I just want to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to Ron. He was the sweetest gentleman ever! Made my car buying experience a very pleasant one. I was not in any way shape or form ever pressured. Ron was very patient with me. He allowed me to take my time looking over every inch of the car. He didn't circle around me like a shark, as most car salesmen tend to do. No hassle! I was allowed to take the car for a joy ride by myself. Ron even gave me suggestions between the two cars I was interested in. This was the first stop in my car hunting journey and ended up being my only stop. I didn't need to look any further. Everything was just so seamless. The price was right and service was great! My little Mazda was in impeccable condition. #LoveAt1stSight I would 100% recommend Hertz Car Sales to anyone shopping for a "new" car. *P.s. Ron is also a fellow Air Force Veteran ;) *They offer a Military Discount

Bulge in sidewall due to separated plies. Unsafe and had to replace it.

I purchased a 2023 Mustang on 01.24.25. I got on the highway to head back home to MN from the Phoenix Bell Rd location and noticed a vibration once I reached highway speeds. I continued on until I saw a Discount Tire store and was going to have the tires balanced. They brought me back to show me a bulge in the sidewall (separated ply) and a couple bends on the lips of several wheels. I called my sales person Ron Schuler to explain what was discovered on the car I purchased 2 hours earlier. He said there was nothing he could do for me and Hertz won't help me even though this was not my doing. I paid to have a tire put on so I could safely continue without worry of a blowout. I also found the windshield washers didn't work and after washing the car (it was very dusty and dirty when I purchased it) found the whole passenger side had been repainted poorly even though I was told there were no accidents. The car pulls hard to the left under acceleration on the highway as well. Someone who had rented this car had obviously hit a large pothole to damage the left side tire, wheels, and throw the rear alignment off. On their sales contract there is a Used Car Warranty of Merchantability which simply states that the seller warrants that the vehicle will be fit for ordinary purposes for which the vehicle is used for a period of 15 days or 500 miles. I was well within this as I owned it for 2 hours and 148 miles. I called and asked for the manager once I got home on 01.26.25. I was asked my name and explained the reason for my call. They came back and said he had stepped out on the lot and would call me back-which he didn't. I then called the following day 01.27.25 and asked for the sales manager again. A gentleman named Matthew got on the phone and said he was the finance manager and I would need to speak to the sales manager who was not there and was in meetings that day. I was told he would call me back later that day, and if not, for sure I would receive a call the following day. Once again, no one ever called. This is the worst car buying experience I have ever had and I have owned in excess of 30 vehicles. Avoid them as after they have your money, you will be ignored!

Well, I rented a car from Hertz Rent-A-Car and boy that was at a mistake. The car I received was in horrible condition and included human hair, human boogers, and a general griminess that can only be compared to my dirty cousins laptop. When I asked them for support, the sales team completely blew me off and I had to wait more than half an hour for the customer service agent to get off the phone. I was there for nearly an hour and showed them all the issues and they refused to swap out my vehicle. Furthermore, the 800 customer service numbers are possibly the worst in the business and refuse to connect you with a live person whatsoever. Furthermore, the Mustang had nearly 50,000 miles on it and clearly had transmission problems which indicates not only a repulsive health concern, but also that it might be unsafe to drive. I paid the extra money because I thought I could trust the Hertz Rent-A-Car brand, but I will never make that mistake again. I have also emailed their corporate office concerning all of this so I hope to get at least some resolution on the additional $100+ of seemingly bogus charges.

bought loaded 2018 R/T charger with only 40k miles with an ext warranty at my request, after tax title license and all fees paid 25k.

This was a no hassle sale at a great price, the sales staff do not seem to work on a commission bassis as there is no pressure to finance etc. This was the fastest can transaction I have ever conducted. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was the best I found

After 2 trips, 3 weeks, and informing Hertz Corporate about the situation, Hertz bell Road did resolve the issue. I'm satisfied.

However, Joon was an absolute pleasure to work with and he made me feel very comfortable as though we knew each other already. The only real complaint is that these dealers are now using highly deceptive advertising methods,…read moreand it is not just this location, but in many places that I have discovered recently. Dealers are resorting to jacking up the sale price of the used vehicles with "Dealer Add-Ons", for a variety of unnecessary products that provide no real value to the customer but is a method to increase gross profits and the internet has made it increasingly difficult for them to generate profits as a result. I went in to purchase a vehicle to upgrade my daughters current car and during the first pass, they added $1,854 to the price of the vehicle, when I had already received a quote online from the Autotrader ad for $14,890, plus tax, registration and documentation fees, nowhere on the online ad or in the emailed response was this ever disclosed and when I spoke with the internet representative on the phone, I asked about any additional fees and she said that there were NONE. Therefore that evening we made the 2.5 hour drive up to purchase the vehicle and while I did not expect a decent trade in value for her car, and I removed it from the deal and was prepared to pay cash or finance it, and when I voiced my disappointment over the add on, they reduced it by $1,355 and said that they always add the $499 fee to all their used cars. Which I think was for paint sealant??? In my past 40 years of buying cars, 25+ units in total, I have NEVER purchased this junk and never had any paint issues before. Plus, I know the game, I have worked in the retail automotive industry, as a sales consultant, new and used car sales manager, finance manager and service manager, for several dealers and promoted the same junk, but these are not mandatory and you DO NOT need to accept this nonsense, ever and it is always your choice to simply walk away and keep that money in your pocket. I refused and said that I would keep my trade, but still buy car at the $14,890, plus TTL, because it was actually at the low book value and as it was the deal that was sent to me via email, and take it home that evening, but the sales manager refused to budge on the $499, which again, not sure what it was for, but never disclosed until we sat down to work out the contract. So, we left. I also had to say that his sales team was not very well prepared, looked rather sloppy, and I would have trained them far better than how they both looked and spoke to me. I fully understand this industry, and there is nothing wrong with making money in car business, it can be very lucrative and fun, which is fine, but let's not get too ridiculous about it paint sealant and such on a "used vehicle". My only real issue was the deceptive tactics, which to me appear to be border line illegal and they certainly seem to be deliberately working on being deceptive, so don't fall for it. From my past work experience, most individuals are not prepared to deal with professional salespeople who would convince people to agree to spend money on things that they really did not need. Many products are good, GAP, Warranty and such, when the risk warrants the investment, but do your own research and do a careful analysis each time. Plus, even these products are negotiable and come with 50% to 200% markups, as I would do in the past. We did find a very nice unit, for $3000 more, but a newer model and equally equipped, plus she is happy and guess what - NO "Dealer Add-On" fees and a good value for the money. Go out there and shop around but ask questions and don't waste your time or their time as well.

