Holy crap. I had not been in this location since it was the Alpine Inn and wow...times have changed for the better. Horn Pub features a big bar and equally large dining areas. My companion and I didn't sample the menu, but everyone around us was eating and clearly enjoying their meals and the dining spaces were FULL on an early Friday evening. To ne, that speaks volumes. For what appears to be a "divey" bar from the outside, Horn has a pretty solid list of drafts, cans, and bottles. My companion is a wine drinker but found a pinot grigio that suited her. Service was fast and friendly at the bar, and tge crowd (definitely local and regular) was also super friendly. Give Horn Pub a try! It's a.great reminder of what a good local spot can be. read more

Sat down at 12:05 at the table section in which we waited for 10 minutes to be greeted and to order our drinks. It was one server, so we tried to understand. However, after she brought our drinks she didn't come to check on us for over 30 minutes. She took another food table order, 10 feet from us that arrived after us. Another table that had only ordered food after we sat down received their food before we could order food. This waitress said "I have help now. She'll be right here". Our new waitress was super nice. So we ordered our wings and appetizers. By 1300, we still did not have our appetizers of pickle chips or any of our food. Horn Pub is an interesting restaurant located a short drive off of Interstate 83. Shares a parking lot with what looks to be apartments. Interior is mix between a local's bar and sports bar, but with a full kitchen. Menu is pretty extensive with sandwiches, burgers, chicken, and various other options. I ordered the Italian Steak sub (cheesesteak), which was well sized and delicious. The Fresh cut fries didn't impress me and were too greasy. My friends shoe string fries however, looked golden and crispy. Service was decent and prices were what I would expect. I would return here to dine again. read more

I have frequented this establishment since its inception. Food is great, beverages are typical and it is close for us. Unfortunately, last night as I watched the Phillies play on TV, a song played that caught my attention. The song's title is "A Lap Dance is so much better when she is crying" by Bloodhound Gang. When we asked the bartender about it, she said the owner selected the song. Perhaps the men at the bar were happy with the choice as they fist pumped the owner when he emerged from the kitchen. I was not and am sorry to say that I cannot return to this location. Listen to this song and then decide for yourself if a restaurant owner who plays a song like this deserves your money. read more

Seat yourself - can be tough on busy nights like Mondays and Wednesdays when they have their wing specials. Parking can also be hard on those days. Service can be slow to get around to your table once you do sit down. Apps are decent, although some are pricey. We have tried loaded potato skins (good, but the second time we ordered there was a hair in one) and peel and eat shrimp (came out piping hot, pretty good). Wing nights you can get a dozen wings for $8 and they're excellent. I am super picky with wings and these are the second best in the area, but best for the price. Get them extra crispy! They're a good size and always cooked well. Flavors tried so far: garlic bbq (good), slow burn teriyaki (flavor is so good but this is the hottest sauce I've ever had and it doesn't indicate it's going to be so hot on the menu), honey bbq (good), hot honey (hot sauce mixed with honey, not like Mike's hot honey - wouldn't order again), honey Cajun (good), sweet ghost of Jack Daniels (not my favorite - wouldn't order this one again). Their ranch is amazing. Other menu items: small fish and chips bowl (good but their regular fries aren't great), curly fries (really good), sliders ($10 for 3 with fries when they're on special and so good), saucy b!tch bowl (dozen wings with fries - good deal if it's not wing night), tots (super good). Overall, prices are good, wings are great with lots of flavors to choose from, and servers are friendly even if they're slow to come around. Pretty solid. We got takeout and lunchtime. One thing to note was the bar was totally packed which was interesting. The wings looks great and so did the sandwich my husband got. one of the worst places I've ever been. service was absolutely terrible. if you don't smoke cigarettes you won't like it there because the whole building smells like an ash tray because people sit outside the open door smoking . so that eliminated ordering any food for there for me due to the heavy cigarette smell. bartender also had smoke stained fingers and looked rough. young but definitely rough. all the food I saw come out looked like regular Sysco food. nothing special especially not when you have to wait twenty minutes to even be waited on in a bar that only had four patrons inside at the time and two bartenders. seems like a local place that bikers like to go to and that's about it. You can expect exceptionally poor service on a good night. The owner hires an all female service staff, which wouldn't be an issue if their skills were even decent. I went to Horn Pub Thursday evening for a late night of dinner and drinks. Service was prompt and we were greeted from the moment we walked through the door. Due to the time we came to the restaurant, only the late night menu was available; as the rest of the kitchen was closed. There were plenty of options and the food was delicious! I enjoyed some chicken tenders, while my partner raved about the ranch dry rubbed wings. Live music was being performed outside and played over the speakers inside, so we could listen as well. I have wanted to try this place for awhile. It sits right off of Hwy 83 and looks cute despite it's ominous sign. I am so glad we did. Stopped in for dinner with my husband. Had wings to start. They were fresh, crispy, perfectly cooked and well seasoned and covered in enough sauce to make your fingers dirty when you ate them. My only negative is that they didn't come with celery. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with tots as my entree. My husband had chicken parmigiana and a side salad. He shared his salad with me. It was huge, fresh, fairly typical. His chicken parm with spaghetti was a huge portion. He loved it. I think I won the night with my crab cake sandwich. It was really, REALLY good. Like rivalling the fancy places in terms of the big chunks of crab and very little filler. It was also a decent size for the price. My tater tots were perfect too. Went on a Friday night and they had live music. The singer was great. We had wings, drinks, and fries -all good and the server was great.

