I had been wanting to check out Good Company for awhile, and I'm so glad I finally did! It has the vibe of a place you'd find in LA. It's very cozy and modern. Their drink program is STELLAR! Over the course of my group's visit we tried what felt like most of their seasonal cocktail menu. Highlights were the Mexitalian, Peach Bite, and Savannah Slammer. Nobody had a drink they didn't like! The LA vibe does come with the LA price though....whenever I pay over like $12 for a cocktail in STL I cringe a little bit. I'm a bit torn on the food. Best deviled eggs I've had in my life, and the Brussels sprouts caesar was lovely. The poutine was also super yummy. My Cuban sandwich was fine, as were the onion rings. They had a great crunch, but the onion on the inside was very thin. Plus a $2 up charge for 4 onion rings was a bit much, I thought. I wanted an entree they ran out of, so I could have just been tainted by that. Nothing was bad by any means! Dessert was good. We opted for cookies for easy sharing, and we liked them! Get the cookie dough ice cream with them. It was loaded with cookie dough. I'm excited to try them again, and hopefully get the entree I wanted! They also have a pretty good happy hour it seems.

Love bringing my good company to Good Company for craft cocktails with custom ice, delicious shareables, and as always a lovely welcome sip (alcoholic or NA options). The garlic parmesan fries are a must!

I look for only the best burgers when I get a craving for one and Good Company is just that, and is in my opinion in the upper echelon of cheeseburger places in the Lou. I went there on a busy Saturday night and was able to get seated right away at the bar and ordered the green chili cheeseburger with onion rings and wow it was amazing! The onion rings weren't my favorite and I wished I'd ordered fries but I had to try them and they were good but a little dry but glad I tried them. I'd like to try the wings that I hear are great as well as try one of the signature cocktails that's on their long drink list but I usually prefer beer with burgers and had a Narrow Gauge Double IPA that was perfect with my meal. Servers were very attentive and the atmosphere was really cool and hip.

We had such a lovely experience at Good Company, yesterday. We were looking for somewhere new to go, with a laid back vibe but also some unique drink and food options. Good Company has been on my list of places to try, so we figured we would head over - also helps they were open on a Monday - a lot of places are not. The space is cozy and so inviting. Love the green color of the walls, it just makes the place feel so warm. The bartender was fantastic, and really great at her job. Drinks and food, both top notch! They also make sure to let you know, right as you walk in, that they are an inclusive setting and I absolutely loved that!

Don't miss: Apple pie - made in a cast iron skillet this whole pie features thinly sliced apples, gooey cinnamon goodness and comes à la mode. Wow! Don't miss: Brussel sprout Cesar salad - it comes out looking like a typical arugula based Cesar but take a bite and discover the warm little roasted brussel sprouts throughout. So flavorful! Don't miss: Green chile cheeseburger- all the flavor piled onto the perfect patty. Amazing!

Good Company was good! Even with a packed house, the staff worked to accommodate as much as possible. The aesthetic was nice. And the food was fresh. For my meal I enjoyed the Green Chile burger, with the Garlic Parmesan fries and the El Santo as my drink.

I've been wanting to try Good Company for some time now and finally made it there! Definitely will be back. Drinks: A Lovely Day (gin cocktail) - VERY good! They also provided a small welcome drink/shot that was really tasty, not sure if this rotates or if it's the same all the time but you won't want to turn this down! I think a welcome drink is something we never seen in the States but it's a great idea. I even overheard another customer ask if they could get it as a normal drink because they liked it so much. Food: I had the Caesar Brussel Sprout salad to start (I ordered the half and it was a good portion for $9), loved this! Mixed greens with warm brussel sprouts and fried quinoa. I also ordered a single patty burger with fries. The burger had a really good burger sauce and the fries were just the right amount of crispy.

When you're at Good Company, you'll be in Good Company. I love the sign they have at their entrance. It says, We Welcome - All Races, All Religions, All Countries of Origin, All Sexual Orientations and All Genders. Then at the bottom it says, We Stand With You - You Are Safe Here. Seeing this message posted, warmed my heart. My friend and I are retired, so we do a frequent amount of, Day Drinking. That is how we ended up at, Good Company. We enjoyed three rounds of cocktails and each time we ordered, a different employee made our drinks. I can tell you, I was impressed. Each time the drinks were masterfully prepared and served in appropriate glassware. Except for the Moscow Mule which was not in a Copper Mug. Their Happy Hour goes from 3-5 PM and is offered, Monday thru Friday. The special Happy Hour Sips menu offers 10 classic cocktails for only $10 each. Lucky for us, many of our favorite and go to adult beverages are on the list. We enjoyed; Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Dirty Martini and Moscow Mule. As stated earlier, they were top notch. Cheers! While we drank, we ordered some items to nosh. We ordered; Onion Rings, Olives, Fries with Garlic Parmesan. The onion rings are made in house and the coating was super crunchy. I wish the onion pieces inside were cut a little thicker, but the flavor was still good. The Garlic Parmesan Fries unfortunately did not impress us. They were nothing special. They were basically skinny fries from a bag, with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top. Again, I'd say they were just average. Our Marinated Olives were served a little too hot. They're suppose to be served warm, but we had to let ours cool down a bit before we could enjoy them. The variety and flavor of the olives were good. My friend was going home to have dinner with their partner, but I needed dinner. I ordered the Single Cheeseburger with House Chips. It was served with Cooper White American Cheese, Pickle and Good Sauce. The smash burger was of good size and the cheese was melted well. I would have liked a slice of onion with mine and will try to add that the next time. Their "Good Sauce" is way better than the "Secret Sauce" at the Golden Arches. The side of House Made Chips were way better than the fries. They were super crisp and had just the right amount of salt. Over-all I'd say the adult beverages are outstanding and the food is between average and above average. The food was not disappointing, it was just typical bar grub, which is okay when you're day drinking. Minor details that make me happy are; Hooks Under The Bar, Unisex Restrooms, Linen Napkins and Little Cups of Ketchup and Good Company has them all. I'll definitely be back for another Happy Hour.

