Cute decor. The prices are not justified given the small portion sizes and self serve nature for drinks and silverware. The loco moco was ok. In Hawaii for the same price you get double the size. The sandwiches were meh. The cheesesteak's meat to bread ratio was off. Not enough meat. The BLT's were ok, not great per the kids. The side of truffle tater tots was a hit. Came on a Sunday with friends for brunch. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Everything about this place was mid. The interior design tries to be thoughtful. The heirloom burger tries to be craft but way overpriced; paid around $24 for the burger with avocado and bacon. There's an extra 3% surcharge for using a credit card on top of it all. I reached out to the management the day after we picked up some food to go. I ordered a few dishes: avocado toast, cobb salad, vegan burrito and a side of tater tots. The food was okay. You can't mess up tater tots, but the vegan burrito did not sit right with me. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst case of diarrhea I've ever experienced. It was so painful. I tried to reach out to the restaurant and find out what kind of oil they used to cook the tots in, I got no response. We won't be revisiting anytime soon, when we are in the area. read more

We were on a trip to the desert and picked it for dinner in Indio because they had vegetarian/vegan options for me and also non-vegetarian choices for my husband. I had a fantastic vegetarian burger and my husband really liked his chicken entree and mimosa. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, and easy parking. They close at 8 pm during the week so it was an early dinner, which was fine with us. We will definitely be back. read more

Their food is okay, not terrible but nothing special. My warning to everyone DON'T EVER GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER! They will, without your permission, spam you incessantly and never stop. I ordered to-go with them one time in December of 2022. Since then I have been getting constant texts from them. Replying "STOP" only gets you that they will stop (HINT: they won't). Blocking their number doesn't work as they spam from a seemingly endless amount of numbers. I have replied STOP at least SEVEN TIMES and have blocked dozens of numbers. THEY WILL NEVER STOP HARRASSING YOU. To the owner: please fire (and beat up) your "marketing" people. They have an entire Impossible Foods section on their menu, but that wasn't what I went for. They have a FRIED PICKLE PO BOY, and it came so close to being epic. Would I get it again, yes! My only dislike was that it got soggy too quick and it lost flavor. Great idea, and not seen in many places. Give it a shot, maybe get a burger on the side just in case it's not your vibe. Tried to pay with $100 dollar bill. The manager(?) inspected it very, very closely and then rejected it. I took it back and paid with a $20 and a $5. The manager then for some reason inferred that I was trying to pass off a bogus $100 bill and that it was his job to protect the employees!?? Needless to say, I took his comments rather personally, cancelled my order and asked for my $25 back. He did not give me the refund but, rather, threw it into the TIP jar and stormed off. I retrieved it from the jar. I had the bill checked ... it was valid and gladly accepted at another restaurant. I am 81 years old and still have most of my facilities! Wow that was awful. Despicable!!!! I ordered the organic Cobb salad. The picture in their website is luscious and vibrant. Mine however was grey. Lifeless. Old colored spotted lettuce and brown chicken and almost no tomatoes, cheese, avocado. Upon returning this item it was quickly thrown in the garbage by the nice gentleman at the register. Not knowing a thing about this region my search here on Yelp led me here and what's even an extra delight was how the visit meant going a bit out of our way we were able to see some pretty unique things than we are used to!! The sandwiches, impossible bowls, salads, and soups all fit your mood. Don't be shy to try the daily specials. We ride our bikes on the weekend and sit outside with the pooches pre-Covid or not. Consistent cheerful wait staff will bring your order out to you. Used to be self serve coffee but things have changed so much this year. My husband and I were looking for a new experience on our anniversary trip in Palm Springs, we were very intrigued by the wonderful reviews and pictures that lead us to this lovely establishment! We had to get get the deviled eggs bc how many times do you see deviled eggs on a menu? Presentation was beautiful and every garnish made the deviled egg taste perfect from the beautiful chewy chunks of bacon to the even smooth creamy filling. Lobster Roll paired wonderfully with the truffled tots... note: dip each side with each dip it's delish. I don't get the hype. It's overpriced and overrated. My chicken salad sandwich was too salty - I almost sent it back but it took a long time to arrive and I didn't want to wait a second round. For $17, you'd think they'd throw a pickle or some carrot sticks on the side but nope, just the sandwich. Also, $4 for DIY soda from a fountain? Please. Well, after a couple of months of trying.... I FOUND it. As close to the perfect breakfast burrito as possible. And an open clean (spotless) restaurant to eat it in. We have had some lunches here and we're always impressed with the creative way they present their menu... and they own my favorite Mexican spot next door called Tu Madres!!! But, on to the burrito... It is filled with bacon, eggs, cheese and TOTS!!! Yes tots. Genuis! It gives it the texture it needs to round out the eggs and tortilla. At least for me. And it's huge. I'm not a big verde fan, but I got Tabasco on the side for some heat. The overall restaurant is so cool and clean. Service is spot on and cheerful. So many things to choose from, so little space in my stomach. I will have to go back & try the things I didn't this time around. The heirloom tomato caprese was my favorite. So fresh & perfectly seasoned. The balsamic drizzle was more on the plate than the tomatoes, which I really like so I can dip in it or not. Burrata instead of the traditional mozzarella, yum! The deviled eggs are great. The pickled jalapeños are actually crunchy so they add texture & a little zing. The tomato soup tastes like taking a bite out of a tomato. It's slightly chunky. I loved the texture. The grilled cheese was too bready & needed way more cheese, but it did soak up the soup well. The fried chicken & waffle needed more syrup, which was a quick fix. The waffle was crumbly & a bit dry, but the flavors were there so I wasn't too disappointed. I can be a Bloody Mary snob. The zingy Bloody Mary is named well. So zingy! I got it spicy & I was very happy with it. There are tons of drink options, alcoholic & non. We also got a lemon bar & vegan brownie. Both were amazing. Neither was too sweet. The staff is friendly. The choices are endless, but they don't forgo quality with all the options like some places can. There are so many other things I want to try! read more

