My family & I have used Hectors Moving Service several times. The last move I paid half up front and half on completion of the Job. $11,000.00 total. A week later, while I was on vacation, Hector called me numerous times sounding very upset and frantic. While I was out of town, Hector said his daughter was unable to make the deposit and beggedp me to write another check. His son was at my house to get check when I drove into my driveway from vacation. I trusted him. Bottom line: Hector cashed all three checks. When I discovered this... he suggested we meet at my bank and admitted he cashed all three checks. Admitted his daughter took and cashed one too many checks. He now blocks all phone calls. Will not give the money back. It has been almost two months.... He has gone dark and still has not refunded the $5,500.00. read more

This is a great local owned company which I really appreciate and I have used several times to pick up items at furniture stores for me as well as consignment stores. This place is very misleading and very rude. We booked them 2 weeks ago. They said all we needed was ropes and blankets to protect our furniture thru the move. They said they were even willing to drop off at 2 locations. Prefect! Then tonight, the night before our move, they text, not even the courtesy of a phone call, said we had to rent a truck. Even though a week ago they said it was something they provided. 2 workers and a truck. The lady I spoke with was very rude. really liked hector when he moved a very large item from a scottsdale consignment store to our home in carefree so we used him to bring three items from our rental to same home I was quoted $120.00 but when they delivered the items the prices was mysteriously $210.00 I never once changed the items to be moved nor the pick up or delivery address but yet they felt it completely acceptable to not honor their price we love the laid back feeling that is arizona but the pure business ethics of some companies to the unsuspecting is appalling had I not told my husband who was waiting at the destination location of the bid ..... he might have just paid the inflated price read more

We had most tribal experience ever with this company! two people came, of them called Orlando , they were working really slow and careless ,they did many big damages !they broken our TV , damaged the electrical bed , broken vest then they left the place with uncompleted job , actually 1/3 of the furniture unloaded ! when we called to the manager, he just talked to his staff and Ignored our complaint ! These guys dropped an antique made of cherrywood, glass and silk. They were apologetic and said they would have it fixed and returned to me. Now they won't answer my calls or emails. I just want the pieces back so that I can try to have it fixed myself but they're just ignoring me and keeping the broken pieces of the antique, which is now useless without them. Horrible people and there is no way to get in touch with them. They don't have a physical address, just a mailing address and the mobile number of a girl named Meagan who does the scheduling. Her mailbox is always full so you can't even leave a message. There is no recourse here if something goes wrong - beware. When they didn't answer any of my calls I sent them a text message and realized that I had used them before when I saw the message history. That time they dropped an expensive wood chair bringing it to consignment and the leg snapped. I wasn't there and they never called to tell me. The consignment shop told me what happened (they saw it) and I called Hector's but they did not return my calls. If I had realized this was the same dishonest company when I scheduled my last move I wouldn't have used them again. I don't normally write reviews but I want folks to know how terrible these people are and that when they break something they do not accept any responsibility or try to help, or worse as in my case where they won't even return the broken pieces to me. read more

Hector's Moving is the best moving company in North Scottsdale. We've completed 3 moves and friends and family all call Hector for projects big and small. We used Hector's Moving last year for a renovation. Yesterday, Raymond and team did an awesome job moving us across town in a single trip. They are true professionals and great communicators. No surprises. Also, Megan was our point of contact and she was amazing, too. April of 2021 will mark the 2 year anniversary since Mr. Hector delivered our flat screen t.v.. He simply set it in our entertainment center with a promise he would come back to hang it on the wall inside the entertainment center. That's been nearly 2 years ago and the t.v. has still NOT been properly or "professionally" hung (installed). I guess we should give up on waiting for him to live up to his promise and hang it on the wall the way he said he would. Oh well, you get what you pay for. read more

The men showed up on time and very friendly BUT did have issues with damage to furniture. They did fix a couple things that day but discovered some damage after they left on a couple other pieces. Hector came out to examine them and admitted that it was caused by move and said he'd have Meagan check into having someone come and fix what he couldn't that day. That was in August, after repeated calls, voice messages, and emails, nothing has happened and they are ignoring me. So I would say to use them only if you don't care about damage to your items. read more

I used Hector's Moving Service to move my office 4 blocks away. They were on time and there were enough guys to move everything. But, they did not take care when moving my equipment. The fax/copy machine broke. Hector came out to check it out and told me his guys did not break it. When I was firm about it he said to bring it up to his scheduler, Michelle. As he was leaving, he called me a name, in Spanish. If you've lived in Phoenix long, you know all the Spanish cuss words. Not very professional. I am not happy about how this was handled. Before the move, Michelle told me if anything breaks they have insurance to cover it. Hector did his best to deny something broke because of his company. I would not use his company again and will not recommend them. read more

So disappointed with Hectors moving. They used to be good but since he started doing things and not even having his own trucks he now rents from UHAUL. I have e used them since 2014 and will NEVER EVER refer anyone to them again. They moved Henredon sofa's with other items to a storage and when they delivered to my other address I am missing the back pillow to one of the matching sofa's. They broke my snubbers when his son put them leaning against the truck and they fell over. I did not realize until weeks later when I went to use it. $365.00 in damage to my wall in our home. The also lost the parts to a mattress firm bed which they admitted to and replacement is $800.00. They deny the cushion claiming ANOTHER company moved it into storage. NOT TRUE. He wants cash to not pay taxes he said to me and a witness. Blew it off with. We have given him washer and dryers furniture and other items. He claims he has insurance ask for his insurance Policy Doubtful. We are now HEADING TO COURT. read more

Hector and his team have moved me twice. Both times the experience was amazing. He's got the equipment (trucks, pads, everything) to make a move successful. His movers are professional and really seem to care about getting the job done and getting it done right. They've always been on time, flexible, fast and I've had ZERO damage issues! Hector's moving service was awesome! I bought a buffet cabinet from a local store and needed same day delivery. I called and got a very reasonable quote over the phone. The dispatcher wasn't sure if they could do the job today but would follow up with me midday. She called right when she said she would and the movers were there within 2 hours.
