Located inside the Hershey Hotel, this spot is a must-visit if you're in Pennsylvania for Hershey. The décor reflects the hotel's rich history, adding to the charm. We stopped in for drinks and sat at the bar, while most people around us were enjoying the brunch. The spread looked incredible, but we learned that during brunch hours, they don't offer a regular menu--so no small snacks like peanuts or crackers were available. Our bartender, Travis, was fantastic. I ordered the Fig and Starry Night, and it did not disappoint--I was feeling a little tipsy since we hadn't eaten beforehand! My friend had the customized Espresso Eclipse, made dairy-free, and she really enjoyed it. The ambiance was great, with a circular bar offering a nice view from any seat. I'd love to come back on a hungry stomach to try their weekend brunch--it was packed even during the off-season!

We recently spent an evening at The Circular in Hershey and we were significantly underwhelmed. While many love The Circular, we struggle to understand why. Whimsical as it may be, the service, specifically management, and food do not match the cost. Our servers were generally very good. However, one of the male runners had black fingernail polish that looked like it was applied with an El Marko magic marker. At this level of dining, servers and runners should be sharp and clean, as should their hands that are presenting dishes to guests. As a flagship restaurant of the Hershey Hotel, one would think that the experience would have a Hershey Chocolate theme. This is not the case and is a failing of management. So many lost opportunities here. Our interaction with the manager on the floor was very disappointing. Not a smile to be had from the manager. Just barking orders to staff and a miserable countenance. This transfers to guests and can ruin a dining experience. Now on to the food. It was mid. Every dish was just mid, or less. The Steak Tartare was the worst we've had. The red onion marmalade made the meat taste like metal, making it almost inedible. The baby gem caesar salad was dry and boring and the lobster bisque was, frankly, gross. More could be said about the entrees, but out of respect for this long-established restaurant, we'll end this one here. No plans to return.

We've been here three times, once for their Bunch and then dinner. It is located inside the hotel Hershey and the circular room is in fact "half" circular with wonderful views of the estate. The architecture in the building leading to the restaurant is fantastic. The first visit the food and service was great. The brunch with a chocolate themed with a little bit more energy. The ambiance is good. However, food quality and presentation on the last visit was par for the course.Great staff and host!

My family is very familiar with Hershey but we hadn't yet been to the Circular. We heard great things so after my cousin graduated from college we went here for dinner as a family. The restaurant and hotel is beautiful! Very classy place and friendly staff. The food was also amazing! I got the scallops, filet mignon, and lemon blueberry dessert. I have a gluten allergy and they took that very seriously and even made sure they took off a fried piece on the scallops to avoid cross contamination. Everything was so good and I'd come back for the food for sure. The only downside was the wait. We waited forever for everything. Even drinks. They also forgot a few things like my family's bread and some drinks. Even though it was a Friday night they weren't that busy so it was a bit frustrating. At least the food was worth the wait!

    Made to order omelette

The morning breakfast buffet had some decent items. The made to order omelette was terrible - picture included below. Our waitress asked for our drink order but never brought them over. Not the best experience. A lot of the food needed to be refilled too.

Food, Services & Ambiance were spectacular. Manny, our server did a great job. My pan seared scallops and king salmon was cooked perfectly. Full of flavor and side vegetables were perfectly cooked not too soft, just perfect. Filet mignon could be cut with a butter knife. Chocolate for two dessert topped off a great meal.

Fancy dinner at the hotel. Had a great steak and a divine dirty martini. The caramel truffles was a nice treat. We should have saved room for the chocolate martinis! Beautiful dinner to cap off a relaxing spa weekend.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The service was fantastic and so was the ambiance. The food was just a little overpriced for the serving size in my opinion. The salted caramels however were absolutely delicious!

The Circular is the Hotel Hershey's signature restaurant. Reservations are required for dinner but not needed for weekend breakfasts. Dress is resort casual so keep that in mind when coming here. My husband and I dined here for breakfast twice during our stay at the Hotel Hershey. We were seated right away and a wonderful waitress named Rose attended to all our needs. Breakfast is served buffet style here. There are various food stations set up in the restaurant and it is worth the time to check out what each station has to offer. They have two made to order omelet stations along with a fruit bar in the middle including hard boiled eggs. Get applewood smoked bacon, sausages, breakfast potatoes and even mini quiches down on one side. They also have small waffles, pancakes, French toast with all the trimmings including mini chocolate pieces. Don't forget to try a cheese filled blintz-so good!! Course in the center it is hard to pass up on chocolate bread pudding. Cereal is in abundance along with regular oatmeal. Down on the floor of the restaurant you will find various pastries such as chocolate muffins, croissants, bagels, breads. Everything is so tempting- you can eat them all! Enjoy unlimited refills on coffee, tea, and breakfast juices all for one price. As in most buffets they ask you to take a clean plate when you return to a station. Our waitress saw to it that our drinks were always filled and gave us clean utensils throughout our meal. The Circular sits to the back of the main hotel lobby and was influenced by Milton Hershey himself who wanted his dinner guests to enjoy the benefits of eating at a round table. The restaurant looks out onto the back gardens with the impressive HH shaped bushes. It's definitely a pricey meal but when quality matches the cost, it's usually not an issue with me. Was very pleased with both the individualized attention and service we received as well as a most delicious breakfast buffet.

