slightest bit warm. They are cold throughout!' She was gracious and offered to take them back. About 5 minutes later a chef came out and placed the same 1/2 rack in front of me. The plate was hot and the ribs were now warm. But as I ate them I skipped to the middle of the rack - still cool to the mouth. They had good flavor and the sauce was very good. However, if I wanted left over, refrigerated ribs and sauce, I could have gone to Wegman's or Stauffer's and purchased their pre-made ribs and grab a good sauce off the shelves, brought it home and reheated it. The table next to us, chimed in when the chef brought back my plate: "Ours was cold too!" They had the ribs full rack. The gentlemen explained that he wasn't trying to complain, but when heard our situation, also wanted to let the chef know. So again, wasn't isolated to just our perspective, but another customer, same night, same meal, same leftover, cold experience. That is literally what they were doing. We love the setting and drinks - will probably only go for drinks and patio. I don't think we will ever return to Loxley's for a meal anytime soon. read more

This was rhe best restaurant we went to on our trip to Lancaster. I loved the vibe. Every room was beautiful and wedding ready. Our waitress was so helpful woth our orders and giving us recomendations around town. You could tell the other guests loved her too. And the food was good. We came here on all 3 days during our trip to Lancaster and it did not disappoint. Everyone was very good to our kid and our pup. Saturdays are live music days and the band actually sang old McDonald for my 2 year old!! Sunday, we went for breakfast buffet 15 mins before closing time and they graciously kept it open for us to make sure we got everything AND did not charge us because they knew we had to rush through in the end. Stay away!!! Simply put the service is not good. We came back to eat here after 10 years of being away from the area. This place went WAY down hill. My prime rib was cool to the touch along with the mashed potatoes. My son had fish and chips. His coleslaw was sour and we asked 3 times for tartar sauce. Still never received it. I walked down to talk to the manager and he gave me excuse after excuse. Their "systems" are broke. A restaurant of this kind should be hopping at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. It was dead. Our Sorority decided to have our 40th Anniversary Dinner @ Loxleys! We had a private room and the establishment allowed us to set-up a projection screen and have our photo slide show collage be in the background while we enjoyed our drinks...appetizers and meals! We had a dinner for nine on June 5 to celebrate two family birthdays. The room was mostly to ourselves. We've been there before but this visit was the best experience we had at Loxley's. The beverages were fantastic, our meals were excellent plus we had a surprise birthday dessert. Came here for a team dinner. There were 25 of us and we got a nice, big room. The menu is varied with burgers, Italian pasta, steak and seafood. There's a decent list of draft craft beers, cocktails and mocktails. Surprisingly, the fish n chips were good. A large piece of fish that was really crispy and seasoned crispy fries. Service was really slow even with multiple servers helping. Drinks took 10-15 min. I only ordered the fish, and I was almost the last to be served, which shouldn't be considering deep frying should be fast!! No espresso drinks for after dinner; only espresso martinis. However, they were good about splitting the check multiple ways and didn't add an automatic gratuity for such a large group. They take Apple Pay. read more

Loved this place. I had it pinned because I didn't want to forget to go during my 4 days in Lancaster. I liked the idea of dining in a "tree house" but no one was sitting outside, upstairs -- maybe because it was chilly. Oh well, my dinner (inside) and service was amazing. After reading some of the reviews, we decided to have dinner here. The atmosphere was great, but the service was a little off. When we ordered our drinks (2 smoked Old Fashions), we were asked what Bourbon we preferred, and we went with Buffalo Trace. The drinks were listed on the menu for $12.00, but when we received the check, they were $17.00. When asked about it, we were told it was an upcharge because of the Bourbon we selected. WHAT!??? So basically, we were charged $12.00 for simple syrup, bitters, and ice, and then $5.00 for the Bourbon. Our server either asked the manager or the bartender about the charges, we are not sure which, but in the end, we were told sorry, but that's the way it is. If you decide to visit, make sure to look over your bill at the end. We will avoid this place in the future. read more

