We were looking for a lunch bite to eat for a hungry carnivore adult, a gluten intolerant adult and a vegetarian adult. After looking at a handful of menus on the street, we de died on Good Company. Service was great. Very attentive. They immediately asked if we had any dietary issues and then promptly after hearing out needs, made a handful of recommendations. We started with the cauliflower. It was excellent the light sauce and pine nuts really made this dish top notch. The vegetarian and GF adults then split the Caesar salad and the squash seasonal salad. Both were so flavorful, filling and entirely unique. If you're a salad eater, I'd highly recommend either one of these. The carnivore in our group ordered the Italian beef with French fries. Unfortunately they were out of the Italian beef so he had to settle on the wings. The wings were a solid lunch after an appetizer, but the sauce was not what was expected. Overall, the menu is simple, maybe 15 items in total and they probably need to have more for carnivores who are looking for something other than a hamburger and not too heavy for lunch. First time in and I was underwhelmed by the service but the food was good and at the end we got a glimpse of what service could be. We arrived for a late lunch around 3:15ish. There were a few people in the dining area and a person at the bar. Our host welcomed us and asked if we had a reservation, we did not. Chicken wings came out fairly quick; delivered by the host who seated us. They were really good. The skin was crisp and the buffalo sauce a good flavor. We both enjoyed them. They came with a Green Goddess dressing, I am not a fan of that dressing, but the wings were good on their own. My salad came out and it was as refreshing as it sounded! It was the half salad, and it was a generous portion. Cornichon, Oven-Roasted Tomato, Crispy Shallot, Chopped Egg, and Dill Buttermilk dressing. It was perfectly dressed, and great proportions on the ingredients. My daughter ordered the Patty Melt advertised on Union Loafers bread and that clinched it for her. She indicated it was very good. The food was delivered by someone other than our server. After our food was delivered no one came back to check on us and we waited quite a while before we could get someone's attention to bring boxes and our check. While we were waiting the employees were setting up for dinner service, adding mini aperitif style glasses and then a couple came in for an early dinner and their server was so awesome, he came over and chatted with them offering samples of some kind of alcohol, he was so friendly! For the table, we ordered chicken wings, onion rings and green chile cheeseburger and that burger was highly recommended. For my cocktail, I ordered a peach bite. For a cocktail bar, I give this place 5/5 stars. The alcoholic and alcohol free cocktails are delicious and the vibe is immaculate. I particularly like how the menu has illustrations of the cocktails so you know how they are served. Plus everything is seasonal! For food, I give it a 4/5. Came here for brunch after spending some time at the farmers market. We were able to make reservations ahead of time but that particular Saturday morning was not very busy at the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, suggesting some of their favorite items. I love the vibe of the restaurant. It's just very aesthetically pleasing and a cute space overall. I also appreciate their dedicated parking lot as sometimes parking in the Grove can be difficult to find, especially on busier days. We were asked if we had a reservation, there were three other people in the restaurant. I've never worked in a restaurant so maybe that is standard. We sat down and the bartender was our waiter. It took a while for our order to be taken, food came out pretty quickly and was hot! Wings were great, crispy and perfect buffalo sauce! The cucumber salad was awesome too! Great crispy onions and yummy dressing. The patty melt is not something I would typically get, but was good and we love union loafers bread! I got the valentine mocktail, so creamy and delicious. Over the course of my group's visit we tried what felt like most of their seasonal cocktail menu. Highlights were the Mexitalian, Peach Bite, and Savannah Slammer. Nobody had a drink they didn't like! The LA vibe does come with the LA price though....whenever I pay over like $12 for a cocktail in STL I cringe a little bit. I'm a bit torn on the food. Best deviled eggs I've had in my life, and the Brussels sprouts caesar was lovely. The poutine was also super yummy. My Cuban sandwich was fine, as were the onion rings. They had a great crunch, but the onion on the inside was very thin. Plus a $2 up charge for 4 onion rings was a bit much, I thought. Went for drinks and cocktails on a weeknight around 5:15pm and so glad we did. Inside was kind of small, very clean, sophisticated, and laid back. The bar area was very nice and welcoming. We were greeted by a a nice woman at the hostess stand, and got sat promptly at a high top by the window. Drink and food lists looked great. I got the Oaxacan Caffee and my husband had the Savannah slammer. Both were perfectly balanced, made well and with quality ingredients! We both got a standard espresso martini to finish (they use cold brew) and it was lovely as well. No creaminess, nice coffee flavor and not overly sweet. I've had several recommendations for this spot from friends and colleagues. I finally had the opportunity to stop in for brunch. I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I tried the Pretty in Pink cocktail, which was well-balanced and enjoyable, though the pour felt a bit light for a martini. Normally one martini gives me a slight buzz, but that wasn't the case here. We started with the onion rings as an appetizer. The portion size was generous, and they were tasty overall, though they had a tangy seasoning dusted on top that seemed a little odd at first. Surprisingly, it still worked. I ordered the Good