Turkey bacon sandwich with seasoned fries.
    Kim P.

The service is excellent. That's why I'm giving them the extra star. The food is okay. The breakfast buffet is free for us because we're staying longer than 3 night but retails for $20/person. I would never pay that for the breakfast. It's a typical ski resort restaurant with more or less bar food that's over priced. But the wait staff is honestly 5 star!!!

Beautifully decorated place- totally creates a good ambiance. Love the antler chandeliers! I do think it's overpriced- but so are a lot of places in Jackson Hole. Decent service. I got the Teton Greenery Salad. It was SO GOOD! It was the perfect sized salad and it was super refreshing. I sat outside. There were some bees but that's sort of expected.

Roasted Root Salad with goat cheese / raspberry balsamic vinaigrette

Salad looks boring in the box since it was to go but it had so much flavor that I enjoyed it! Very filling as well. Wish there was more hot honey and goat cheese, but that's just cause I like those ingredients. Online menu is a 9$ difference, so beware prices aren't up to date if you're looking on their website.

Nice lunch spot while taking a break from Snow King Mtn activities. Country music sets the mood. Service was great and the food was super. Recommended for a quick bite for lunch.

Should have ordered fast food. This is the second time I've been sorely disappointed. The last time I was here, I ordered the pepperoni flat bread and it was overcooked and overpriced. The one thing this place has is consistency, once again it was horrible. This time ordering the chicken and waffles with milk gravy. The chicken was burnt and salty. The milk gravy was bland and had an aftertaste of rubber. The waffles were soggy. I've made better waffles at a free breakfast from a hotel doing it myself. Never will I make the mistake of eating here. What I ordered was $21 and had a 20% service fee. I actually ordered it to-go so I'm extremely disappointed with this place. This restaurant makes McDonald's at the level of fine dining.

    Yummy nachos!

Honestly wasn't expecting much from this place because it's a resort restaurant, which sometimes they're not that great in my opinion, but I pleasantly surprised about Hayden's. My friend and I shared the nachos and the steak sandwich. The nachos were probably some of the best I've had. They were so delicious and we didn't even add any meat to them. The sandwich was also tasty! Service was a little slow but nothing awful at all and everyone was very nice, so wasn't much of a concern. If you're spending the day at Snow King this would def be a good option!

Breakfast at Hayden's post. It looks better than it actually was.

I was able to put a breakfast together out of a buffet that was in dire need of a refresh. The pastries were stale but most importantly the coffee was weak. The only thing I liked were the potatoes. It wasn't worth the expense.

    Mahi Tacos

The food was good. The mahi tacos were yummy. The nachos were ok... mostly just chips. But the service... it was bad. The sign said to seat yourself and when we did no one came to bring us drinks or check on us for at least 10-15 min (and it was not busy). We ended up having to get up and ask for service. The table next to us had to do the same. We had to walk up to a server and ask them to take our order. Being there for an hour and half they never came by to refill our waters and we had to again get up to ask for refills. We then had to get up a third time to ask for the check because no one ever came by our table. Overall, very disappointed in the service. Not to mention they charge you 20% service... for what service. I would understand if it was busy but it was slow and there were multiple servers. Bummer! Pretty location though haha

    Poorly cooked steak
    Lydia F.

This place is an absolute tourist trap. It looks pretty on the outside, but then flops on the food. The prices are exorbitant. I had a margarita and a steak for $78. The service was awful. We had to constantly flag him down for drink refills. The first margarita that was brought out wasn't a standard margarita, like I ordered. It was a strange concoction with orange juice. I had them take it back and remake it. It was very odd. My steak came out well after the rest of my party. We ordered at the same time, but some of my friends were done eating by the time my steak arrived. I ordered my steak medium rare. It was rare and cold in the middle. It wasn't juicy or flavorful. I thought steaks would have been a safe bet in Wyoming, but not here.

Worst restaurant in Jackson. We were there for 15 minutes before being greeted. Staff was overwhelmed by a partially seated restaurant.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)

It is sort of tapas style and goes nice if you decide to eat family style. The entrees are sort of medium sized portions, so, in most cases if you share with one person you should get 2-3 dishes. If you have a light appetite, though, one of the pastas would be plenty for you. We got the Caesar salad, the elk bolganaise, and the short rib. Everything was good. They made me a couple standard Old Fashioneds different than the menu option, which were excellent. It was a new Rye to me so I took a picture of the bottle to get some at home. Prices were on the high side, but service and quality were good. My drink was $22 which, frankly was a little obscene for an Old Fashioned with a "mid-range" rye, but I was on vacation and I still had a 2nd. LOL. It was great. It's just a lot for a drink. If you want to go over the top, they also have a Tomahawk steak for $126 that I'm sure is excellent. A lot of folks were getting the bone marrow which looked good. Entrees seemed to be around $30 each. I would go back. I liked sitting at the bar and talking to people. Bartenders were really great about spacing out the food so things didn't come on top of one another.

Heard great things about Glorietta Trattoria so booked it when visiting Jackson Hole this weekend…read more It did not disappoint. First, it's located in what was a killer old house in downtown. Open style kitchen and a gathering waterhole type bar. Note: the seats at the bar reserve faster than the tables. After seeing the insides I can see why. Simply amazing. Our waitress knew the menu front to back with all the nuances. When we asked what some of her favorites were. She literally rattled off 1/2 the menu. Menu is not over sized, on purpose. Every dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. Note #2: the Ceasar Salad is enough for 2 or more! And it's fantastic. About the only thing I could suggest to be better here is if management had pre-printed "Cowboy hat etiquette" cards to hand out to the patrons who arrive with hats. Lots of hats. Not a lot of true understanding for Cowboy Hat etiquette. From casual to formal, hats are off while sitting and dining. Highly recommend Glorietta Trattoria. Just remember to take your hat off at the table.
