Came to Sasha's on Shaw on a Monday morning, hoping for Brunch- turns out it's only available on Sunday (completely our bad!) Nevertheless we decided to stay and grab lunch. We sat on their patio which was nice on a warm sunny day, though they also have lots of tables under the shade of their trees. We all tried their flatbreads- I really liked the Prosciutto and Green Apple one I ordered. Good blend of savory and sweet. Came in on a Sunday after a busy festival in tower grove park and was seated right away. The patio was popping but we chose to sit inside to be in the AC and to be seated right away. The staff was super super nice and answered all of our questions quickly. It did take a little while for our food to come out but when it did it was delicious. We got the bruschetta for two to split and it was a good amount for each. I've come in the past when they've had their free wine tasting on Wednesday nights and that's always fun. I've also really enjoyed getting their world tour charcuterie. I always want to come back! read more

We have now been here twice and will definitely be making this a spot that we go to frequently. Let me start by saying they have just such an amazing patio set up. They have maybe 20 cute bistro tables out in front of the wine bar/restaurant which is awesome for all these beautiful days that we've been having whether you just wanna grab a cocktail/glass of wine or if you want to eat something. So far, I've tried two of their wines. The first time I came I got the orange goddess wine by the glass and really enjoyed that. The second time we came, I realized they had imported Santorini Greek wine. Which had me jumping in my chair because I love Greek wine so we snagged a bottle of that for the table and actually ended up taking one to go as well, which I found was so cool that they would let you buy a bottle and take it home. Food wise, we love the spinach artichoke dip. The burger is good, I love the mushroom and bacon flatbread, and we tried the steak this last time and it was also tender yummy and delicious. The service is always great on the patio. They always start you off with some waters . We are always seated promptly and never have an issue getting a table outside thus far. overall just a great neighborhood spot definitely give it a try. read more

Our server was very attentive, helpful, and prompt. Spinach and artichoke dip was very tasty. Good amounts of each veg, plenty of cheesy/creamy flavor, served with crostini. I am a crostini hog so I could've used a bit more crostini. The garden flatbread was also delicious. Our server recommended it. Variety of veg topped with cheese and balsamic. Sasha's toggles between a 3.5-4 stars for me. Love it as a walkable neighborhood spot with a good ambiance inside and a patio when weather is good. Service can be hit or miss and the last time we were there, neither of the two servers that we spoke too was knowledgeable about the wine. Certain food items are great, love the smoked trout and salad options but prices are a little high. I have heard the flat breads are good but haven't tried one yet. Still a solid option. read more

Stopped in for a drink an appetizer while golf carting on an unusually warm October Sunday. The patio was pretty busy, but they were able to get us a table for 4 out of the direct sun, which I appreciated. We had a bottle of bubbly wine, which they put into an insulated wine bucket to keep it cool. We had the chicken and wild rice soup of the day, which was delicious. Sasha's is more than a wine bar so if you are not into wine there are plenty of other options for you. They have a bountiful wine and cocktail list with many top shelf options. Six of us arrived on Valentines Day evening and to our surprise there was a table available. They had V-day food and drink specials. The one that caught our eye was a shot and a beer for 9 bucks. They were offering decent whiskey and local beer and not well options. Our whiskey was at least two and a half ounce pour, and the beer was a tall boy! The rest of our gang ordered martinis and other local beers. Our food options began with a charcuterie board that satisfied the six of us. We then ordered their flatbread pizzas and crab cakes. We split a pizza, and it was more than enough for us. Even though they were busy, service was very attentive. as we never lacked drinks. There is a cozy bar area, with a fireplace, and a larger dining room. They also have a patio with heaters, but it was a tad cold that evening for us Texans. read more

What a great spot to grab some drinks on the patio! I attended an event at wild carrot down the street, and we decided to continue enjoying Shaw at Sasha's. This was on a Sunday, the sun was out, and the weather was wonderful. We had a large party and were split up into a couple different groups (totally fine). The patio itself is large but the tables give a quaint vibe and are very garden-esque. Our server was super attentive and we told her we all wanted Pinot Grigio. I visited Sasha's On Shaw for my friend's graduation celebration on a Friday night. We had a group of ten, and my friend mentioned that it was very difficult to get in contact with anyone to make a reservation. She explained that she had to call multiple times in advance, and every employee that she talked to was unfriendly and unhelpful. However, when we all arrived for the reservation, our in-person experience was totally fine! The inside is super cute and trendy, but the outdoor patio is absolutely perfect for sipping wine on a summer night. Our group of ten sat inside, and it was extremely loud and hard to hear anyone. I could barely hear my friends who were sitting directly across the table from me. I think the patio is the place to be! Our server was nice and knowledgable about the menu. She did a great job taking care of all ten of us. Our food took quite awhile to come out, but I totally understand that they were busy on a Friday night and that we had a large table. The appetizers came out with the rest of the food though, which was a little disappointing. My friend and I split a bottle of white wine. It was delicious and the perfect amount to share. Don't get too overwhelmed by the expansive wine list! Everything is very organized and easy to follow. I ate a Grilled Veggie flatbread, and it was wonderful. We came after going to Garden Glow. No reservation but we got there just in time to get the best table by the window. The ambiance and atmosphere are great. Casual but still sophisticated and romantic. The food was really good. My boyfriend enjoyed his tenderloin steak and brussels. I had the vegetable crepe. We also got the Tres Quesos cheese plate to start. Of course we ordered a bottle of wine. I think it was a dry riesling. We will most definitely be back in the summer to enjoy the patio! read more

This place is such a fun little spot. I called to see if they would help with a little birthday surprise for my best friend's 40th. They were so wonderful with helping. I brought in balloons early in the day and they so kindly set aside a table for us for late night drinks. The restaurant itself is so dang cute. The patio is a great pace to sit on a nice evening and have one co their many cocktails or a glass of wine. The food looked great! Upon entering, we were greeted and sat quickly. They weren't very busy at 5:30 on a Wednesday. However, as the night progressed, it got busier and noisier, which we didn't mind. It's very dark inside, so you may need to use a flashlight to see the menu. We started with some small plates, hummus and veggies, and bruschetta. We didn't feel rushed but were confused about who our server was. There was some lag time for beverages, but when we ordered our entrees, we didn't wait very long. The food was so good!