We have been reserving a table for 6-10 people every Wednesday for wing night for months and tonight was absolutely the worst experience we've had at any restaurant. Not only was the server non-existent having to wait 15 minutes between her visits to the table for drinks or items not brought out with meals. When the so called "manager", Eric, came over and asked us how our meals and service was he did not want to hear it. His smug attitude and wearing his little sunglasses like he's Eric Church or something. He was not only unprofessional but was rude, making excuses of waitresses in training, and not enough waitresses. Not once did we see him helping out with anything. We seen him walking around like he was lost. Our drinks would sit at the bar which we could see but not once did he assist. I am disappointed as we had some great service in the past and excellent food. I hope the owners see this and take action to remove Eric before they lose more loyal customers. read more

I am going to be very generous here and go four stars instead of three because it was super busy this past Saturday night when they had a band playing. Service was incredibly slow and took nearly 30 minutes to get cashed out at the end of our meal. The main reason for this is because management instructed the waitresses to take turns with tables and not have a dedicated section. In other words, they had tables all over the restaurant, and could be missing in action for 15 minutes or more at a time while tending to tables in the front, in the middle, and in the back. Probably the most inefficient you could possibly be at the time when it was the busiest all night. Our waitress was very pleasant and as quick as she could be considering the circumstances. The food was really good. I wouldn't recommend the deviled eggs, just not worth the money for 2 eggs. My burger was excellent. The wings were a little big for my liking but cooked crispy as ordered. We will be going back, but next time we'll try to sit at the bar if there are open seats. Came here because we had a localflavor. Solid and friendly bartender and server. Smash burgers were thick but flavorful. Ordered tots as the side and holy mountain of crispy tots! Lighting is cool and during lunch on black friday they had music playing, even though they have a jukebox. That is appreciate because we were the only ones there to start and it would've been awkward silence without it. Decided to head here for trivia night since it was closer to friends. Not one of our regular stops, but ok. Food was good...nothing special, but good. I had wings: horn garlic and everything. I wasn't overly impressed with either flavor. The garlic was very underwhelming and the everything had way too much pepper in it. Neither were bad, just not that good. Wings were cooked well and had plenty of sauce on them. The tots were delicious...but, really, how can you screw up tater tots with cheese and bacon too badly? Everybody else seemed to enjoy their food...but nobody raved about it either. Good, but just that...average. We all enjoyed an adult beverage as well. IMO the beer was overpriced, but it was good as well. Service was great...that was the best part of the evening. The restaurant was a little noisy, but it was manageable...to be expected. Overall, I'd say it is a pretty good place, but not close enough to home to become someplace I would go regularly. My wife and I came down to listen to a local band Friday 10/4. The smashbugers are great. The special cocktails were great and they have a nice tap selection. The bartenders were super friendly and were making small talk with us and made us feel welcome. The servers were all smiling and having fun which makes for a great atmosphere The band was great and we had a great time. It was a bit loud and lively, so if that's not your thing maybe go in on a weekday earlier. It was definitely what we were looking for. I highly recommend this place. We will be back! read more

While we didn't get wings, we obviously saw plenty of them and they looked pretty good. Hubby had the fish sandwich. He's pretty picky about his fried fish and he thought it was "pretty good." I chose the PB&J bacon burger, which is my favorite burger but you can't ever find it anywhere. This one had cheese. Normally I love a good cheeseburger but I really think the cheese is out of place on this burger. Normally, the PB would act as the cheese. I would order this again, but would definitely leave off the cheese. All in all, pretty solid food and nice service. We'll be back. read more

Well I guess the play on a pornographic website doesn't stop families from coming to the Horn Pub but maybe over time the wait time will. Now don't get me wrong, the place is very friendly and cozy. The food was great. The service was good. Live music was not the best on the Saturday night we went. It was rather annoying. Most of the parking is across the road so make sure to look both way and if you park on the restaurant side be careful of the mini lodging available.
