We decided to spend NYE on Cherokee St. We'd never been to Saturn Lounge and made it our first stop. I loved the ambiance and vibes of this place. The music, food, and drinks all very good. We'll definitely be back!

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. First, the enchanting patio invites you into a place filled with delicious, affordable food and drinks. Lots of outdoor seating under lovely string lights, perfect for a St. Louis summer evening. You order drinks and food at the bar, which could be cumbersome during busy times. We had the pastrami poutine, mac and cheese and sliced steak sandwich which came with fries. Washed it down with 5 dollar Tiny Bomb Pilsners. I tell you, this food was so good and fresh. Not way overpriced liked many places these days. The small bites felt like reasonably sized bites and were definitely filling. Great ambiance, fantastic food and some unique beer on tap. We had a Blood Orange Wheat from Firestone Walker. I look forward to returning.

The Saturn Lounge in the gorgeous historic Lemp District is such a great place to unwind. I had the Brussels sprouts salad -- delicious. My mom ordered the French onion soup and loved it. We also got the fried ravioli and ribs, and everything was outstanding. The service was fantastic, the décor is beautiful, and the music kept the vibe just right.

The space was nicely decorated, and our waitress was friendly, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. That said, the drinks were not good and the mushrooms really missed the mark for us. We were also let down to find that they had already run out of their cocktail special. I likely won't return.

This place was amazing! I came here for a colleagues going away party and couldn't have been more impressed. Although quaint, it's got decent space in the back and a few booths in the front. We started early at 4:30 and watched it quickly fill over time. To start, I got the bolero, which consists of pineapple jalapeño tequila, mezcal, cilantro liqueur and pineapple. The taste was unique in that it had a hint of sweetness but had the jalapeño come through with a little kick. The mezcal was a nice touch. I then decided to get a couple bites and opted for the Brussel sprouts and hummus. The Brussell sprouts were just as I had hoped: crispy with a nice char, flavored with bacon and some type of cherry. The hummus was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. I love the ambiance and vibes this place has to offer and I can't wait to come back and try more drinks/food.

Went here with a friend and the vibes/aesthetic were super cute. I had the French onion soup which was fiiiiree. The drinks were yummy as well.

I cannot believe I haven't heard of this place before?! It is SO cool inside, I couldn't stop looking around. This place is really nice if you want a nightcap but don't want to deal with the hectic soulard bars. Plenty of space to sit and mingle even for a Friday night around 10pm. Street parking didn't seem to be an issue either. I really like the vibe in here. Can't wait to try the food next time!

It's a year later, and I want to say this place is definitely in our regular rotation. The patio is quickly becoming one of my favorites (see pics). They've updated the menu of cocktails, which are so excellent and very reasonably priced. They've now added food from the place next door. We've not had a full meal, but the brussel sprouts and the tomato bisque is outstanding. The vibe, both on the inside and outside, is so chill and relaxed. If you've not been here, you're missing out.

I appreciate everything in the Saturn Lounge - the vibe, the music, the seating, and the staff. This cozy bar on Cherokee feels laid-back, comfortable, and welcoming. The playlist was also amazing. They have plenty of indoor seating and a lovely patio. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived around 9 pm on a Saturday. We chose to sit outside because we didn't want to waste the perfect weather. I ordered the Slow Jam, and I liked it. The Saturn Lounge is perfect for having a date night or catching up with friends. I will be back to enjoy the vibe and explore more items on their menu!

The Saturn Lounge offers eclectic cocktails & super fun vibes! Walking in you see a shelf of all their records & huge stereo system, also the shelves are full of their alcohol. You can find local whiskeys & bourbons from Switchgrass Spirits too! Holla. Their happy hour is 3pm-6pm Tuesday-Friday with $5 draft beers & $7 wine pours! Keep walking to the back room & that offers more space with couches if you don't want to sit at the bar or booth. You can now get small bites here which didn't use to be a thing. Check out The Saturn Lounge in Cherokee St!

The Saturn Lounge is a favorite! I'm always so excited to get some delicious food and great service when I go in. The ambiance was chill and I'm ready for patio season.