Burger, and it was honestly one of the most flavorful smash burgers I've ever had. I was genuinely impressed. I got the sauce on the side since it also came with the onion rings, and unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of it -- it was a bit runny and lacked flavor. Their Happy Hour goes from 3-5 PM and is offered, Monday thru Friday. The special Happy Hour Sips menu offers 10 classic cocktails for only $10 each. Lucky for us, many of our favorite and go to adult beverages are on the list. We enjoyed; Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Dirty Martini and Moscow Mule. As stated earlier, they were top notch. Cheers! While we drank, we ordered some items to nosh. We ordered; Onion Rings, Olives, Fries with Garlic Parmesan. The onion rings are made in house and the coating was super crunchy. They were basically skinny fries from a bag, with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top. Again, I'd say they were just average. Our Marinated Olives were served a little too hot. They're suppose to be served warm, but we had to let ours cool down a bit before we could enjoy them. The variety and flavor of the olives were good. My friend was going home to have dinner with their partner, but I needed dinner. I ordered the Single Cheeseburger with House Chips. It was served with Cooper White American Cheese, Pickle and Good Sauce. The smash burger was of good size and the cheese was melted well. I would have liked a slice of onion with mine and will try to add that the next time. Their "Good Sauce" is way better than the "Secret Sauce" at the Golden Arches. The side of House Made Chips were way better than the fries. They were super crisp and had just the right amount of salt. Over-all I'd say the adult beverages are outstanding and the food is between average and above average. Outstanding. My husband found this place (on Yelp, of course) and it was immediately the best bites of our recent trip to the Southern Illinois/St. Louis area. Impeccable from beginning to end. The dining room is chic and comfortable. We began with cocktails. I got the Vieux Carre to start my evening which was beautifully rendered and absolutely pitch perfect. The lightening is dim and romantic but the restaurant is casual. We thought the food would be good based on other reviews but we were kinda blown away. It was amazing. The Roasted Cauliflower was probably my favorite cauliflower I've had at a restaurant. The Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad was great. I thought all the greens would be brussels but it had roasted sprouts on top of arugula and another green. The roasted quinoa on top was a nice crunchy touch on the salad. I love that this place has its own parking lot right next to the restaurant. I'm also grateful because they accommodated us even though we didn't have a reservation for a weekend night. You can hear music pumping from outside the restaurant and it's even louder inside. It's certainly a vibe in here. The space is intimate and yet they were able to seat our group of 9 pretty ok. The server starts you out with some complimentary spirits. The one we got was quite bitter because of the grapefruit. The drink I got, which was a Clayton Cooler was ok. It was again, quite bitter, but needed later on because their mushroom curry is really spicy. If you can't handle heat in your food, I would not recommend the mushroom curry. It was so spicy, the people who ordered it didn't want it and we had to split the rest of the food so they could enjoy as well. The chicken Katsu was pretty good. It was a decent portion size. The flavors altogether made it a flavorful meal. The patty melt was delicious. The ratio to meat and bread was ok. The fries were the best part of our meal. We had to get some extra Parmesan fries because our party liked them so much. The onion rings are only ok and quite large so only get it if you're gonna share, but otherwise skip it and save your money on something else. The burgers were complete with all the fixings. No complaints from the people who ordered them. I appreciate that the server was able to accommodate all the details on how my family wanted the burgers done and what to leave out or substitute. If possible, skip dessert here. We got the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream to share. It was warm and tasted good, but I don't think it was worth the price. The bathrooms here often have a line. They're two gender neutral ones. There were plenty of friends catching up, dates going on and it's a great place to hang out late night on the weekend. I would definitely recommend this place if you need to either catch up with friends or need a late night eat with some drinks. I also recommend making a reservation beforehand. read more

Stopped in a Friday night and appreciated that we were able to snag a seat for 4 without a reservation. Wish I'd had time to explore the drink menu a bit more because I didnt really love the first drink I went with called Angel Kiss. We ordered a few small plates to share including the Brussels salad, cauliflower, caramelized leek dip, feta tart, & fries. My favorite dish was easily the tart! The sprouts salad with very flavorful but needed some more sprouts! Not sure if they were running low or if that's how it's typically served but I was expecting a plate of shredded Brussels rather than a plate of other lettuce with about 4-5 brussels halved on top. The leek dip was also a favorite at our table but we ran out of pretzel dippers about midway through the dip - luckily the fries were great dipped in there as well! Overall cute place and a positive experience. With a couple of tweaks to the dishes this woule be a 5 star place for me. Looking forward to returning and trying other drinks & a main! read more

As the name suggests, it was for sure good company. The staff feel more like long lost friends, are so attentive and inviting. The food was great especially my bacon burger. One of the best of the best in St.Louis. read more