I retired from drinking a long time ago, and I discovered that they make one heck of a "virgin Mary"! (a bloody Mary without the alcohol. ) Rich and tangy. I asked for just a small splash of Tabasco in it, and he got it just right. It was Amazing. I'm sorry I forgot to get a picture of the drink. For food, I started with the goat cheese, strawberry salad. Spinach, strawberries, almonds, goat cheese, and red onion, with a poppyseed vinaigrette. I ordered the "starter" portion, and it was huge! The spinach, strawberries, and onion were very fresh, I loved the almonds, the goat cheese was creamy, and had a fantastic Tang to it, and the poppyseed vinaigrette was creamy and delicious. I also ordered a cup of the gumbo, and it was also a very decent sized portion. The rice was just the right texture, it was rich, and it had just a little bit of a zip to it. Very, very good. I was pretty much stuffed from dinner, but I had to try the caramel croissant bread pudding for dessert. That too, was a very decent sized portion, the bread pudding was very savory, and the ice cream and caramel just played so perfectly off of it. This was an absolutely fantastic meal. It was a great evening. Everybody who worked there, especially the bartenders and servers, were beyond friendly and helpful. Also, the prices on the menu are very reasonable. I would like to come back to either here, or one of their other stores. Thank you!

I had made a reservation, which made it easy for us to come in and grab a seat. We came in at 7:30pm and it was busy but not crowded. Overall, I would say that the food is decently good for the most part, however the kitchen and service was a bit wild. If I remember correctly from the previous year that I was here, the service was really slow, but last year it was crowed and packed. So I had thought it would've been because how busy the restaurant was....however, coming back again, I would say that they're just slow. Period. Other than our orders, things just kept getting messed up again and again. One thing that's confusing is that the on-line allegory menu is NOT consistent with what they tell you IN PERSON for the allergy alerts. All that to say, things that didn't have egg or dairy allergy (for my child) on-line had allergies when asked in person....confusing. But we had ordered food based off of the on-line menu for it to come back and say it had an allergy...so we changed our order. The apps and the kids food came out first, but the first order still came out and then we sent it back. Then the new order came "rushed" (but 15 min later) incorrectly AGAIN, and "rushed" for us to finally get our order for our kid only for it to come out incorrectly AGAIN. So it only took FOUR times and the communication wasn't there. Super frustrating at 8:30pm waiting for my kid to eat. WILD times (also nothing was done to mitigate this chaos). We had also asked for our broccoli to NOT be soggy but..,you guess it, it arrived soggy and we've been through so many back and fourth we didn't bring it up As for our food when we finally got it 45 - 50 min later.... Our main course adult meals were the pub burger with fries and Baja fish tacos with salad. The burger was pretty good, not dry but juicy and flavorful. The pretzel bun was decent, slightly better than Costcos, and the combo of the flavors were pretty good! Overall, solid burger with good flavors 4/5! Their fries in general are pretty lame, not crunchy and little flaccid and soft, not seasoned well either. Just meh, 2.5/5 The fish tacos were actually good, the fish was battered well with a great crisp and decent amount of fish inside and the sauce and toppings made it great. I probably could've gotten an extra one added to it as they were a little smaller in portion. Overall 4/5! The side salad was a little lame. Normal salad, 3/5. We got two appetizers the Philly cheesesteak rolls and pretzel sticks. Both were good! The cheesesteak rolls had a good crunch to it and decent amount of meat inside, I'd pair with the white sauce more than the red sauce but both kind of worked. 4/5! The pretzel sticks were good! The cheese and the mustard (a bit on the stronger mustard side) paired well with them. Pretzels were soft and had good amount of salt on them. 3.5/5 Overall, the food is good and have some good options, but with the service and how SLOW and how much of a headache the back and fourth is the orders were, I'm honestly not sure if it's worth the hassle for the food. And there was no FOH or anyone apologizing or comping anything. Kind of disappointing tbh.

It is located at the Fresh Market at Hershey Town Square (we popped into a store to ask where it was). Oddly, she directed us to the UPMC Outpatient Center. That's all it said on the building. Entrances flank both sides of the building, nothing is clearly marked. Entering the town square is pretty magical the first time. I thought, this must be Hershey's best kept secret! Once locating Taylor Chip, we got in line. It was busy but not too long of a wait. While waiting the line did get quite extensively longer. Moral of the story... if you're behind 5 people, don't get out of line as it can change in a second! All those huge cookies lined up looked so tempting. I intended to get several but ended up with a half dozen anyway. Fun fact! You only get a box if you order a half dozen or more, otherwise it's placed in a paper sleeve or you can pay $0.50 for a single cookie box. I got Oatmeal raisin, double chocolate, chocolate with peanut butter inside, carrot with cream cheese icing, chocolate and salted caramel pretzel(these may not be the exact names) The peanut butter chocolate and the double chocolate were delicious and tasted exactly the same. There was only a spot of peanut butter right in the middle that you could hardly taste. I went back another day and all the peanut butter chocolate cookies had a drizzle of peanut butter right on top. I was elated but disappointed that they sold me an incomplete cookie the first time. I also paid 50 cents to get it in a box so it wouldn't get messy shoved in a bag. If I had a chance to speak to the owner, I would tell them to work on consistency (they aren't as filled as advertised) and to offer a box for the few cookies that have goop on top. Customers shouldn't have to pay extra to not have their cookies ruined and messy. That's just bad business. To sum it up... cookies are very expensive, Hershey location may be hard to find the first time, and consistency and customer service is a little shoddy but you'll get a delicious cookie if you eat it fresh.
