Portion size was great for the price. I've been here several times. It's always really good and meaty. The mangonada always curbs the craving.

Really like coming to this place because I like their flavors and snacks and not to mention their elote blanco... I just always hesitate on coming because the ladies taking the order always has an attitude and I always get my orders wrong I always triple tell them and they repeat it right but still get it wrong. I have a habit of checking and when you tell them their attitude is worst...

Sabe horrible, está echo pata tirar lo a la basura ewwwww

Sabe horrible qué sabor tan desagradable, está receta es muy mala, definitivamente no me antojaría de esto en este lugar

Been here at least 30x for years now and hands down the best spot for mangonadas in north austin! I usually get the mango hill, they can actually pack it to go for. My second favorite thing to get here, is a tie between the elote and the pickle Cheetos. Truly authentic elote made just how I like it! Everything here is 1000% not good for you, but it's totally worth it for an occasional treat! One star deducted for the fact there is always a wait. Props they finally got an order ahead option, but it still took 30 minutes and even had to wait once we got there. Hoping they can get this new system together for a speedier process.

    sauce cup Good good

We drove 41 minutes to this place just to get bad food. 1 star is for the sauce cup. I bought a 12oz cup of Elotes for $5, it was not tasteful, and the corn teste was blend with no season. The corn went to the trash bin because it was just that Trash. The little stand outside has Berria tacos and the meat needs season, but the sauce is good. Sad to say the meat not being season takes away from it being amazing. Whatever the seasoning is in the sauce cup put it on the meat. Please and Thank you

Neighborhood snack place. Corn in a cup, mangonadas, chicharrones are my go-tos. Lots of different choices for everyone. Snacks are good and price is average but worth the portions. Lines are usually long and service goes as fast as it can so be patient and expect a little wait. The location downtown usually has a huge line out the door and a bigger wait so this is nothing.

    Mango hill

My first time here today ! We got two mango hills they were so delicious on this hot day!

I got the mangonada just like everyone else.

Not exactly the cleanest place, and the environment is definitely the type I'm not used to since I come from a newer part of Austin. But the snacks are a good Mexican dessert for my first impression. The parking is plentiful, but do be careful around this part of Austin. Aside from Hay Elotes, the shopping center was pretty empty. I ordered the mango hill just like everyone else. I was tempted to try the coconada for the blue color, but the strawberries sticking out of a mango sorbet looked more tempting. I think a fitting description for the mango hill would be mango flavored shaved ice that has sweets stacked on top, and some hot sauce drizzled as a finishing touch. Do be careful buying this dessert if you're a slow eater. The ice will melt, and you'll be left with a cup full of melted mango flavored ice that's mixed with hot sauce. Sums up my feelings toward alcoholic beverage. I would recommend this dessert place. It's definitely something new if you're trying to be adventurous, and I can't think of any other Mexican dessert places around Austin.

Elote and agua de pepino con limón

My husband and came to get elotes and a Agua de pepino con limón The service was meh The elotes are the white corn snd served with Parmesan cheese. So if you're like me and like yellow corn with queso fresco would not recommend trying ! The water was more on the sweeter side no hint of lime but it was fresh and good

Bad experience , I had been craving Barbacoa I got good reviews of the barbacoa from here , went today and it was disgusting. It had a unpleasant smell and it tasted nasty! First and last time I'll ever come to this place!!!

So got a steak taco, barbacoa taco and a chicken quesadilla. The staff was extremely nice. I explained I couldn't have any cross contamination with pork she made sure the kitchen knew, which was greatly appreciated. So the barbacoa was ok, steak was very good and the chicken in the quesadilla was probably my least favorite only because I'm not sure if it's meant to be grilled, fried or simmered. But the chicken seemed like it was boiled then put in the quesadilla and fried on the flat top which would have been fine but the chicken seemed quite dry. Maybe I came in at a bad time not sure because when I had it at the truck I was dreaming about it for weeks so maybe it was just not my day but over all it wasn't bad and the 3 star is more because my expectations were set based on the other location. When you first walk in, it's very bring and vibrant which just really gets you in the mood for a smoothie. The person working the register was very kind and welcoming. She was incredibly helpful- helping us decide, reading off Ingredients, and even happily making changes. We ordered three smoothies: Medium Caribbean Passion Small Greens 'n Ginger (with passion mango juice instead of lemonade) Kids Strawberry Blueberry I personally think a small is a great size, the medium is just too much smoothie for me. I enjoyed my Greens n Ginger but the frozen kale gave off a very "freezer burnt" and old veggie taste which was very off putting. I love kale but I guess I don't love frozen kale. I think if fresh kale was used or maybe just freshER frozen kale it might've been an absolute win for me. I usually grab the mango a go-go which is just delicious. My friend enjoyed her Caribbean passion very much! I thought it was a bit too tart but if you're into that- go for it! My son liked his blueberry smoothie but didn't finish it so we'll be making it into gummy bears in the morning lol. They are a joint store with Annie's Pretzels and while I was VERY tempted, we opted out of those delicious doughy little bites. But next time? Nobody's safe! There are a few soda and lemonade options if you're not really the smoothie type of person. All in all this was a good experience I just think I'll try something else my next visit. Maybe a smoothie bowl!

The two concepts seem diametrically opposed, but I'm not the one forming brand alliances over here. So, it smells like an odd combination of yeast dough, butter, and celery juice all at once. You can find all the basic fruit and vegetable combinations in drinkable form, blended or pressed. The menu is bereft of food items, like the steel-cut oats I love so much, likely as a concession to Auntie A's.
