Newer building so nice tvs and chairs and booths. Decent sized bar and it was busy for happy hour 4-6. The setup gets weird once the back tables are filled because it's tougher to get to the bathroom. Service was okay. Had to wait for a drink refill and then once the check was paid, never came back again. Which I can understand not asking if you need anything every 5 minutes, but one more drink check would've been nice. Food is basic bar food. My wrap was filled nicely though. Their ranch is solid but on the runnier side. Onion rings were good but the second my plate came out I could see the pool of grease on my plate. Maybe let the onion rings drip a little more before you put them on the plate. Chips that come with the sandwiches are basic kettle cooked, not fresh. $3 to upgrade to fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings.

Fish and chips and wrap

We've been going there frequently to support the local business. Sometimes it does get loud and crowded, especially on trivia night. The menu is varied but lately im a fan of the fish and chips. Huge portion. We haven't gotten a bad meal yet. Only drawback is if you want a real Rum and Coke or a Jack and Coke, you're SOL because they serve pepsi products.

So far so good! Will be back this week! Cheesesteaks are delicious. Wings could be more crisp. Chicken Alfredo is on point. $5 Long Islands are good.

Tomato soup

Service was 5 stars and food was 3 stars. it was Thursday and appetizers and taco salads were half price during happy hour. Hubby and I ordered tomato soup, onion soup, cheesesteak empanadas, a chicken taco salad and a chicken cheesesteak Stromboli. With tip and special pricing, the total bill was $56. The soups were very good, the empanadas were okay, the salad was small and came with sour cream and salsa but no dressing or guacamole, and the Stromboli was half the size of the one we get at the local pizzeria and have as good. And the chef has a very heavy hand with spices. The salsa and sauce with the empanadas were way too spicy. As I mentioned the service was great and as for ambiance, it's one big open room with the bar in the middle which when half full, made it quite noisy.

Ordered the chicken cheesesteak. The little bit of chicken on it was dry and no flavor. The pickle looked like something I found on the floor.

Nachos, lacking lettuce, jalapeño more than two layers, very basic and the worst in the area-

The service was excellent. The meat lovers pizza was really good. My wife said that her hamburger was good; seasoned well.

We knew we were in the right place when we entered and there was a friendly group of peeps from all walks of life from Firemen to a few office working stiffs. The FOOD: Excellent burgers made and delivered good and -hot- made to order. they nailed it. The BEER: Great variety with some hometown flavors. There's something for (nearly) everyone The STAFF: Cool bartender and Wait staff. gratuity was made for that kind of friendly service. The reason I haven't been going for the past three years is that the last time we ordered a Reuben, it was the most disgusting sandwich I'd ever received. The meat tasted terrible, and the color was "off." The time before that the Blarney bread was undercooked and had so much mayonnaise on it that it was inedible. Two weeks ago, it was undercooked and cold in the middle. The more well-done pieces I was able to eat, but the little pieces I could not. The following week, we decided to try the newly opened section on the corner inside the old Arooga's. Two bartenders working, the bar was not that busy but one of the bartenders closest to us didn't even acknowledge or let us know that she'd be right with us. It took the other very attentive and excellent bartender at the other end of the bar to notice my eyes looking around for some help when she came over to take care of us. She was great! The petite blonde was absolutely the worst and I wish I knew her name so I could call her out in this review. I used to love this place and my previous review is five stars. It's definitely not the same as it was before so I'm not sure we will be visiting this establishment again.

I had the pulled pork sandwich, and my husband had the ribs. I enjoyed a flight of their beers, while my husband had a beer. Everything was delicious, and the service was great--friendly, fast, and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend stopping at Lancaster Brewing if you're in the area. It was the perfect stop after a bike ride!

But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row. I need a Lancaster Brewing in my town.

Then he took us to a different table and stood in front of my boyfriend so he could not get to his seat. He then explained how the menu "worked," saying it was designed "with appetizers first, then salads, then sandwiches, and finally pizzas/stromboli and entrees. It was as if he thought we didn't know how menus work. Then he recommended foods that were horrible. The food itself was middling (roast beef sandwich) to awful (the tuna tartar, which was tasteless and drowning in super-salty teriyaki sauce. It was late afternoon, almost 5 PM. Our server, Adam was very friendly and accommodating. Then we ordered real food. PD had the Philly Cheesesteak. She said it was really good and fresh. I ordered a large Stromboli. Only after I had ordered it, did Adam start laughing at me. He contended I would never finish it. When he dropped it in front of me, It was obvious I had allowed my hunger to beat down my brains. I started into it. It was excellent. The bready parts and the cheese and the meat all were well balanced, especially if you liked a lot of cheese. The sauce it came with was also excellent. Although it was a marinara sauce, it was meaty enough that you would almost think it was a meat sauce. I made it halfway through, four pieces out of eight. PD had half of one piece so technically we ate more that half. Anyway, we enjoyed ourselves, we had some really good food and we discovered a great neighborhood bar/restaurant.

Just felt like a place people would come after work and shoot the crap with their favorite bartender or meet their bud for happy hour. Not touristy & obnoxious. Food - 10/10. Calamari was to die for. Probably gonna get some for takeout tonight since I'm thinking about it. I got the lamb. Lamp was tender and seasoned nicely. Brussels were perfect! Potatoes paired perfectly and the portions were huge. Man got the smothered chicken. Same Brussels but his dinner came with wild rice . Again, delicious. Drinks - gulped down. They had some fun festive cocktails for Halloween and the margarita I had was tasty. Could taste the liquor without being unbearable. Sweet enough without being syrupy and sickening. Just up my alley. Maybe not for everyone. Jeff, if I remember correctly was our server and he was great. Have nice recommendations. Was honest and open with his opinions which I appreciate. And service was steady. Didn't feel rushed or forgotten about. Can't wait to go back and try out some more of this neighborhood staple.

My daughter ordered the Mother‑Clucker (pictured), and after she gave me a bite, I immediately regretted not getting my own. I ended up with the Pittsburgher (also pictured), and it was outstanding, one of those sandwiches you keep thinking about afterward. Between the vibe and the food, it honestly felt like a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend stopping in for dinner.
