I enjoyed my brunch visit to the Bellweather! I have previously been here for dinner, so it was great to see what brunch offerings they had. This is a very cute restaurant and gives you nice cozy vibes! Service was fast and efficient, which was nice for brunch. It wasn't too busy that morning. They also have a lot outside which makes parking very convenient. They have a pretty good assortment of options for breakfast and they had a special of a brunch burger, which someone in my party really enjoyed. I tried a tomato basil omelette which was OK. We sat at the bar and it was 4 flights to get to receptionist and 2 more or the bar...and I'll say we were not ready for that at all. But it was worth a nice like hike up and back down for the brunch. The menu was unique but had plenty of amazing things on it too. This restaurant is a gem! I truly enjoy the ambience and atmosphere. It gives a different and unique vibe. I ordered the breakfast burger and it was a 10/10. There were some candied jalapeños on the sandwich that really took it over the top. It was such a simple burger but it was really good and had great flavor. What rock have I been living under? Came here with a friend for brunch on Sunday around 11am. I made a reservation on Thursday night and they called Saturday to confirm and let me know that the elevator was down and that it would be a 5 flight stair climb. When I arrived I was greeted by a cheerful host and my waitress Camyrn was nice as well. They mentioned a few options and I settled on the biscuit and gravy with soft scrambled eggs and potatoes. I had an orange that was good too and there are free refills on that. The biscuits and gravy was the star of the show. The cheddar biscuits is different and pairs well with the gravy. I was very satisfied with my experience at the Bellwether. I have only been here for brunch in the past, so this was the first time I've experienced their dinner menu. I started with a cocktail that was lovely. We also ordered the wagyu bruschetta as an appetizer. Overall, it was good, but the flavors clashed a bit. However, the entrees blew us away. I ordered the pan roasted duck breast. Typically, I do not like duck but this was amazing. What a beautiful day for a nice brunch! I came here on Sunday, 8/3, to celebrate our friend moving with some friends. We had a late reservation at 1:30 and while we initially sat outside, we decided to move inside. Our server was stupendous in every facet. He was extremely attentive, never letting our water get too low and always there for anything we requested. I came in quite famished and went with the farmers breakfast and talk about bang for your buck. Drink wise, I went with the blueberry lavender sparkling cocktail. It wasn't long before our food came out and it far exceeded my expectations. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were seasoned and a lot better than expected and best of all, the turkey sausage was some of the best I've had. I made reservations on their website and was able to get a slot (reservation was made on Saturday evening). I ordered the Florentine Benedict and my husband ordered the Bacon Fried Rice with an egg over easy and a side (small plate) of biscuits and gravy. The Benedict was delicious. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. The best I've had! Let's talk about those smash fried potatoes. They were amazing! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yummy!! The Bacon Fried Rice was very good as well and a fun take on a brunch dish. Now the Bs & G, I was a bit disappointed. BEWARE OF THE WAITER DEMETRI. I'm quite sad that I have to share this. I have patronized this place numerous, referred colleagues here, had brunch parties here. Long story short. I was sorted and my waiter was Demetri. Demetri is a tall/slim, black frame glasses wearing, passive aggressive, disrespectful, soiled shirt wearing sass frass. I have diet modifications. Which I asked Demetri :"May I have the Winter Hash w/o bacon? His response was yes of course. 1st plate: my plate came out with Regular bacon (this isn't included in the meal on the menu) & Canadian bacon. I let Demetri know, he says I told them no bacon picks my plate up and walks away. 2nd plate: my plate came out with ALOT of Canadian bacon on it. I let him know again. This time he didn't say anything and took my plate. *30mins passed* Not one time did Demetri come back to the table to ask if everything was okay or to update me abt my food. By this time my client had finished eating being that we had been there for 1hr 30mins already. At this point I wasn't hungry anymore, which is fine, I was STILL very pleasant given I come here ALL the time with no issue. My food came out perfect. But I did ask will there be some type of compensation given that so much time had passed and my order was brought out incorrectly 2x. Demetri response was "For what, compensated for what? You shouldn't have got the meal w/ bacon Me: You said I was able to remove the bacon & My order was incorrect 2x & it's been awhile and now ... stopped myself in mid sentence bc Demetri rolled his eyes. I asked for the manager. Demetri walked away to go to another employee to say who knows what. He never said "sure I'll get my manager or anything just walked away. I waited abt 20mins for Demetri to come back and tell me verbatim "I'll just comp your food my manager is busy and he really doesn't care it honestly" ..........LIKE WHAT?!?!?....... So I got up and started asking all of the employees to speak to their manager. The actual manage never came out, but a guy named Josh (white guy, reddish hair and facial hair). ALMOST DONE GETTING TO THE EPIC MOMENT... I'm speaking to Josh abt the incident with my food and started speaking of Demetri's behavior which was completely inappropriate (which I verbalized) & at which Demetri came up behind Josh and started talking crap to me in a confrontation tone as if I did something wrong-- Josh NEVER told Demetri to walk away or anything just kept sighing and said that he would comp my food. This was so out of line that my client had to tell Demetri he was being disrespectful and to step off in which Demetri in return started being VERY CONFRONTATIONAL with my client. I did not feel safe and felt very threatened by Demetri's erratic behavior especially towards a customer--I was very calm the entire time, nevertheless flabbergasted. I have sent ALOT of my staff &colleagues & social media foodies here. You all have lost a customer & Uber recommendations. & Demetri is a wild card and needs to be terminated. read more

I was here recently on a Saturday night around 7 and the place was empty. There was no one at the bar tables and only a few tables in the dining room. We were one of the few couples who were sitting at the bar. This was only my second dining experience here. Honestly, my first visit the bartender was not very attentive. He spent most of his time at the end of the bar, chatting with other employees. We constantly had to ask him for things. Luckily this time, the bartender was much more friendly and attentive. Our food was decent, aside from the ice cream on the brownie looking more like tapioca. Not sure what happened there. While we were there, we observed several parties standing at the front, waiting for tables, yet employees walking past without greeting them. Even what looked to be a manager took notice, yet didn't take any action. Also the bathroom was really dirty. Especially the mirror in the women's bathroom.
