This is one of those places that we would pass and never get the opportunity to stop in. It was a restaurant that my in-laws who had lived in the area for years would used to go to all the time- finally we went and it was great!! The menu is varied- but I went for an amazing burger- I always judge a restaurant on how good the burger is- my husband got the surf & turf which had an interesting spin petit filet and a crab cake. It was all good - do t pass on the deserts- they have an incredible fried cheesecake- just like a churro with cheesecake inside. The service is outstanding- thank you Maureen you are amazing!

The food was excellent! I had the Ahi Tuna, small plate and the crispy salmon. My husband had the Rueben with onion rings (a little too greasy). Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The issue, was the cleanliness of the dining room. We sat at a booth with a window and it was filthy and off putting. Cobwebs with dead bugs trapped in them, old butter wrappers and dried up cheese littered the sill. It made me wonder if the dining room was not cleaned on a regular rotation, what must the kitchen be like? I informed the server of the problem, (whose nails while beautiful, are not in compliance with Food Handler safety standards) and no manager came to speak with us. I also notified the hostess on our way out and she didn't offer to get a manager ‍

The food was delicious and the server attentive. Their double martinis are phenomenal. I'm sure they are all good but I always get my favorite, the Pear Martini.

I got the surf and turf dinner (crab cake, filet, fingerling potatoes, and green beans). Price was 37.00. Food tasted excellent. I eat a lot so this meal was a very modest amount. I could eat three meals of this. However, excellent service by the bartender and the food was great so 5 stars.

This place is a solid three stars, possibly 3.5. Our servers were great, even dealing with two small kids with grace. The food was pretty good. We got the tuna app, which was tasty. I ordered the surf and turf, which seemed a little pricey for the size of filet you ended up with. Also, most of their dishes come with this potato side dish - I think they call it cheesy potato. It's like au gratin, but comes in a triangle form. I imagine some enjoy it, but it wasn't my favorite. The place is cute, and has a good amount of parking. I would check this place out again if I were in the area.

We were wonderfully greeted and the hostess spent the perfect amount of time chatting with us after seating us at an intimate table inside. I was glad I had perused the menu beforehand, so I wasn't shocked at the prices. However, as mentioned, it was a celebratory dinner. I had picked the duck (more on that later), but may have switched to a steak had it not been for the $$$. We ordered the following appetizers/starters: tuna carpaccio, house salad, bone marrow and house selection of bread. All of these were the highlights of the meal! The tuna was thinly sliced, great flavor with the cucumber and the perfect amount of 'dressing'. The house salad was also delicious - wonderful combination of flavors. I was worried about the strawberry dressing (served on the side), but was the perfect balance of sweet and vinegar. The bone marrow was also delicious- we should have gotten one each as we were both scraping the bone for every last morsel. The bread deserves its own paragraph. I will preface by saying I have tried to be gluten free for the past eight months and not eaten any bread. I melted into my seat with every bite of bread. There was a selection of pretzel bread, my first choice. Eaten with a small amount of butter, I thought, thank goodness I tried this first, it will be easy to say no to the other bread. Wrong. The focaccia with herbed olive oil was even better! Had the same thought again - well, at least I will be able to pass on the other slices. Nope. The sliced bread was even better. Although i could hear my mother scoffing at having to pay for bread, this was worth it. Unfortunately, this is where my enthusiasm wanes. My husband ordered the salmon and really enjoyed it. I tried a bite and also thought it was a good dish. I ordered the duck. The duck was cooked to my order (medium rare) and flavors were very good. Unfortunately, the mocha rub was more of a crust (encasement?), not a huge deal, but the duck itself was not tender and took a lot of chewing. Other Notes: The atmosphere was fantastic! The wine selection was excellent and provided a nice variety of prices per glass. Service was excellent. For dessert, I had a macchiato and the tiramisu; it was ok. I should have ordered one of the housemade desserts, but wanted something smaller. My husband ordered the cheesecake and wolfed it down (a good sign after such a large meal). Since we are from out of town and it was a one of a kind celebration, I can't say we will be back, but if money were not an issue, I would really enjoy coming here again and trying a different entree

The menu felt very contrived; why do I need fruit or pistachios in a pasta dish? Way too many ingredients in their dishes which made it very difficult to pick a meal. Again, very expensive; I'd say be prepared to spend $300 for a couple. Not worth the prices by a long shot but I guess there are so few fine dining options in the area, they can command it. I'd never return. Not a pleasant experience.

Music isn't the issue, it's other loud tables that drown out conversation. We love the music and atmosphere but it's a bit uncomfortable. For visitors - it's a theme/gimmick bar, a lot of fun. However, the food & drink is the real surprise here! It's absolutely phenomenal. Best smash burger I've ever had. Best fries. Best veggie sandwich. It's simple, yet top quality. The drinks - the shots - locked in my memory forever! Plus the music selection has always been on point for the theme. Best in the county. Overall - so why not 5 stars? This bar is a must. I want to spend more time there drinking and hanging out. It's just missing some comfort features that prevents that. It's a small space so business wise it makes sense. I'm a little selfish wanting to spend more time there, but with more personal seating options. Owner(s) Help make this a 5 star and hear me out! Far from a 3.8 rating.
