Went for brunch They had bottomless bloodys for $12. Nothing special. Zing zang & vodka. Came in a small glass so had to request a few refills. The server was nice & did her best to chexk on us but she was making drinks & delivering food & had another large party. So service was slow at times. But she was kind & friendly. Ordered several things: Shrimp n grits Chicken biscuit Biscuits n gravy Falafel The grits were cheesy & tasty. The chicken biscuit & the home fry potatoes were ok. Tasted very greasy. Even the biscuit had been grilled & was greasy. The falafel had good flavor but they were crispy (maybe a little over done). I've never created an account before to make reviews but our service here was so bad that this is going to be my very first one. The place and the food was decent enough, but our service with Ashlyn was terrible. First of all, she had AirPods in her ears the entire time she was serving us. Because of this, it was a struggle the entire time to even get her attention which made it take forever to get our orders in, it wasn't even busy so the fact that this took so long made our entire party frustrated. When we finally got her attention and ordered our food/drinks, she got our orders wrong so we were missing food and she made no attempts to even come back to ask us how our food was after dropping it off or an attempt to fix it. To top it off, when we finally flagged her down to check out after she walked past our table several times not making eye contact with us with her AirPods still in her ears, she puts auto-gratuity on our tickets, not telling anyone this in our party of 4. Everything was great! From the food to the staff, it was an all around wonderful evening. My wife is celiac and finding places that have options for her is tough, and usually she ends up sick anyway. Not here though! They had so many options for gluten free foods that my wife got a little carried away and wanted to try them all. Truffle fries are not pictured but they were very good, I would recommend just mayonnaise to dip them in though because the sauce is good, but overshadowed the fries. I am not gluten free at all, but for my wife's sake we got a bunch of options and just shared. I honestly thought the chicken buffalo sandwich (I'm the one that did the horrible cutting job) was mistakenly given to us in the glutinous version. It was not though, it was just that good! This review is a combination of a summer of 2024 and January of 2025 visit. Service here is ALWAYS on point. The ambiance has date night vibes while allowing for imbibe with friends vibes. The drinks are always amazing. My standard is the Buffalo Chicken Rangoon. It's offered for all services, including brunch! It's the only time I like blue cheese crumbles (on their rangoon). The chicken and waffle missed the mark a bit with the chicken. I like it a bit more brown and flavorful but I carried on. Lastly, the January visit entailed garlic parmesan chicken wings and a chocolatini. The wings were fried hard and fresh out the grease. The chunks of garlic parmesan that fell to the bottom of the basket may have gotten eaten by itself. I may have ordered two chocolatinis and took the edge of my knife to scoop the syrup out from the bottom. Only my friend will know the truth behind the last two statements. read more

Came on a Friday night, and was seated around 8:15 PM for a party of 2. The drinks were good but came in very small portions, the espresso martini was halfway filled in the glass. However, the marshmallow espresso martini tasted very good and was a creative drink. The spritz was pretty standard. Ordered our food at 8:25. Waited around an hour for our food and got it at 9:30. Tables were empty near us and we still waited for so long. Unfortunately, we will not come back due to such a long wait time. As we got our food, the restaurant was almost cleared out. The cheesesteak was dry and oily, and the steak sides bland. Our server was very nice, and took off a drink from our bill for the wait. Service was great; just poor timing and mediocre food. Oh my goddess D E L I C I O U S N E S S. Dax was our server and he was so kind. I told him I was keto and he gave me all the keto options. I was so patient going over options with me. I ended up getting an old-fashioned per his recommendation, and I was not disappointed. It was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend. Now the food I had no idea they serve food, and I was so impressed. For starters, they had wings, and absolutely so tender, full of flavor, and just the right amount of spice. I also tried their brussels sprouts and they were toasted, but not super crunchy and had Parmesan and some other flavor on them and I could eat these every single day. No problem. These are also keto and I was so happy. I tried their vegetables as well with their feta dip, and teraziki dip, both were delicious. If you're looking for some spice, definitely get the feta dip and if you want something more settle with no space definitely get the teraziki. I've driven by here a number of times and I am a fan of craft cocktails so I thought it would be nice to check it out before heading to the Fox. For a place that has been open for years, it seemed to lack the finesse of one that has. We were greeted and everyone that worked there was incredible nice. That's what a saving the review. But two people came up to take care of us and throughout my time there, they had no way of checking people in that had reservations or know where to seat them, etc. So they say they do food and cocktails, but there were really only 4 entrees and 5 crafted cocktails...one which is sangria and there was no fruit and it was delivered in a small glass. I don't think St. Louis gets sangria. They also have sandwiches, which made up a whole column on the menu. We ordered the whipped goat cheese and it was probably the best part of the meal. Goat cheese, honey, cranberries and pistachios served with pita. Would eat again. For entrees we ordered the PBST (pork belly, sprouts , tomato with a pesto mayo) and the buffalo chicken sandwich. One with Parmesan truffle fries and one with regular. Fries were definitely undercooked (soggy) and I got very little truffle. While the pork belly was good, it was maybe 35% fat and could have been trimmed a little more. And it needed to be on a more sturdy bread. Wheat bread did not cut it. The mayo made it soft and it couldn't hold together. The buffalo chicken sandwich barely had any buffalo on it and could have been tossed in sauce. And they didn't share any of the available cheeses on the menu OR say what everything was battered in since it's all gluten free. The place is 90% tall tables, which is fine, but you shouldn't have to "set up" a table for diners. I didn't realize this place had been rehabbed by some TV show. It seems that maybe they got their orders from there and just kind of stuck with it. It could use an infusion of creativity and maybe some more structured service, but keep the people you have. I came here one night for dinner, and I loved how this restaurant is more like a neighborhood spot. It is only a few minutes walk from my apartment. During my drive, I saw this place many times and finally took time off to check out this restaurant. Upon entering the establishment, I saw Christmas decorations at the front and Christmas songs/caroling played in the background. It was a quiet night, with only a few tables and groups in the restaurant, and I sat by the corner with a full view of the restaurant (my kind of spot, if you'd ask me). It was a burger night, so I ordered that and a couple of glasses of red wine (it is a must, especially when this place has various wine options to choose from). The burger was delicious and well-seasoned; however, the fries tasted old and unseasoned, but that was okay. I enjoyed the burger a lot. The wines that I ordered were full-bodied, and they complemented my burger. The service was nothing but impressive. I forgot her name, but she served me with a smile and an enthusiastic attitude. She made my stay so welcoming and made my time here more enjoyable. I'm glad I checked out this restaurant and had a decent experience. *thumbs up* read more

