Beginning of June 2026 the sales department was very happy to sell me their showroom Toyota Bz. All smiles and friendly sales. Soon after on my first road trip I learned that the so called adapter that was supposed to be in my car was not in my car. After much stress and educated by a very nice man at the Flagstaff dealership they sold me their rental car adapter so I could charge my car and get back home safely. Upon inspection at Findlay Toyota- the adapter I needed and paid for was not in my car like Bell Rd Toyota said it was. When I got home, I called Bell Rd and spoke to a man by the name of Chris who talked to me like I was making it all up and treated me with so much disrespect I was appalled. Chris said he would "look into it" but didn't. Now it's August and still waiting for that call back. Between that call and today I also called and left a voicemail for the financial guy who had no problems getting me to sign the paperwork for my new car in June. To this day I still have not been called back from him. His name is Angel Tadeo. I also called the guy who sold me their showroom Toyota car - his name Ramy - none of these guys have called me back. I have been there twice before in my prior experiences were very very great, but this time was terrible and it makes me really not want to go back for maintenance on my vehicle in the future. It took five hours for a tire rotation and to top off oils. Around the four hour mark, I went outside to see what the holdup was and I see my car being driven up and parked so I'm thinking awesome it should be ready. I sit outside, I wait about another 15 minutes thinking maybe my advisor is just busy and hasn't realized yet. I forgot exactly who my advisor was so I asked one of the other attendants if they can check on the status of my vehicle, they said yes they told me my advisor's name and they went over to ask him about it She came back and told me my advisor said he's just finishing up my paperwork. It should be 10 to 15 minutes. First off I'm not stupid there is no paperwork they need to fill out that is going to take 10 to 15 minutes for them to give me my vehicle that has already just been sitting for 30 minutes . That 10- 15 minutes turned into another 25minutes . my vehicle is a 2025. I just purchased in April. There's nothing wrong with it. It was just routine maintenance work that I came in for. Being there for five hours, my toddler was not very happy so they were very apologetic about me having to wait that long. I came over here as their was a major issue with my touchscreen display in my car. Another mechanic recommended updating the software. I arrived at 8:00 AM today as a cash buyer, ready to finalize a deal on a vehicle negotiated the night before with Daniel for approximately $30,600. Instead of a smooth transaction, I was met with a series of "bait and switch" tactics and disrespectful management. The issues I encountered: Broken Agreements: Daniel was nowhere to be found. A different salesperson, Jorge, quoted me a price over $1,000 higher than agreed, citing "accessory fees" that were never mentioned during negotiations. Hostile Management: I spoke with a sales manager named Izzy, who was incredibly dismissive and rude. He refused to honor the verbal agreement made by his team and actually told me, "No and thanks for my business," before walking away from me mid-conversation. The Final Straw: After I called an Uber to leave, another staff member approached me and agreed to the original $30,600 price. I cancelled my Uber and waited only to have him come back, insisting on $31,149. Probably the worst service department ever I have diesel Toyota Land Cruiser I get quoted in the morning $110 with their filter For a oil change then when I show up I get quoted $161 using my oil filter that I paid $38 for previous months ahead terrible communication then he says he didn't know it was a diesel when we had a full conversation about other dealerships not being able to work on diesel then I get home and I have a oil leak all in my driveway. They parked behind me and on the side of me. I was the last car to be serviced. Slow service and unapologetic acted like it was normal. There was no proof provided, and now we are missing a lug nut because of their mistake. Overall, this was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. The guy touched my car decided to walk off and think it was OK. It was a giant scratch and pitting from the door, knocking my car. Sold me a car that is not legal to operate on the road. The tent on my front windows is limo grade. I'm new to Arizona so when I bought the car used, I assumed because it was so hot in AZ that it was legal to have darker windows. In addition, it never crossed my mind that a dealership would be so disreputable that they would sell a car that's not legal to operate on the road. Of course I was pulled over and received a fix-it ticket. The cop did not believe me that a dealership would sell me a car that was illegal to drive on the road. I had to show him pictures of the car with the stickers on it, still on the lot for him to believe me. Then I took the car in for service and brought it to my service reps attention, again he did not believe that they would sell a that is not legal to operate on the road. Again, I showed him pictures. Before that, I spoke with the finance representative, Diego Franco, who was rude and dismissive. He essentially said that I had signed the contract and that it was my responsibility, showing little concern for my situation or customer service. I have purchased vehicles from Honda, BMW, and Toyota before, and I have never experienced this level of poor communication and lack of professionalism--especially from a Toyota dealership. Within 10 minutes of being there, I had a contract and headed to Well Fargo to get a cashiers check for payment on the vehicle. I drove the RAV4 for my wife. I told Berenise what I was comfortable paying. She came back with a figure. I countered, and it was done in 10 minutes. I visited 2 other Toyota dealerships, one place was 7k more for the same vehicle and another place was 12k more than what I paid at Bell Road. The most refreshing part was not only her professionalism but how she was kind and not pressuring, in any way. While searching for a 2026 RAV4, I called several dealers in our region to find out when they would have this vehicle available. We were able to locate and purchase a vehicle nearby. When Bell Road contacted me by text I told them we didn't need anymore assistance and asked that we be removed from their contacts. Since then, I have received more than 10 calls and texts from this dealership. I have asked each time to be removed from call lists only to be bothered in the next day or two with yet another call and/or text. I tried to speak to the sales or dealership manager to get their sales force to quit harassing me but none answered the call so I left messages. Those apparently were also ignored and I continue to receive unwanted sales calls. Clearly, if I had known what a hassle one simple query would open up, I never would have contacted Bell Road Toyota. I hope others read this before contacting them and reconsider. Went in Bell Road Toyota to day to get an extra remote key for the car. First young man I met was very friendly and helpful. All that hospitality when I entered the parts department. As I walked towards the parts desk, I noticed all of the toys and add on on display -- were so over priced that I could not believe it. Then when I got to the desk I was even more disappointed at the different items on display with higher prices. Finally the man behind the desk actually decided I might be there for something. I needed to get an extra key for the car and he said it would cost between $300 to $400! I explained to him the previous person I dealt with, said once I registered the key during previous key replacement that if needed another key it would cost only $125. First it took him almost 30 minutes to find the account on the car with many more questions and button pushing on his end, once he finally got into the profile he information me there was no way a replacement remote could be sold $125 Could not find the general manager, new car manager. I did manage to find someone who said that yes the prices on replacement was way too much. He proceeded to tell me I could get a much better product and even a much better with an independent contractor who made keys with his mobile kiosk. The replacement better key programmed to my car was $50.00, so I bought two of them. Come Janice, I will sell the Toyota and buy an American vehicle, I will NEVER own another Toyota, even if someone gives me a brand new top of the line Toyota. I will immediately sell it and send the proceeds to Tunnel 2 Towers. One more thing that is off the above subject but this particular dealership on dealership row on Bell Road does not fly the American flag. I asked someone pretending to be in charge why Bell Road Toyota did not have an American flag flying, he said the only explanation that he had was people who run Bell Road Toyota do not believe that the American flag should be flown at their dealership. Then under his breath he indicated even on patriotic holidays there is no US flag to be found.
