This is a great place for dinner. We had a filet steak and sea scallops. Both were delicious! Waiter had no problem subbing our veggies and he was delightful. Service was a little on the slow side, but we were in no hurry. We felt like they did a great job with the social distancing and Covid issues. The view was lovely. Worst restaurant in Jackson. We were there for 15 minutes before being greeted. Staff was overwhelmed by a partially seated restaurant.

I stayed at the Snow King resort for approximately a week and frequented Hayden's Post for lunch, dinner, and in-between meal drinks when relaxing at the hotel. The food and drinks were always good and the staff were always friendly. Every time I visited, the time to place an order (or even to be greeted with waters at the table) was 10+ minutes. The slow turnaround time doesn't seem to be neglect of the staff, but almost a lack of staff on the shift. At the current breakfast meal it took 20 minutes for someone to pass of waters and another 5 minutes to ask for orders (from a different person). If you are in no rush, this place will work for you as every meal was above average. read more

On the Monday of March 6th at about 10am, I ate breakfast at Hayden's post. Do not eat here unless you want to wait 10 minutes to get your utensils and water. Then not be checked on by your waitress for the next 30 minutes even after everyone at your table has no water and is clearly done eating. You then will have to shout across the restaurant just to be ignored by wait staff. Then to top it all off the waitress literally disappeared out of sight for the last 15 minutes so the bus boy had to finally give us our check. My suggestion is go anywhere else other than here even if you are staying at the snow king. Also can't forget to mention that they automatically charge gratuity no matter how bad the service was. read more

Do not get the grilled cheese!!! The cheese was not melted, onions were not caramelized, and the bread was not "grilled." The ambiance is nice and it is convenient that it is in a hotel. Good for drinks, but stay away from the food. read more

Loved this place! We stayed at the hotel and ate a few meals here and all were delicious. The outdoor patio is lovely with beautiful views and heat lamps. My family and I wanted to go on the alpine slide, and found this place because it is right there. The outside seating was packed, but we were able to secure a spot with an umbrella, and they allow dogs on site...which is a plus. The other plus is the staff...our waitress was great and did her best to be accommodating (she was from New Hampshire, but I didn't catch her name). We struggled mightily with the wait time (it was close to an hour and it was clearly out of the norm since our waitress gave us a complimentary mediocre Bloody Mary), but the "cherry on top" was the food. It was terrible. I had a chicken sandwich with bacon infused cheese (I think?), and it was merely sliced deli chicken with a collection of poor flavors on ciabatta bread (to allow for a steep ticket price). My son, whose favorite meal is mac and cheese (homemade is preferred, but he'll gobble up some Kraft if necessary), took one bite and said (very clearly) "Blech!" and didn't take another bite. It looked homemade, but he didn't like it. (Okay, so he's three...maybe he's not one to be trusted as a food critic). My husband, however, was dismayed to find the end half of lettuce (that inch thick piece of an iceberg head that people typically do not add to hamburgers), making his already too-thick burger even more monstrous. And it was dry. I'm certain this was an anomaly, and others will have a better experience...but for this family, it was enough for my husband (who is not a Yelper, and often mocks my appreciation for a solid Yelp review) to ask me to write a review. You have been warned, and I hope your experience is better than ours...but do try to get the waitress from NH, she's very nice! read more

To be honest I'm so surprised to see these average reviews. We stopped on in for lunch after landing in Jackson hole. I had the chicken chikita sandwich which was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy, it dripped on my plate when I took a bite! The garlic aïoli on it was the perfect dressing. My husband and daughter had the pulled pork sandwich. I had a taste of theirs and it was soooo good! The barbecue sauce is made here with Wyoming whiskey! Our server was Rayai. She could not be sweeter. She made excellent suggestions for our draft beer and our meals. She continue to check in on us with your bubbly personality.. Thanks so much Rayai! we will definitely be back! After a long drive the four travelers in our group were hungry, dirty and tired. We thought we were settling for an average meal to accommodate our need for a quick and easy meal at our hotel. To our surprise, we had an amazing meal. Our drinks were spot on - a refreshing mojito and the best old fashioned we've ever had. Our meals consisted of short ribs, buffalo salad, and the burger. This restaurant was on my list of places to eat at while in Jackson. Sadly the service was terrible. Seemed like the wait staff didn't really care if they waited on you or not because either way they're getting 20% gratuity. Pretty much everyone in the restaurant was leaving their tables and going to the bar to get served or going up to the waiters to get service. Seemed like they were just lazy and don't care. I understand staff shortage, but we ate at another restaurant with the same shortage and 20% gratuity, and the service was awesome. So it was just the staff. After having been pulled off our flight back to LAX due to inclement weather, the airline put us up at Snow King Resort for the night and gave us food vouchers. Didn't feel like roaming around town for dinner, so checked out this place. The decor is very nice-rustic, warm, nice view of the snow outside. There is a big beautiful wood burning fireplace in the restaurant. My husband and I split the Winter Salad and the Meatloaf. Both were excellent! The salad had excellent flavor and I loved the toasted butternut squash on it. The meatloaf was hearty and warm, served with delicious green beans and savory mashed potatoes. Food was disappointing. Service was disappointing and slow. We reserved a table, yet when we arrived were told we had to wait even though the place was half empty. After 15 minutes I asked the waitress about our table and realized that she had completely forgotten about us. Once we were seated the first thing I ordered was a Latte. This restaurant is located in the Snow King Resort, but you wouldn't know it. The food here is just as fresh and inventive as what you would find down in the square. We stayed at the resort, so we had the opportunity to have both breakfast and dinner there. Portions for both meals were perfect- not too much and not too little. One of my favorite breakfast items was the Green Eggs & Ham. The creamy basily sauce on it was so good, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuits and gravy were good too. For dinner, I had the mac & cheese as a starter- perfectly cooked- creamy, flavorful, and plenty of smoky bacon. We were able to split the market salad three ways. For my main, I had the vegetable pot pie. The veggies were well cooked- not too soft, and not too hard, and the seasoning was just right. I would recommend a visit here whether you are staying at the resort or elsewhere. read more

I had to ask for silverware twice and I had three different people serving me. I also had to request condiments. The waiters are not knowledgable about the menu and, frankly, leave a lot to be desired in the customer service realm. The people next to me complained that their food was cold and the waiter told them that he could go put it under the heat lamp. Seriously. I stayed at the hotel for a conference and didn't hear the best feedback on the food. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! Great variety of healthy options and local flavor accompanied with a nice wine and cocktail menu. Portion sizes are huge so come hungry. The waitstaff is very polite and friendly. A lot of the staff members are from Europe on summer internship and are still learning the language and customs of the US, but very kind and outgoing. We were staying at the Snow King Resort and a few nights decided to get some drinks from the bar here. We never did end up eating here as I thought the food was a little pricey for what it was. They had a good selection of beer on tap and available in bottles. I really liked the Teton Amber Ale that they had on tap. The decor of this place is cute as is the decor of the entire hotel. Lots of moose antler chandeliers, etc. We also ordered drinks from here to take down to the hot tub. They put everything in plastic cups for us to have by the pool area. read more

Dinner took about an hour to be served on a Monday night at 3/4 covid capacity, the nachos were absolutely bare minimum with toppings, and for dessert we had to wait 20 minutes for them to wash a skillet for a brownie that wasn't even cooked in the skillet. We stood for several minutes when we arrived, unsure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for a hostess and it took a while for a server to waive us to a table.
