Amazing!!!! Our group came upon Quintin Tavern because the other two places we went to weren't opened for lunch. Boy did we luck out!! The ambience was great. Soon as we entered we were greeted, tables we're put together for our party of 5 and all the items on the menu sounded great. I ordered two crab cakes with buttered broccoli and sweet potatoe fries. The crab cakes were a good size, they were all minced crab meat with seasoning. Nice crisp on outside! The broccoli was tender crisp and buttery. I love salt so I did add to the broccoli and sweet potato fries. The fries were crispy and similar to steak fries cut. These were my favorite with squeezed lemon over the top mmmm! We went there this past Sunday after church. The food was delicious. I appreciate good food at reasonable prices. The service is good, friendly and prompt. The ambiance is easy going. Nice little hidden gem off the beaten path. Decent food, but the beer selection could use some help. The hot wings were average. I had to kick them up a little bit with my keychain Carolina Reaper pepper powder. That made them at least spicy. My son's friend got the big Weiner, I believe it was a special of the day. Don't remember what my wife had. The service was acceptable, but took a little longer than we were hoping to get cashed out, as we really wanted to get back on the road after a long day at Flavor Fest at Mt Hope Winery. I made a take out order.When I got there the place was packed.There were 2 young ladies standing next to the door Entrance, I thought they were their waiting to be seated or pick up a take out order themselves. I had no idea that they ,there job was seating people. I said to on of those girls,Im here to pick up a take out order! They pointed me to The Bar Tender and said tell her,she will take care of you. Well the Bartender was busy handling customer's, there was only one Bartender!!!! These two girls seating each other stood behind me talking,joking amount each other. The bar was full and here Iam trying to get the action of the Bartender to get my food,she wasn't able to see me,the bar was full of customer's, Im so short!!!! I had to walk all that way down to the other end of the bar to get my food!!!!!! I left there pretty pissed off that those two girls stood there chatting and helping other people and didn't give a dam about me getting my order!!!!!! This establishment was great until the current owners took over. The food is passable but nothing special. The menu is pretty much what one might expect in a combination bar and restaurant. And the menu changes since the current owners took over are disappointing. The building is beautiful and has a long history of serving the people of the area. We used to eat here regularly but no more. It's fine but doesn't live up to its former charm and menu. One more thing: the wait staff is wonderful which tells me the negative sides of eating here is due to the current owners. read more

Casual pub style dining in a historic atmosphere. Dining area was filled with adult group and families with children. Stopped in with a friend for a cocktail and appetizers. Tiffany was our server and she took good care of us. Food and service were good, great location, restaurant has it's own dedicated parking lot and there's just one step to get into the restaurant. It's great to see this place coming back... we used to go here a lot before the change in ownership. There was quite a slump period when we didn't care for it- food changes, service changes... it wasn't good. However, my wife and in-laws ventured back last night (a busy Friday) and were pleasantly surprised. Our food was tasty, the service was good, and the atmosphere on the deck was hoppin'. We had drinks, an appetizer, and dinner for four and we're all quite pleased with the evening. An important note that we all appreciated was we didn't feel rushed. I had the opportunity to meet up with relatives for Saturday lunch and they suggested Quentin Tavern. In the past they had been frequent patrons. It was easy to find and the ample parking lot was pretty full. They have an outdoor covered deck eating area that was packed with diners. We opted to eat inside both for accessibility since one of us has mobility problems and the deck is at the top of some substantial stairs. There is likely a ramp someplace but we just navigated the front steps. The building is old with original fittings and very quaint and historic. The bar area is to the right and dining in 2 rooms to the left. I chose a round table right next to the window and we settled in for a lovely lunch. The menu had offerings from sandwiches to pasta. Wait staff was very attentive and checked back just enough. One of us ordered a burger, one a reuben panini and I ordered a sausage and onions sandwich on a roll with a side of onion rings. Food came out quickly and the 3 of us ate every bite except a few onion rings. They were crisp and nicely fried but not particularly seasoned or greasy. That can be good or bad! I did not remember to take photos of our food until we were down to our last bites. Nor did I have a chance for a photo of the dining area or deck. But suffice that everything was very tasty, nice variety, pleasing ambiance and friendly helpful staff. I picked up the check and it was just over $60 plus tax and tip. I would enjoy eating here again as it seems many local people enjoy it as well as a place to frequent. read more

Upon complaining, our server said she spoke to her manager and was told "if more hadn't opened, she would have comped them". BAD BUSINESS. Why were 3 unopened clams even served to us??? Great AC an clean restrooms. Next the staff was attentive, just enough check backs. The food was excellent and exactly as described. An outstanding item for me was the tableware just felt great in your hands, and the napkins although paper were high quality. Food was fairly priced for the excellent quality. We haven't been to Quentin Tavern since our daughter graduated from college 15 years ago. Jumped off the PA Turnpike for a 6 minute side trip and BOOM! Lobster Fest! Tender lobster meat on probably the best Mac and cheese ever! We also had lobster tail dinner that came with very tasty sides. Loved the White Vinaigrette dressing! Local brew from Snitz Creek Brewery. We hated to leave, we still had a 2hr drive to get home! We didn't order dessert, but I have a pretty clear feeling that we missed something really good. This is my new/old dinner stop along I76! read more

First time visiting this place. Very cute little road side stop with lovely outdoor seating. The chicken quesadilla was good. Packed full of chicken. Needed a little more cheese but other than that it was perfect. The peppy chicken wrap needed more peppercorn sauce. Other than that it was delicious while being packed full of chicken and flavor. Crispy avocado was a new experience for us. We just had to try it. Worth a try if you have never had it. Not something that I would crave, but now I can say I've had them.
