I just visited this place today! And I loved it! The food was very good, it came out very quickly, and I was also able to meet the owner!!! He actually brought out our food. He was great and so down to earth!! I got the Fill Er Up skillet and it was awesome! The eggs were scrambled perfect and the hash browns had a good crunch that made everything just fall into place. I also was able to taste one of their drinks the pinknife drinks, I know I am butchering the name but if you at least say penknife they probably will know what you're talking about lol. It was recommended by the waitress and it was very good as well. I really like this place and I am going to put it on my list is one of my new go-to's for breakfast. read more

We have tried to come to this place for breakfast multiple times and the line is always out the door. We decided to come in closer to when they opened and we were able to get a few seats at the bar area. We perused the menu and I was in love. They had classic dishes along with some great other options with a more modern take on breakfast. We're ordered the Let Freedom Ring and Eggmond Dates and we were so happy with our choices. The service was amazing and the owner was even walking around making sure everyone was satisfied with their food. I was all around impressed with this place at every level. The bad get reservations long wait anytime of day! Service was good. We ordered and got chicken and waffles and hash browns, which were good but not real warm. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and hash browns. The sandwich small but great taste but hash brown were cold and very greasy. We've had better for the hour and a half we waited but the bill was less than $40. read more

I enjoy brunch that I do not have to wait for. Since breakfast is one of those things I feel like I can make at home. So the biggest benefit is no dishes amiright!?! I was excited to see several low carb options, mostly omelets, but again, I don't have to cut everything up myself! I also love a spicy option and mostly anything with chorizo in it. My first bite was definitely a flavor explosion in my mouth. I cleaned my plate and loved the fruit option was strawberries and blueberries. I'm sure everyone has their fruit favorites, but melons just take up space in my opinion. Service was great, like I said, food came out quickly and we got there early enough 730/8 to watch the place fill up. We don't do breakfast out often, but this is a great hidden gem. read more

I know they have mixed reviews and I only had one item but know that I will definitely be back to try a bunch of other stuff!! FOOD: .75/5 SERVICE: /5 COCKTAIL: /5 OVERALL: /5 I did put my name on the yelp waitlist which isn't the most accurate but was super grateful there was a bar seat waiting on me when I got there. I do recommend either going during the week (7a-2p) or early on the weekends if you aren't a patient person. I was helped right away, my drink was STRONG like I like them.. and my food came out in about 20 min after I ordered.. which was perfect! I love that the owner not only served my food but took the time to chat with me about how he smokes most of his meat himself in-house ( his smoked salmon takes 3 days!!) , where some of the names for the food were born, and just chat about his business. He is super proud and I love that!!! My food was good! I wish I had just a tiny bit more queso on my Bennys Got Beef but am glad it wasn't too much and overpowered the entire dish. I will be back because they have everything from healthy options, to omelets, to pancakes FILLED with peanut butter, bacon, banana AND chocolate.. I was in town for a few days and a friend mentioned she wanted to try this place. It was so so hot and humid outside and so I was wearing shorts and a tank top. Inside, the AC felt good, but I was freezing. Someone who worked there noticed that I was cold and redirected the vent away from me. Noticed the good reviews and came here while waiting for my car to get fixed. Yelp did not disappoint on this recommendation. First off, I noticed the coffee mugs. Any coffee drinker knows that coffee in an actual mug is the way to go. Made me so happy. The menu is extensive with unique pairings. For the less adventurous eater, they also have plain eggs and lunch items. They smoke their own meats and make everything fresh. The owner is amazing. I watched him go from table to table helping his wait staff and treating customers like family. It's very difficult this day and age to find a comfortable restaurant with good food and service. While it was difficult to decide, I decided on an omelette with chorizo and it was delicious. The Pancake was an added bonus and I'm so glad I tried it. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand back for a third time. No big surprise, as great as the previous visits. We went on Saturday, right around 10:45. We put our name on the Yelp wait list ahead of time but still had a 15 minute wait when we got there. They were quite busy and the whole visit lasted over an hour. We had forgotten that lunch is only served Mon-Fri, the server had forgotten as well because she came back after we ordered and reminded us they don't serve lunch on Saturday. I got the good-old avocado toast again. Same as last time, they did a good job to keep it constant. The server we had was Honey. Attentive and refills came before glasses were empty. From their own smoked meats to their French toast, there's so many options to choose from. The place has a bar section and a sit down section. I had the Pikes Market which includes their smoked salmon and it was such a great combination (the salmon is inside the omelet). I was able to sub out the normal hash browns and toast for fresh fruit and French toast for a small up-charge. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get.
