Awesome service! Great communication and showed up right on time. Very efficient. Will definitely use them again.

A person attempted to steal my truck and ripped out the ignition assembly in the process. I replaced the parts, but didn't realize that my new keys needed to be reprogrammed in order to work. I emailed Hero Locksmith explaining my situation and I received a call from Ben five minutes later. He was extremely knowledgeable and patiently explained how Ford keys worked and gave me a very reasonable quote. Within 15 minutes of hanging up, he arrived and immediately began working on getting my new keys reprogrammed. He was incredibly personable and explained each of the steps & the intricacies of his duties. Within 15 minutes, he completed the two keys and he was even kind enough to offer to stick around an additional 15 minutes to jump my dead car battery for me. It was a true pleasure having small talk with him and you can tell that he is extremely passionate about his craft. I can't recommend them enough and won't hesitate to call for any locksmith needs in the future. read more

I lost my keys for both my apartment and my car! Dan came by quickly and assured me he would be able to not only get me a new key but also get me into my apartment (which had 3 doors btw). He made a new car key for me in minutes and got me into my apartment even quicker. Unfortunately the factory key for my car wasn't available so he reassured me that as soon as he had one in stock he would give me a call. By 8 am the next morning he called me and got me a key! read more

I called Hero Locksmith after another locksmith didn't show (and THEN wanted several hundred extra dollars [ON TOP of the service fees] to come out after 5pm as a result of that no show). Hero responded immediately and came out within 15 minutes. Their technician was professional, personable, quick, and did a fantastic job for less than 1/3 of what the other locksmith wanted to charge. Apparently, charging people hundreds of dollars extra to come after 5pm - or even before - isn't the norm in locksmithing. I am so happy that the other locksmith showed his true colors. I'll definitely use Hero Locksmith and their tech again if I need anything. read more

We bought a used Volvo with only one key fob. The dealer wanted close to $1,000 to replace and program a new one. Tried Hero Locksmith, Ben was our technician. He came to us, prompt, professional, programed using the one remote we had (not necessary) and he left us with a new working Volvo remote. Highly recommend. read more

I can't recommend this service enough. Ben was amazing. I lost the key to my Volvo SUV and did not have a spare. He came when promised, was professional and very knowledgeable. Purchased a Bentley with only one key and purchased a blank key with remote to have a second working key. Contacted several local locksmiths to find someone to cut laser key and program remote. No one was willing as soon as I mentioned it was a Bentley. Went to a local locksmith that has laser cut keys for me prior and he could not. Sent out a request on line to several locksmith as a last effort and Hero Locksmith responded. Was skeptical they would accept after learning the make of the car. They set-up a Sunday afternoon appointment and assured me that they could cut the key. After arriving and checking the purchased key, technician asked, if I wanted it programmed also? He quoted me the reasonable price and time frame. He got it done and even sooner than he planned as it required accessing the car's computer system. I have a second working ke and will use Hero Locksmith for my future locksmithing needs. I'm a totally satisfied customer. read more

If you're interested in paying $75 just for them to tell you they can't do anything, this is the lock Smith for you!! Before the guy came out, he told me that it's typically $95, but it can vary. Then he gets there and says the lock can't be picked, but he can try a different method $25 come out fee + $150 for services. He try's for around ten minutes, tells me he can't do it and that my total is $75. Then takes a picture of my credit card on his phone after he charges me. I would not do business with them again. read more

Can I give more than 5 stars!!? I called and a technician arrived within 30 minutes. I somehow lost one of my keys to my 2019 Honda HR-V. He did a perfect job for a good price. Excellent service. Have used several times. Always a great experience. Will definitely be using again for future projects and emergency's.

Called Hero Locksmith, based on their good rating. What a fool I was. His job was to re-assembly the cylinder. It took him around 30 minutes and charged $ 450 on my credit card. Not $ 4.50, not $ 45.00 but $ 450,00. Now I will go to Wells Fargo and fight it. What makes him thinking that I am so stupid? read more

My wife apparently lost her VW keys somewhere in Corte Madera the night before. The following morning we wanted to drive back to Santa Cryuz and... keys nowhere to be seen. Couldn't get into the car either. Called Hero Locksmith and within 20 minutes we got a call from Ben letting us know he was on his way. He arrived shortly afterwards and was knowledgeable, courteous and an excellent communicator. Explained clearly what he could do and certain limitations on what he may not be able to do. Within 45 minutes he solved the problem with some fancy tech program (he had to remove the dashboard and reprogram), got us a new key and we were on our way. Ben is a real pro, provides a great service, super prompt, and I can recommend him wholeheartedly. Actually it was a real pleasure to meet him. Best regards, Miguel read more

Call Hero Locksmith now for you automotive needs and avoid needles frustration, read on if you doubt my advice. My EBAY key purchase experience: New message to: topremotes Hi, thanks for responding. I now have five keys for my 2004 Range Rover HSE 4.4l BMW Engine, all five keys will start the vehicle including yours. This vehicle was built by BMW when they owned Land Rover Range Rover. From what I can tell the mobilization is BMW. I purchased the iLAND Diagnostic System from Atlantic British which states that the tool will mobilize/program keys but not so actually, it can only mobilize keys that are pre programmed for the specific mobilization ECU on the vehicle. I first bought two generic keys on EBAY Keylessking for $36.97 and because they did not mobilize the vehicle I thought the problem was the OEM FCC code, so I bought two move used keys with the OEM FCC code on EBAY. I had all the keys laser/sidewinder cut by AM PM automotive locksmith but they could not program the keys for the vehicle, no charge for their programming effort, they suggested the Land Rover Dealer. I contacted all the independent local Land Rover repair shops but none of them could do it either.I broadened my internet search and found Hero Locksmith 24/7 Mobile Service and they dispatched Benjamin an Israeli tech genius. It took him about two hours to remove the ECU from the center console, not easy, and then he programed each key for the vehicle ECU individually with a whole lot of computer wizardry, replacing all the mobilization mini brick chips for the four keys because they would not work, actually. I payed him $450. I already had the laser cutting done by AM PM for $150., they said they could program the keys also but, not actually. Obviously in a perfect world the Range Rover dealer would provide me with keys at some reasonable price because Im crazy enough to want to buy one of their vehicles, but not actually. Had I found hero-locksmith.com and Benjamin right from the beginning I could have avoided a lot of fooling around and frustration. The Land Rover Range Rover dealer orders new keys from Land Rover directly and charges $250 per key, actually. topremotes Hi, All of the remotes are function tested before listing and again before shipping. It sounds like a pairing issue. I don't have replacement boards. Why did he cut and replace parts if he couldn't program it? He could have easily went through the program steps prior to cutting the key and removing and replacing the internals. experience-half: I have had this key sidewinder laser cut and mobilised/programed by an automotive locksmith he had to replace the miniature brick chip to mobilize the key to start the vehicle but the circuit board remote does not work. I suspect this board is bad because all my other four keys work that he mobilised/programmed with the same procedure. I would like to have another circuit board to replace the one in the key to make the remote feature work. Ben came out to Vallejo on Sunday evening to fix my broken ignition switch. I really appreciated his calm demeanor, focus on the work and explaining what and why he was doing. Truly professional. My car had been idle for six weeks due to health reasons. When I finally went to drive it, I couldn't find my FOB anywhere! So I found myself with a car I couldn't open up, probably with a dead battery from inactivity, and no FOB. Hero Locksmith came to the rescue and helped charge my battery, opened my door, programmed a new FOB, and cut me an emergency key to get into the car in case of a dead battery. The young man was very nice and personable. I highly recommend Hero Locksmith! read more