Outstanding. My husband found this place (on Yelp, of course) and it was immediately the best bites of our recent trip to the Southern Illinois/St. Louis area. Impeccable from beginning to end. The dining room is chic and comfortable. We began with cocktails. I got the Vieux Carre to start my evening which was beautifully rendered and absolutely pitch perfect. We also got their caramelized onion dip that comes with housemade chips to start. The onion dip was one of the best caramelized onion dips I've had the pleasure of enjoying. For my main, I got their pear patty melt. It was so rich and delicious, I could only eat half. The real star of the show was my husband's shrimp and grits (which I also tried). Hands down the best shrimp and grits either of us had ever had. The service was lovely and the prices were above average (but so was their food). Five stars on all fronts. Get to it!

The restaurant felt inviting and intimate the moment I walked in. The vibes were incredible, and the drinks were spot-on. Service was amazing! Diego was especially accommodating and made the experience even better! I'm so glad I decided to stop in. The food was delicious, and I'd argue they have the best smash burger in STL. I will 100% be back!

Instant stl favorite. I love the little welcome drink they provide, it was such a fun little gift to sit down to. We also got a fun two person tiki drink with curly straws! We got the chicken, and a pear jam smashburger On sourdough. Also had a side salad that was nice and refreshing. Our waiter was kind and helpful and identified his favorites as well as menu favorites and best sellers. The menu prices were on the larger side, everything is very fresh and farm to table feeling. Overall, I'd come back here for a special event like a birthday.

Good Company has been on our list for awhile. We decided to book a reservation for a nice pre Thanksgiving dinner. There is a nice bar at the entrance. The lightening is dim and romantic but the restaurant is casual. We thought the food would be good based on other reviews but we were kinda blown away. It was amazing. The Roasted Cauliflower was probably my favorite cauliflower I've had at a restaurant. The Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad was great. I thought all the greens would be brussels but it had roasted sprouts on top of arugula and another green. The roasted quinoa on top was a nice crunchy touch on the salad. We both got it and the Preserved Maitake as our main course. I love the Hen of the Woods mushroom so I was excited to try this dish. Everything about the dish, not just the mushroom was incredible. The rice, the veggies, the flavor and seasoning were all so well done! We also ordered the La Guapa cocktail. It was good, a little too much bite for me. Overall we had a great dinner. The service was very pleasant and friendly. We can't wait to come back! We highly recommend Good Company!

One of my favorite late night places for drinks and/or food. Their Brussel sprout Caesar salad is my go to paired with some garlic Parmesan fries. Can't go wrong with their house made burger or deviled eggs either!! All delicious! The island coffee is my favorite house creation. Love the menu as it's unique and well written. Service is always friendly. Can't wait to be back!

'ssippi is a new(ish) wine bar set towards the western end of the collection of bars, restaurants, and shops that are the heart of the strip. The inside has a large wrap about bar and some limited seating. There is a very good selection of wine and mixed drinks and an okay selection of beer. The prices are reasonable. There is a very limited food menu which largely consists of snacks rather than proper entrees. So this is a great pre/post drink spot rather than somewhere you would spend an evening. The bartenders were fine. Nothing stood out either in a good or bad way. The mixed drink my wife had was very good. The orange wine I had was good, a bit on the dry side but overall no complaints from either of us. Without a highlight of the spot is the large patio. It is mostly taken up by large bench style seating. So you have to be okay sitting next to strangers. I actually enjoy these types of settings and I ended up chatting up the group to our right. There are a couple tables but they are few and far between. There are some overhead canopies and lights, and there was a nice vibe and energy. I was there and it was crowded. I really enjoyed it. Just two additional things to note. The bathroom line was very long. It must only be one stall. The entire time I was there it was a dozen people deep. The only other downside is that my wife and I felt old. The vibe on a late(ish) Saturday night was mainly 20 year olds. If I was in grad school or a recent graduate I would absolutely adore this place. Even if your 30s this probably is a good vibe.