My wife, our friends and I went here on Saturday to enjoy the nice weather in STL. I have seen a lot of Instagram videos posting about the great drinks at Crafted so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Gummi-Ship to Saturn, Spritz Outta Compton, Espresso Martini, and the Boulevardier. The drinks were a 5/5. Our bartender definitely knew what she was doing! The music was a combination of 90's, 2000's, 2010, and current songs which was great. The only reason I have it a 4/5 is because we will definitely be back to try the food and happy hour. read more

I loved the kitchy retro glass it came in and the flavors were so interesting, spicy tequila, sweet undertones but not overly either. We were immediately greeted and given a choice of dining inside or outside. Beautiful weather, so we opted for Al fresco. Our server, Nikki was awesome and all of the staff worked as a team. We were there during happy hour and made our meal of appetizers. Love, love, love the Brussels sprouts...perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My fiancé and I live in the area and have been very interested in trying it out, so we finally took the plunge. I'll start by saying - the food was great. My fiancé loves fish, so we got the fish and chips and he LOVED them. Perfect crunch. The fries were super great too. As for the drinks? I was a little disappointed with the selection. When I think of "crafted", I think of a specialty cocktail bar, but they didn't really have that many options. Their liquor selection was lacking, and their drink menu was lacking, and they pretty much stuck to what was on the menu. If they had a larger selection, we probably would have stayed all night, but it was not what we had expected at all from a place with that name. They check all of the boxes for a well-rounded brunch- patio seating, hand-crafted drinks and a menu containing classic and original dishes. However, the experience fell short of my expectation. I ordered the chicken and grits, one of their three main dishes served during brunch. After ~45 minutes the dish was brought out to the table. Overall, it lacked flavor and the ingredients were not well prepared. Additionally, based on the temperature and texture of the food, it tasted like it had been sitting out for an extended period before being brought out to the table. I made a reservation online because I wasn't sure how busy it would be on a Friday with St. Patrick's Day. We went pretty early and had no issues - the staff was friendly and jovial. We started with the chicken strips (hooray for being gluten free!) and some drinks. I got the lychee long island and it was SO delicious. The chicken strips were also amazing! So good that for the next few days my husband wanted to go by just to get them again. For dinner we got fish & chips and they were good, but not great. The fish was very crispy, but dry and the fries were a little cold and limp. By the time we got our meal, it was pretty packed, so definitely recommend going on the earlier side. I also tried the classic long island and would definitely recommend the lychee one over the classic. We had a little bit of check issue - we came for happy hour, but some of the items that were ordered during happy hour didn't get discounted properly. Decided on a new place (for me) as all of the brunches were closing. Crafted is an eatery on corner of Shenandoah & Compton. Dining area is a large room with a bar in the middle. We waited for several minutes for the hostess before we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartender was prompt and made us two perfect drinks. I got an espresso martini and my friend got a Bloody Mary. For our brunch I ordered chicken and waffle and my friend got the chicken biscuit. My waffle was soggy, but chicken was good. It needed some spice. My friend enjoyed his chicken biscuit, and his potatoes were both our favorite. All in all there was nothing bad about Crafted, but nothing spectacular either. read more

I want to like this place so badly, but unfortunately my last visit here was not too fantastic. Came with a friend on a slow Tuesday night. We started off with a cocktail and a glass of wine that took almost 20 minutes to arrive. (I also noticed it took our table neighbors almost 10 minutes to get a bottle of beer.) My friend ordered wings and a side salad, then I ordered cauliflower wings and fries to split with her. Our drinks were good, but my cauliflower wings had almost no breading on them and were still a bit raw. I've previously ordered takeout from here, and the cauliflower wings had been very different and fantastic. Since our food had taken around an hour to arrive, honestly I was disappointed once it did come. Also note that a four top received all of their food before us even after they came in after we ordered. Our server was super nice so we felt bad about saying anything. I'd say if I did come here again I'd probably sit at the bar where the drink service looked faster and probably just get some cold apps or salad. read more

This was our first visit. Service was excellent, - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. It was brunch and we ordered tomato juice but they didn't have it so we took Bloody Mary mix with no alcohol instead - a great substitute. Then they brought our food. This place takes plain old avocado toast to a new level with a little pork belly and balsamic drizzle. The chicken salad club was beautiful and tasty especially with the house made blue cheese dressing. Breakfast sandwich was also good and the potatoes served with it were even better.
