    Eggs Benedict

If you're staying at the Chase, live nearby, or are going to a matinee at the movie theatre, this is a decent option for brunch. The prices are reasonable considering the area. Service was attentive while also letting us sit and visit. I had the Eggs Benedict, which I thought was tasty. Their hours are limited, so make sure you check the time before you try to stop by.

Service was prompt at 8am. Service was good. Plenty of seating on a Wednesday. Went with the basic options. Eggs/sausage/potatoes/toast. All were solid but nothing that really stands out. Sausage was flavorful. Average meal. It was fine but won't necessary return for breakfast.

Perfect for a fancy date night. You will spend over $100 for 2 people, but it's all worth it. The service is exceptional. The plating is exquisite. The food is divine! Located inside the Chase Park Plaza in the Central West End. Valet parking is free for guests of the restaurant. The hostess will validate your parking. Here's everything we ordered: Pretzel Croissants with peach bourbon jam & house made chive cream cheese Deconstructed Lobster Salad with greens grown on site, huge portions of lobster meat + claw, St. Andre cheese, dried apricots, topped with a curry vinaigrette. Jumbo Scallops (4 to an order) with Peruvian potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, topped with salmon roe House Dry Aged Strip au Poivre with peekytoe crab (the CRAB!) Dessert: Crème Brülée with a passion fruit gel, Madeline cookies, Grand Marnier soaked strawberries, and freeze-dried strawberry crumbles Peanut Butter Accompaniment with layers of chocolate and peanut butter mousse, topped with chocolate pieces and peanut brittle The Bixby (Limoncello + Hendrix) named after the owner of a mansion on the land that is now the Chase. The Steeple Chase (Vodka+ Crème de Cassis) named after the area in the Chase where you'd park your horse while you checked into the hotel.

Came for Easter brunch with the family and loved it! We normally are at a different hotel for our annual Easter brunch but this year I booked too late and found space at The Preston and was absolutely blown away! They have amazing appetizers including tuna tartare, they had an oyster bar, everyone gets an a la carte main, the dessert tables are to die for and the mimosas are bottomless! Would definitely come back next year- price for the Easter Brunch was more than reasonable!

We were trying to find a new brunch spot and remembered this restaurant inside the Chase Park Plaza. We got here around 10:30am and the hotel was busy. We waited at the host stand for quite sometime before we were greeted, and then waited for an additional 25 minutes to be seated. They had a small, but great menu to ensure there's something for everyone. We ordered right away and the food came out piping hot! We ordered the Classic, Good morning Preston and the blueberry pancakes. The Good Morning Preston dish was a take on a Croque Monsieur and it was Devine! But I will say the blueberry pancakes is what I remember. They were perfectly fluffy and flavorful. This is a must see place especially if you've never been to the Chase Park Plaza. The inside transports you back to the 40's.

We had brunch at The Preston the other day inside of the Chase Park Plaza. From the time you walk in everything is super charming and tasteful. You can tell it is an old building but it still sparkles and is endearing. We had a group of 10 of us and a reservation at 11:30 but did not get sat until 11:45am, which is not atypical for large parties it seems. Our table shared a couple bottles of champagne and my mother in law shared the avocado toast and the eggs meurette. The avocado toast lacked some 'umps' but it was good. The eggs meurette was definitely my favorite. I would have liked a little more of the pork belly but overall the dish was very good. One other perk was that the restaurant was able to validate our valet parking so that was complimentary which was nice.

The Preston is inside The Chase Hotel. They have a full bar and a welcoming staff. The food does not disappoint!! The secret star of my cheddar, spinach and mushroom omelette were the potatoes!! The flavor of these potatoes was a meal maker!!

Impeccable service, food was SO delicious please try the crab cakes, pretzel croissants, and the lamb chops. Ambiance is so aesthetic, perfect for a date night or special celebrations. Thank you!

Talked my friend into walking over to the Chase Park Plaza for breakfast after the 8am mass at the Cathedral Basilica. The selections on the menu were perfect. I chose the Eggs Benedict and added fruit and potatoes, which surprisingly were not included with my entree (and the reason I deducted one star.) Calm quiet atmosphere, as there were only a couple other diners eating when we arrived. Attentive service and they take Apple pay, thank God, because I left my wallet 0.6 miles away in my car. I will return, but I think for a $17 breakfast entree there should be at least one side included.

The Easter Brunch exceeded all expectations. Greg, our server, was more perfectly attentive. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Versatile, knows…read morehow to treat yo' self, equally at home in yoga pants, ready for a backwoods adventure or dressed to the nines, and doesn't blink at any version of you that walks through the door. That's the vibe. We started on the front patio on a Friday night and quickly realized we'd made a mistake. The doors to the interior were open and the music -- a rock-forward playlist that night -- was loud enough that we considered bailing. Our server, was unbothered when we asked to move up to the rooftop. Where we met with a new bartender and server, London, who rolled with it, got us resettled, and from that point on the night was great. London was clearly handling the bar and most of the rooftop tables, but she was attentive throughout, and made eye contact, which seems a near miracle from many 20-something these days. Bumping the score up just for the flexibility on the table move alone. The food: crab cakes were genuinely good, not life-changing, but well above the weak-crab-cake bar that exists in most of the world, served simply with capers and a small salad. I went off-script and ordered the wagyu burger medium rare with fontina (London mentioned cheddar is the more common pick, but the Fontina offerd a great alternative). The burger was deeply flavorful and cooked exactly right, but here's my one real note for the kitchen: toast the brioche bun. Wagyu medium-rare puts out a lot of juice, and an untoasted bun loses its structural integrity about three bites in. A quick toast would let the bun keep some additional integrate and keep up with the perfectly cooked beef. The pom buff were great, the best elevated patato tots you may come by. Beyond what we ordered, the Greek salad is a longtime go-to -- chopped, with grape leaves and pita, available in a small or large, and easily dressed up into a light meal with or without adding some protein or can be share as a self-dress bruschetta appetizer for the group if you ask for extra bread. The cheese boards are also a reliable pick. The wine list is extensive (it's a wine bar, after all), but they don't sniff at cocktails -- I had a solid fine old fashioned, and my wife shared had a Malbec that paired well with everything. Lots of gluten-free options across the menu, too. What Sasha's gets right is that it has refused to become precious. "Wine bar" reads as pretentious to some people, but this place runs as a neighborhood spot. You'll see college kids dressed way down, couples on dates dressed way up, Hawaiian shirts, oversized sweaters, the full range. It's the kind of place where you can split a bottle with your girlfriends, meet a date for drinks and a quick bite without committing to a full dinner, or roll in for brunch on the weekend. Different times of day, different vibes -- always approachable. 4.7 stars. Loses a few tenths for the front-patio music situation and the weak burger bun, but more than makes up for it on flexibility, food, and overall hang factor.

Used to love this place, but today really changed my impression…read more We stopped in for a quick drink on a beautiful Saturday. There were a few open tables, but we were asked to wait by the door while they "got situated." Meanwhile, a walk-in who arrived after us was seated at a table we had been waiting for. When we were finally seated, we were placed in direct sun. I asked if we could move to a shaded table in the corner and was told it was only for parties of three. After explaining we'd just be there briefly for a drink, we were allowed to sit there, but the interaction felt dismissive. From that point on, the experience felt rushed. We were pushed to order quickly, our menus were taken right away, and the check came almost immediately. It made what should have been a relaxed stop feel uncomfortable and transactional. I understand how busy restaurants can get, especially on nice days, but a little more consideration and courtesy would have gone a long way.
