Jose and the Moving Team were the most patient, kind and professional group as I had two-moves on two-different dates scheduled. They made sure that my items were protected and my paintings were cared for properly from storage unit to my Condo. I entrusted them with my items 100% and knew they understood that I wanted certain items in my Condo and other items left stored in my garage for the interim. Jorge was very patient with me as I had just had surgery and I was unable to move as fast as I wanted to assist. Also the fees and cost were within my budget and reasonable and they helped pack some loose items for me. They kept things light and enjoyable during a stressful day for me. This was probably the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with an attempted move. Jose was very pleasant on the phone, but the entire transaction was only phone and text. No paperwork, no deposit, no insurance, he didn't even ask for my name. All big red flags, but he came recommended by my building management, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. We scheduled a time and date. I reserved the elevator in my building and told Jose that there was a hard stop because another move was happening that afternoon. He agrees on the time. Then he calls me literally the night before to ask if he could push it a few hours. I told him that the elevator reservation still has a hard stop. He said he'll have an extra guy and they can make it happen. I said OK. HE DIDN'T SHOW UP I called and texted... nothing. He finally texts me 30 minutes late... "sorry brother, still unloading my truck, thought I could finish sooner." I have no doubt others have had good experiences, but this is obviously not a real company. They have the t-shirts and the logo, but that's the extent of it. Hire them at your own risk. So, I called Camelback Moving (the company I used the last time I moved and was very happy with), and they were actually cheaper, and of course legitimately professional. read more

I messaged them on yelp and they responded quickly and with all the information i needed. Jose communicated everything in the initial conversation when had and kept me updated all the way up until moving day. There are no hidden fees. Just the hourly fee and the transportation fee. I move ALL THE TIME and truly, these guys were the best! Professional, ON TIME and just all around cool . The rates were what I expected and they absolutely know what they are doing. I moved from a 3rd floor apartment to another 3rd floor apartment (which has got to suck for them) but it was done so quickly and all my items were moved respectfully and safely. As I've said, I move a lot and have worked with more than a few moving companies. I usually find if it's a messy move, they can't decide on the best way to get started, argue about it in front of you, add charges that were not expected or try to talk you into using "extras" like multiple moving guys and moving accessories that are always unnecessary for my items. All I have are a bunch of boxes and a few pieces of furniture. These guys recognized the realistic needs, no bs and just moved my stuff safely, professionally and quickly. I'm writing this review to express my utter disappointment in this company. Currently I am self quarantined with severe symptoms of Covid. On Monday, 3 of Jose's employees came to my apartment to help me move my belongings, when they showed up to start moving my things I noticed that they were not wearing masks. Later that day I noticed that i noticed that my body had started to show major symptoms of Covid, difficulty breathing, spiked temperature and a dry throat. The following day i had asked Jose (Who I assume is the owner) that I have covid like symptoms and asked him why his employees were not wearing any kind of face protection. He said it was there company policy to wear masks, however it was not followed on that day. Then he has the audacity to send me a picture of himself and one of his other workers a picture of them wearing masks, okay great now your trying to COVER up the fact that you're wearing a mask but not willing to enforce your other employees to wear facial protection. I'm very disappointed by the lack of awareness and accountability that these guys have for public health. With the increase of cases this company should be more about public health and the safety of their customers. Besides their lack of safety, they didn't put together all of my furniture that i asked them to do. Also they were late in terms of getting to my place to start their move. Tip: DO NOT let them handle unprotected TV's, they moved one from upstairs along with other items, once they got it down by the truck, lied and said it had a "pre existing scratch" all down the screen. Would have rated higher if they were Jones and didn't try to cover up their mistake. Probably will look for another company to use in the future because of this unfortunately. I found these movers here on yelp, at first I was really happy because I had called them just three days before my move and they were available. I was bothered by the $99 trip fee but figured it would be ok. I wasn't really sure that they were a real company though because there was no digital confirmation through email or proposed invoice sent to me. The morning of they were 20 minutes late to start. I had to text the owner ten minutes after the agreed start time and he said they were on their way. I had hired them to move all my boxes and furniture. I had left some stuff to the side that I was going to take myself later after I came back to clean up the apartment. There were two men. One old white guy and a young fit black guy. The young guy got right to work but the old guy who seemed like a creepy ex con started making jokes and talking to me everytime I came back into the room. He was moving incredibly slow and making the young guy do ALL the work. When I told him that I just wanted the boxes taken and the furniture and I'd get the other stuff later he said oh no no we have boxes for all that and I thought "really" and said ok. I quickly regretted saying ok because he was clearly just trying to add on time to my hourly rate while the other guy continued to pack all of my stuff into the truck alone. It took them way longer than the last three movers i've hired, because the old ex con was def conning me out of my money. When my handyman showed up the old guy stopped trying to talk to me and make stupid jokes so i'm guessing if you are a woman alone it's best not to hire these guys because they will be taking advantage of you. They got it all packed FINALLY and I went to my new place. I had clearly labeled all of my boxes but that did not stop them from asking me over and over where to put stuff. I was so frustrated literally said three times "just leave it all in a pile in the living room, i will move it to where it should go". Then the worst part was that the so called boxes that the ex con offered in the beginning were their boxes so they painstakingly had to unpack everyone. When I tried to help the old guy was stalling. WTF????????????????????????????????????????? They charged me for 2 and a half hours. That shit has literally taken 90 minutes in my last three moves and last year I threw out a mass amount of stuff, I didn't even have a couch or dressers. After the torture of this move the guy tells me they only accept cash so after they took up my time i now had to drive to a bank and withdraw the payment. I should have been told this when I made the appointment. I gave a tip but only wanted to give it to the black guy because he actually did his job. DO NOT USE these guys. read more

Moved my Daughter from Chandler (2nd floor apt) to a new apartment in Tempe at the Tempo McClintock (3rd floor apt) in less than 4 hours. Mind you no elevators at either. Mastermind helped me load a 26 ft truck for a cross country move and they did a fantastic job. Originally showed up with a 16 foot truck and they let me know right away that based on what they saw and with their experience, we'd only have fit about half of our items. A few minutes and a truck switch later, and we were off. Everything was done efficiently and all the items rode safely across country except for a small brita pitcher! If thats the only casualty of a cross country move, i'll gladly take it. Now I'm just waiting to get a formal invoice from them to submit to my work, and things will be all wrapped up! Affordable, diligent and professional! We were so relieved to find a moving coming that didn't charge up the wazoo to move us 45 minutes across the valley (unlike every other company we got quotes from). Jose was upfront about the costs (hourly + travel fee) and that there would be no hidden fees--we really appreciated that! We felt bad that the apt we were moving out of was on the third floor without an elevator, but the guys (I think their names were Jim and John) didn't mind and moved everything out quickly and carefully. We will definitely use them again if we need to move. The only caveat was that it was cash or check only, and we would have preferred to put it on a credit card (but not a big deal). I have moved 3 times the last 3 years and I wish I would've met these guys sooner! They were on time, ready work, and super pleasant to be around. The garbage apartment building I moved out of had both elevators broken and the guys moved ALL of my furniture down 3 flights of stairs. They wrapped everything, from bed frames, nightstands, TV, tall dressers, dinning table etc. They unassembled and assemble my beds. I couldn't have asked for more, they went above and beyond.