Went back recently and wanted to provide an update as we tried a few new things. I started with the Shrimp Po Boy. Lots of shrimp and definitely had the lemon flavor come through as described. Good sized portion and very flavorful. We also had the Cob. salad which my wife loved. Large portion and plenty of toppings as you can see. We also got the Indio Cubano Sandwich. Another hit. Lots of meat, pickles and really good flavor. Morning buddy preferred the Breakfast Burrito which was huge. He loved it. Oh yeah, try the Tater Tots! You'll love them. It was my first and it'll be my last. I'm definitely not coming back... food is good however, when you get your food in a disposable plate, it takes away from the experience. They don't offer tap water?? I asked the cashier for a cup for tap water and she said they didn't offer that due to people taking advantage, is what she said. When I go to La Quinta I sometimes eat at heirloom, everything is great on the menu, the only two things I didn't care for was too much lime in the avocado on the toast and the ketchup has a different flavor, but that's just me, I'm sure other people probably like it. We have visited Heirloom Craft Kitchen on several occasions and were very satisfied with the service and the food (see previous review). On this occasion, we were shocked by the lack of safety precautions and hygiene by one of the cooks; especially during Covid 19. After ordering, we sat down, and noticed the restaurant was very clean like it always is. However, I noticed one of the cooks was not wearing mask and his beard was exposed. After discussing this issue with my wife, I thought I might just be paranoid. However, moments later, the cook coughed. That was enough for us to request a refund. The cashier was pleasant and understood our concern. During these Covid 19 times, you would think a cook, especially with a beard, would wear a mask. There is a picture of the cook within another Yelp user's review. At other area restaurants, cooks were wearing masks. It is going to be tough to return to Heirloom, which is disappointing. read more

Spacious, clean and minimal tasteful decor. Warm welcome, helpful and knowledgeable receptionist. Menu looked optimistic, plenty of options and amendable. Vegan options were plenty with or without Impossible meat. Burritos were substantial with verde salsa cut and inviting presentation. Did try the Gluten-Vegan brownie. Leaned towards a bit dry, though tasted in flavor. Overall food good, ambience refreshing and customer service excellent. Would return again for sure.