He was unbelievably amazing, and I could not recommend him more. From the moment we arrived, he pointed us in the exact direction of the car we came to see. He was never pushy or overwhelming. He gave us the information we needed, stepped back to let us look around on our own, and only stepped in when it truly felt helpful. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the car and all of its features, and he was so kind and patient throughout the entire experience. He made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. We then worked with Josiah for the financial portion, and he was just as incredible. He brought such kindness, understanding, and light to the process. He took what is usually the most stressful part of buying a car and made it calm and surprisingly enjoyable. His guidance, encouragement, and the conversation we had about life and entrepreneurship meant more than he probably realizes. He made a real impact on us, and we are very grateful for the care he showed. Both Ron and Josiah made our experience unforgettable. I brought it in expecting answers and support. Instead, I got neither. They don't offer loaner cars, so I had to spend $350 on a rental for just three days. After all that, they told me it was just a "glitch in the system." No real explanation. No accountability. No compensation for my time or money wasted. To make it worse, they left my car with 7 miles in the tank because they "had to drive it to get a read." That should have been clearly explained upfront. It wasn't. When I asked for a ride home, they told me the shuttle was closed so once again, I had to spend more of my own money. The whole place feels cold and robotic. No empathy. No effort to make things right. When you buy a new car, you expect support -- not to be brushed off and left paying out of pocket for their mistakes. I would not recommend Tempe Honda to anyone who expects real customer service.

I've been trying to purchase a Tacoma from Camelback Toyota because I've had good experiences with the dealership in the past, including buying my Tundra there. My family has also purchased several other vehicles over the years, including Lexus models from other dealerships, so I'm very familiar with the car-buying process. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing due to the way Mike, one of the managers, handled the situation. Initially, Ryan had quoted me $4,500 for a lift and tire package. Later, when I spoke with Mike, he changed the price to $4,875. When I asked why the price was different, he said it was because this was a different truck. I explained that the truck shouldn't matter because I was simply purchasing the same lift and tire package. I also asked whether I could keep my original tires if I purchased the package. Mike told me no and said the original tires had to stay unless I paid an additional $600. This confused me because when I purchased a lift and tires through the same dealership in the past, I was allowed to keep my original tires at no extra charge. I mentioned that I had already called other shops and found the same setup for about $1,000 less, but we were still considering doing the work at the dealership to help protect the truck's warranty. When I bought my Tundra, I was told that installing a lift outside the dealership could potentially affect warranty coverage, so we were trying to stay loyal to Camelback Toyota despite the higher price. Things became worse after I told the salesperson that I wanted to speak directly with Ryan again to better understand why the pricing and terms had suddenly changed. Shortly after that, Mike sent me what I felt was a very rude and unprofessional text message. In the text, he accused me of not taking "small steps" while claiming he was "going miles" for me. He repeatedly brought up the MSRP price of the truck and implied that I couldn't afford it. To be clear, I understood we were negotiating. The truck was listed around $55,000, and I was trying to get closer to $49,000. Ryan had previously mentioned he could potentially do around $52,200, so we were still working through numbers. Negotiation is normal in car buying, but the way Mike handled it was disrespectful and unnecessary. My wife had already left a review a few weeks ago because she also felt Mike was rude during an earlier interaction. We were actually ready to walk away at that point, but we decided to give the dealership another chance because of our previous positive experiences there and because we wanted to continue doing business with them. Unfortunately, this second experience only made things worse. What's most frustrating is the inconsistency between managers. One manager tells us one thing, while another changes the pricing and conditions completely. On top of that, I've tried asking to speak with the general manager so I can show the text messages, discuss the pricing discrepancies, and explain our concerns directly, but no one has provided me with contact information or helped escalate the issue. At the end of the day, buying a truck is a major purchase for our family. We simply wanted transparency, professionalism, and fair treatment. Instead, we were met with aggressive behavior, conflicting information, and disrespectful comments. Camelback Toyota has a large inventory and plenty of opportunities to earn loyal customers, which is why it's disappointing to see behavior like this from management. I truly hope the general manager sees this review, addresses the situation, and takes steps to improve how customers are treated moving forward.