We came here for a team dinner. Ordering took way too long. Appetizers came out with or after the dinners. When we complained to the manager, he did absolutely nothing. Food arrived an hour and a half later. The kids were served last rather than first. Had to ask for water to be refilled. Never bothered to come and ask if we were ok and wanted dessert or coffee. I really can't believe this place is in business. Just came back from the worse experience in years. we sit down and the table is sticky. I ask them about it and they say most of the wooden tables are sticky which is gross. Then the waitress brings us a bottle of water and it's salty. She apologies and gets us some fresh water, says sometime that happens. We ordered our food and when it came it looked fine. Chicken was super dry. The mash potatoes had a sour taste too. The caesar salad with chicken was bad. Chicken was dry and dressing had no taste. my fish and chips were fine but the Cole slaw had a sour taste also. Besides all that the waitress seemed out of it. This was a visually charming place that we had researched in advance, and we're so glad we found it! We were greeted immediately at the desk and escorted to a patio table. Our server, Vincent, was attentive and kind. I ordered the Peasant Burger (no bun), medium, and a side salad. My husband ordered his standard Philly Cheesesteak, excited that it would be on an authentic Conshohocken Roll (he's very picky). The burger, delicious as it was, was more toward medium rare, but I'm not complaining. I secretly hope that it comes that way when I order medium. The side salad was beautiful, making for a complete and filling meal. When asked, hubby said overall 8/10 on the cheesesteak for flavor and roll, but it loses a couple of points because it was smaller than his idea of a cheesesteak. We had almost forgotten about the cheese curds after a 4 hour drive, but we remembered just in time and had them at the end of the meal. Oh, man. I'm hooked on cheese curds now. They're the bomb. Went downstairs to hear a very talented duo play but was met with a boisterous crowd that had been there for a while. Full to the brim, both the bar stools and the tables. Couldn't hear the duo at all due to the noise but that's understandable with the hotel have numerous functions on a Saturday nite. My issue is with the bartender who basically ignored us and others. After waiting 10 min. with him not even looking at that part of the bar, we decided to move right in front of him as 2 chairs opened up. We still had to flag him down to give our order. I was looking forward to a draft beer and I asked if he had Miller light on draft, yes they do. At least 10 minutes later he pushes a glass in front of me that obviously was not a miller light draft. When I asked what that was, he copped a tn attitude and swore it was what I ordered. I mentioned to him I've been drinking this since before he was born and this was not a draft beer, when he finally said the keg kicked so he gave me a bottle. No, he did not ask me if I wanted a different draft, he just poured a glass from a bottle, saying nothing and expecting I would just drink it. I'm guessing the hotel business is all they need and all the bad reviews I've heard about this place over the last 20 years or so, are true !!! People were actually lined up to pay their bills, half the bar had empty glasses with people waiting...really a terrible bar. Management should do something about this, but probably wont because the have a "captive" audience within the hotel. read more

Solid Father's Day visit to Loxley's with our gathering of 20 extended family members. Can't say that any of the demons mentioned in earlier reviews reared their ugly heads and caused any issues tonight. Of note, the atmosphere in the outdoor area is fantastic for family gatherings. Whimsical and interesting enough for the kids, but enough alcohol offerings for the adults. Good menu offerings of typical American cuisine, from steaks to fish to tacos to tikki masala- interesting enough to keep everyone happy. Our table ran a pretty legit tab, with plenty of food...we had a caprese flatbread appetizer, and although the tikki masala was not available, I opted for the salmon- usually served on a bed of mased sweet potato, but they were able to swap garlic mashed instead and good, not-soggy green beans, cooked well. Excellent dinner. Wife had the same; father in law liked his trout, kids liked the wings, and #2 teenage son finished off food from the rest of the table, including peel and eat shrimp, the upper house burger, penne pasta, cesar salad, anything else that came his way. No complaints about the food whatsoever. Not gourmet, but sold meals. Prices were in the $18-$30 range for dinner entrees and $12-$20 for sandwiches. Service was solid. Our collage-age server worked hard to keep the 20 orders straight. Timing was good between intervals, and drinks were kept filled. Really neat concept- one that I would definitely come back for! Kind of Robin-Hood, kind of midevil feel with an enormous tree as the centerpiece. Indoor seating areas are also themed similarly, but probably not as unique as the outdoor area. Only negative is the view over the parking lot and the noise of Rt. 30. Had this been in the woods, it would have been really unique. But I digress. It is definitely a cool spot worth checking out, and to my experience, the food and service was up to par. read more

They have a very unique outdoor dining space here. It's not just a patio, it's a patio, deck and treehouse all in one. Complete with a koi pond with bridge entrance. We had a group lunch here outside on a sunny, but slightly chilly day in late April. They do have vinyl shades that can be drawn to block sun & wind, which was helpful for the wind today. We had a reservation for 5 and were seated iI quickly. I had the salmon burger with broccolini as a side since I was trying to be healthy. The burger was quite filling & large. The broccolini was so-so, wasn't very tender. It's a solid restaurant with a bar next to the Heritage Hotel and Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. Large parking lot. It sits back off Centerville Rd and is easy on/off Rt 30. They have online ordering and a Sunday Brunch as well. I didn't get to see the inside. read more