I have reviewed the Saturn Lounge before. How can anyone not like this place? So well done from the patio to the bar and seating. The decor is perfect for a lounge. Dark and great cocktails. The music is the best and if you like vinyl and are OLD like me, you will love this place because they spin vinyl! I still have all of my vinyl from my high school days so I appreciate this. Fine drinks and a kind bartender make for a nice evening. Head to Saturn Lounge for a fun time.

The ambiance is soft mysterious jazz. The food: flavors and textures you will love (we had the New Mexico Poutine; crispy fries and delicious cheese salsa; and the rib eye press and Italian press - great combination of meats and sauces/jus to go with them). The drinks are full of flavor too, yet strong enough to enjoy yourself. The service is easy going yet attentive; perfect fit for the ambiance. You will love this place for a date or double date! I'll be coming back to explore more of the menu soon!

This included a 4-course meal and a glass of wine. We arrived around 6:50pm to find many other couples standing, waiting to be sat down. We checked in and were told to stand and wait. Around 7:30 pm, several other couples became impatient and were told they may sit at the bar. At this point, many 7:30pm seating time couples had arrived. At 7:45 pm, I watched 2 couples from the bar get seated at tables. I had watched them arrive to the rooftop off the elevator after my husband and I, so I spoke to one of the servers expressing our desire to be seated given it was now almost an hour past our seating time and that couples who had arrived after us were already being seated. To their credit, they sat us quickly, but it continued to go downhill from here. We waited 15 minutes for water, which we only got when we flagged down a server. Our food came out relatively quickly. During our first course, I asked for napkins (every other table had red fabric napkins) and our server brought us like 20 paper cocktail napkins, not ideal for a nice dinner. Our entrees eventually came, although the server brought out two of the cod entrees. My husband ordered steak. He brought my husband's steak, which he ordered medium, however when he cut in it was obviously rare. It was sent back. The next steak was also rare. We spoke with who appeared to be running the event and he stated he agreed it was rare (bleeding on the plate.) Finally on the third try, we received a medium rare steak, not as ordered, but close enough and at this point we wanted out of there as it was past 10 pm. Mind you, at this point we could feel the anger and frustration radiating from all of the 8/8:30 pm seating people who were still waiting on tables. We left quickly when our meal was done. We had one refill of water the entire 2hrs we were eating our meal. We were not asked if we wanted anything else to drink. This was a small event, maybe 15 tables. I'm not sure if it was overbooked, underpowered, or if they simply were just unprepared, but I've never had such a poor experience at a restaurant.

Our particular visit, it was an extremely busy Saturday and it was obvious the wait and bar staff were at their limit. Took forever to get both food and drinks, but when they finally did come they were great. I highly recommended the hummus, lots of hummus to pita ratio beware. Drinks came garnished beautifully with oven dried lemon slices (southern Arnold Palmer). Mango cart was on draft so I was very pleased. The manager was kind and apologetic in regards to long waits. We arrived a little after 11 and found a space in the back parking lot. The lot is convenient as it's pretty well-lit and is diagonal from the CF. We entered through the back where the deck is and walked right in. Upon first glance, you'll notice the hanging lights above the entrance and then after a few feet, the bar is immediately to the right. The tables are all along the left side as to make a walkway for the bar (super convenient). Due it being their anniversary, it was a bit crowded but not too bad where you couldn't get a drink or walk through. My usual go-to is a flavored vodka (three olives grape) and sprite. While they had a plethora of spirits, sadly this wasn't one of them. They had other flavored vodkas but I opted to get a simple Cosmo while my friend got a makers and coke. The Cosmo was just what I needed and might I add, well made! After we got our drinks, we did a quick walk through of the other side called The Oddities (coming soon), as well as the upstairs that overlooks the entire place. The stairs are steep, so it would behoove you to hold on to the railing. While I love trying new places, I was a bit apprehensive because I thought I'd stick out like a sore thumb. Turns out, everyone was friendly, the drinks are great, and the music wasn't bad! They had different acts going on for this particular evening (I'm not sure if this is the norm), but I know my friend is a regular on Tuesday's for karaoke. I do intend to come back and try out some more drinks and food and check out the other place once it officially opens.
