Simple facts What do you need when moving? well we wanted fair price, our things taken care of, quick (We were not moving far), and we didn't want to have to concern ourselves with our stuff during the move at all we just wanted to be out of our old place and in our new place able to use our beds by the days end. What we got was total professionalism from the moment they arrived until they were all done and all our furniture had been set up in our new home. We got 3 movers with the truck and they were all very personable people who worked so hard in hot conditions without a moments grumble. Hopefully we wont need this company for a few years but rest assured that when we do move again this company will be the first we contact to see if they can handle our next move. Used the Yelp quoting service when I was looking for movers. Chris was very helpful and very responsive which is one of the reasons I hired his team. I was disappointed in the team that was sent and there didn't seem to be much communication/direction between the team. One guy would sit in the truck and fold blankets while the younger kid would try and figure out what to load next. They also tried to charge me their time for their 2 smoke breaks and I advised I was not paying for them to take breaks and he quickly changed it. They got the job done, no damages but it could have been done 30 minutes quicker if both movers hustled. Personally I would not hire this company again. read more

We cannot say enough about how amazing Tom and Jerome were from Movers 4 Hire. Today, We had a ton of stuff to haul down 1-2 flights of stairs and two different locations we needed our household belongings moved to in one day. Tom and Jerome were kind, respectful, careful about our belongings, enthused and unflappable. It was HOT -- August in AZ -- and in 4 solid hours of hard work, they only took a couple of very short breaks (no charge) and they hopped right back to it. In fact, I had to suggest they take a break because despite the high heat (109 degrees) they were so willing to keep going. We honesty don't know what we would have done without them!!!! We have used this company twice and would recommend them to anyone! 1st time we used a choice of 4 guys and truck having wrapped and boxed the majority of our house. The second time was moving in-laws to the area and already had a loaded Penske truck and just needed unloading and placing in the appropriate rooms. Both times got a more than fair price quote. Great communication and were on time, had great attitudes regardless of the heat of the day. Pleasure to work with and wouldn't even hesitate to recommend or use them again. First time I used this company's 2018 it was great, which is why I used them a second time. The person who scheduled me gave me an early two hour (7am-9am) window appointment (two weeks prior); the move day came and that two hour window had passed, I called to see if they were on their way, only to get told I must have been confused because I was scheduled for the afternoon, I spoke with Greg who was rude, unprofessional, and had an attitude, I said Chris booked this appointment and that he needed to get a hold of him, he still had an attitude and my family member witnessed this call (due to him being on speaker). Chris called me stating it was an error on his part etc. The crew didn't show up until 1230, this caused me a delay in my walkthrough and cleaning of the place I was moving out of. However Blaine and Luis were great, worked hard and fast, can't thank them enough. I then get a phone call from Greg and he had a complete different attitude on the phone; he was apologetic and his tone was nothing like his rude and unprofessional manner as it has been during the first call. He truly needs to learn customer service skills and learn how to speak to his paying customers. Do not recommend! read more

Three guys, Bryan, Scott, and Jerome loaded two moving trucks from our storage unit. They ran from the unit to the truck and worked their butts off. Everything was moved quickly and efficiently. They took extra time when necessary and repacked items to ensure they would make the trip safely. The owner called twice just to make sure that everything was running smoothly, and it was. This company hung in there with me with my scheduling challenges and eventual short notice to move my entire 4,500 sq. ft. facility full of heavy gym/therapy equipment and office furniture on a Sunday. They took their time enough to handle everything with care, leaving nothing damaged . . . but also hustled enough as to not drive up the bill. They stacked it in tight storage neatly and perfectly to fit. The crew were all more than polite, helpful, and knew what they were doing. Movers 4 Phoenix was one of the most affordable movers I contacted. I wasn't sure what to expect since they were considerably less expensive than their competitors, but I was not disappointed. Chris was communicative here on Yelp and very helpful over the phone estimating the time it would take to move my property. Despite having trouble with their truck on move day, they still arrived in the 2 hour window the has committed to. The 3 men were very professional and friendly and took care not to damage my property. They also made sure to clean up after themselves, which I appreciate after a move several years ago where the movers left empty soda bottles and cigarette butts in my yard. Mike & Vassa did a fantastic job with my multi-stop, load & drop-off job. I had a 16' truck that needed to be loaded with items from multiple locations and packed to survive a 3 day cross country journey from Phoenix to Charlotte driven by 2 novice drivers. I had some very precious items including my family china and crystal. Everything survived the arduous journey, all the more impressive as the truck was only half full. The guys worked steadily and did all they could to protect my valuables even though I was low on furniture pads, they totally made it work. Also they were able to accommodate moving a refrigerator from my mom's old house to her new one even though I changed the stop on the day of the job. Mike & Vassa were professional and efficient and the hourly cost was very competitive, I checked with multiple companies. I had a small billing issue and Chris in the office addressed it immediately, even on a Sunday. The story: We purchased 2 - 250+ lb onyx wall lights from the Tucson Gem Show. During pick up, we were warned we should have at least 4 ("heavy lifters") persons to get the onyx panels up and out of the crate, and off the truck. On our way home, discussing how we were going to manage this feat. I made several calls to moving companies; one company thought they could help me, but in the end not available. I ended up making contact with Movers 4 Hire and received a timely call back from Chris to coordinate timing.. Onyx panels were carefully removed from crate, lowered out of the truck and carried into our home. They were professional and conscientious, and a godsend to myself and my husband. This company sent movers to my house to move two vanities up from my garage. In the process of moving the last vanity into my master bathroom they hit the water shut off valve turning it on and wetting the new floors we had just put in. I filled out the work order noting the water damage. I had the flooring company come give me an estimate on the damage and did all the things that I was asked to do by Chris and his company so we can submit to their insurance. I have been given no resolution to this and told they will check and someone will call me. I have been avoided and given the run around now for at least the last two weeks. I don't know how else to go about this since I haven't heard back from them in over a week. Hopefully my text today to Chris and this review might get me an answer that is LONG overdue. read more

I have to tell you that I was super thrilled that I did my homework and decided to go with Movers 4 hire. Because I was moving to an apartment on the 3rd floor with no elevator, they had to send out 3 guys. I was very impressed on how fast they packed up my house. Each one of the guys were incredibly polite, pleasant, and communicated to me the entire process. They were incredibly gentle with all of my furniture. During the move I got a call from the company making sure that I was getting superior customer service, which I was. I felt for the poor guys for the 2 flights of stairs, they were drenched, but not once did they complain or show how miserable they must've felt. I tipped them very well for their hard work! We used Movers for Hire for my son's move yesterday. The day before they called to go over details of the move and see if we had any questions. They were scheduled to around at 7am and at 7:01am they were ringing my door bell. The guys came in very cordial and reviewed all areas were the items were to move then they padded the door area and laid down a rug in the traffic area they would be walking and they went to work. They shrink wrapped, had padding all included in there price... and also included was talking down the bed and putting it back together again. The team was friendly, courteous, and efficient.
